Check-in was super quick, and the room was really clean – great value for money. It's located right above the Golden Wheel Building, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The room isn't on a high floor, so the elevators are fast. Overall, pretty good!

When booking cheap rooms in these central Hong Kong mansion houses, one must not set expectations too high, but getting into the room was a nightmare. I was in a rush to put my bag down to meet friends for dinner but upon arrival at the door, I could only see a doorbell that no one responded to. An elderly lady came to open the door but she was a guest in one of the rooms. I let myself in looking for the non-existing front desk but eventually had to ask a relative of the elderly lady to help me get in touch with the managers via the phone by the door. The owners asked me if I spoke English in Trip.com's internal messaging function, but the gentlemen couldn't speak any English. The lady room guest very kindly spoke for me and followed the man's instructions to open a padlock that opened a small door in the wall wherein lay my room card. I am not a fan of these kinds of spy novel methods of getting into a room at the best of times, but even less so when it is in a language I am not proficient in. Unless you speak Mandarin and can also read traditional Chinese, avoid this establishment. Strongly do not recommend.

The room was unexpectedly clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept very comfortably these past few days~ The guesthouse provides everything from tooth cups, toothbrushes, towels, and shower gel. Mainland Chinese charging plugs work directly here, and there's even a clothes drying rack. The owner was very warm and helpful; it was a pleasant stay! Next time I visit Hong Kong, I'll definitely book this guesthouse again!

base on the price paid is acceptable but in reality the condition of the hotel is very old while the bed structure need to be repaired coz lots of sound occuring when turning and if your body height is less than 1.6 m then is okay otherwise your foot will just hanging outside of bed.

Simple and nice! The room is tiny but clean, and the location is very convenient. We even had a kettle to boil water, which was much appreciated. For the price and Hong Kong standards, this is perfect. I would totally recommend it.

Everything in HK is overexpensive. This hostel seems to be the best quality/price ratio. If you're on a low budget, you should go here. Clean, well located and NO bedbugs. The hostel is on Nathan Road in Mong Kok. It is noisy but well located. The room is cleaned everyday. Feels good to have a clean bathroom. Towels are included. On the 3rd day the staff even changed them. This is obviously not a palace but it seems to be the best solution for low budget travellers.

The rooms were small but cozy. A shower and toilet were available. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. A kettle and tea were also available. There's an excellent outdoor cafe on the ground floor.

I stayed in room number 6. The room wasn't big, about 2 meters by 4 meters, and the main problem was the stench of the toilet. It didn't seem to have a water trap. It felt like I was sleeping next to feces all night! The stench was unbearable. The toilet door made a loud noise every time it was opened or closed. The bed was just a 1.5mm thick plywood board held in place. It was actually a hollow piece of plywood! It made a lot of noise when someone moved on it! Terrible! Absolutely terrible!

We played too late and left too early, so I forgot to take pictures. But the room was very clean and dry, which was great! The owner tried very hard to let me get the room key myself, but the housekeeper had to come and save us. The room was small but fully equipped, perfect for people like us who are out and about all day and need a clean place to shower and sleep when we get back. We didn't need a big place. It was clean and tidy, and we were very comfortable! It's also convenient for getting around, and I think I'd stay here again next time.

A very good hotel. In Hong Kong, where land is incredibly expensive, the owner is really nice; he speaks Mandarin, is very patient and welcoming. This place is much better than Chungking Mansions, which is a chaotic area with Indians, Pakistanis, and all sorts of shady stalls. The downsides are that it's on a main road, so it might be a bit noisy, and the rooms and beds are small. If you can accept sleeping in a hard sleeper train, this place is perfect. Compared to Hong Kong's exorbitant hotel prices, these disadvantages almost entirely seem like advantages. If you can't accept these, then you'll have to pay at least three times more.

The hotel is close to the subway station, has a nice environment, is clean, and the owner is very welcoming. Highly recommended!

It's really nice. The location is a bit confusing, and the room is a bit small, but it's comfortable and the owner is friendly. Accommodations in Hong Kong are expensive, but this place is affordable. It's perfect for enjoying your trip. I don't usually stay in a place for long, so this is a great deal.
