Hotels in Xishan District, Kunming

This place is located in a great location. There are malls just opposite which is great if you do not have plans and just want to hang around. Downstairs, there are various local food places which served good food. The hotel itself is located in k9 apartments, right next to Novotel Hotel. The reception messaged us on Trip.com on the day of our arrival to provide us with information on how to reach the hotel & the address to set in our Didi. As this was our last hotel before returning home, I honestly had alot of Taobao kuai di which the receptionist picked up for me patiently throughout all 3 days of our stay. I could not be more grateful esp when 1 of my package was sent to a place about 1.5km away from the hotel. They would wechat us on a daily basis to confirm if we needed housekeeping or if we needed any amenities. Within the room, there was a play room which my kids absolutely loved. They saw it as their private space and played inside on their own when the adults would busy. There was a washer / dryer located within the room which was so helpful. & a working fridge. We were provided with disposable coverings for the toilet bowl & bathtub and also toothbrush (including children’s toothbrush & bedroom slippers). The staircase to the loft was also safe with handrails and big enough steps to not fall / miss a step. Overall, I would definitely choose this place again if I visited Kunmin again.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Jinbi Hall Hotel. The service here is absolutely outstanding from start to finish: Seamless Arrival & Departure: When we first arrived at the DiDi drop-off location, the hotel staff was already there waiting for us to help carry our luggage to the property. On our check-out day, they went above and beyond again, escorting us and carrying our heavy bags all the way back to the DiDi pickup point. Muslim-Friendly Breakfast: They were incredibly accommodating with our specific dietary requests and ensured we had a breakfast suitable for Muslims, which we deeply appreciated. Incredibly Helpful Staff: While there is no microwave in the rooms or a shared kitchen, the staff was more than happy to reheat our food for us whenever we asked. Perfect for Prayers: The front desk team communicates flawlessly through the app and kindly granted us a late check-out so we could peacefully complete our prayers before our flight. Fantastic Location: It is perfectly situated on Nanping Pedestrian Street, and there are plenty of halal restaurants and food options right around the vicinity. The hotel's location is a huge plus; it's incredibly convenient for getting around by taxi and for shopping and dining. The surrounding amenities are also excellent. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The hot water supply is consistent, and the toiletries are high-quality. The cleaning staff are meticulous and pay great attention to detail, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay.

Having traveled to over 20 countries, this is my first time reviewing an accommodation. When you're on the road, you often miss home. But not here! We booked the Loft, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second, it felt just like home. We enjoyed tea daily, and the hotel even provided complimentary afternoon tea. The 24-hour butler service was excellent, always available and responsive. They thoughtfully prepared a travel guide for us. The daily breakfast was a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options! We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Courtyard Hotel during our trip to Kunming. The hotel boasts a truly unique ambiance with its beautiful and tranquil courtyard design. The moment we stepped in, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. The hotel also offers a fantastic array of complimentary services, including breakfast, afternoon tea, sweet soup before bedtime, free laundry service, Chinese tea tasting, and even a Hanfu experience. While the room rate isn't the cheapest, I believe it's absolutely worth it, as they provide far more than just a place to sleep – it's a complete and thoughtfully curated experience. During our stay, I wasn't feeling very well, so having such a quiet and comfortable environment to rest in was incredibly important to me. The staff's concern and care truly made me feel comforted and supported. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway, and Kunming Old Street, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Thank you to the entire hotel team for your care these past few days. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and would highly recommend it to friends who appreciate a charming courtyard style and a thoughtful accommodation experience.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the environment was quite clean. The self-service bottled water was a thoughtful touch. There are good cafes right downstairs and in the surrounding area. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. Highly recommend!

The room's decor was absolutely flawless, with great attention to every detail. It was also spotlessly clean, and they even provided disposable bath towels in the bathroom. For the 200 price point, it offers unbeatable value. The host was incredibly patient.

This guesthouse was an absolute delight! We stayed in a twin tatami room with our little one, and the low, spacious beds meant our child could run around and play freely without any worry of bumps or bruises – it was incredibly reassuring. The courtyard garden was meticulously maintained, featuring a lemon tree laden with fruit, a beautiful assortment of succulents and cacti, and a charming thatched tea pavilion perfect for a relaxing tea break. The lush greenery and tidy pathways in the yard kept our child entertained, exploring all the flowers and plants. Inside, the room was decorated with a simple yet elegant style, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. The overall atmosphere was serene and peaceful. It's perfect for both family trips and relaxing getaways. We've already added it to our list for our next trip, highly recommended!

Newly renovated, the environment is clean and grand. The location in the Dashanghui business district is excellent, close to Dianchi Lake and Xishan, making travel convenient. The guest rooms offer great views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The front desk service is warm and efficient. Breakfast includes local specialty rice noodles, and there's a 24-hour gym and laundry room available. Free parking is also provided. It's suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, just about a five-minute walk to the subway. There's a shopping area right across the street, making shopping and dining very convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The front desk staff, Lucky and Nimi, provided warm and attentive service. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel even offered fresh complimentary fruit and a well-stocked mini-bar. Overall, I was very satisfied and highly recommend it.
