Our family of three traveled to Harbin during the Dragon Boat Festival. Since our daughter wanted to visit the Siberian Tiger Park, we booked this five-star hotel nearby. Although it's a bit far from the city center in Songbei, the hotel generally exceeded our expectations. First, the doorman was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy. What surprised us most was the incredible water pressure in the shower, even on the seventeenth floor; showering was incredibly comfortable. We've stayed in a few five-star hotels these past few days, and this one had the best shower experience by far. Also, the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any outside noise. The view from the window was also lovely, as the hotel is right next to the Songhua River.

Didi navigation needs to be set to Shimao Avenue Exit 3, otherwise you'll end up behind the building. It's really close to the subway, about 30 meters. There are only 4 washing machines, so if you need laundry service, don't choose this place. There are only 2 elevators for 24 floors, so you'll wait a long time. The bed in the room is very large, easily accommodating 3 people. The bathroom design is impractical; there's nowhere to put your clothes. There are few amenities and services nearby.

The hotel lobby has a Russian-style decor, perfect for taking photos. The room was very comfortable with a tasteful design. The front desk staff were warm and provided excellent service. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. It's also very close to the Harbin Ice and Snow World. There's a gym and a heated pool on the third floor. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to Metro Line 2, just one stop away from the Ice and Snow World, making it easy to get around. We booked the Courtyard Family Suite, which has a well-designed layout with a TV wall separating the two king-sized bedrooms, offering good convenience. While the hotel is a bit older, it's fully equipped with amenities, and the cleanliness is well maintained. I noticed collision protection stickers on the table corners, which is a nice touch. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even provided complimentary breakfast every day. Room service robots deliver food and water quickly, so you don't have to wait long.

What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night? The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view. The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please. This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret. It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place? Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. There's an indoor ski slope and ice rink nearby. The rooms are comfortable, and the area around the hotel is exceptionally quiet. It's also pet-friendly and has a backyard. Behind the hotel, there's a beautiful artificial lake, perfect for a stroll. There's an indoor pool, and a shopping mall is very close, making shopping convenient. It's a bit far from Central Street, but acceptable. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will continue to support this hotel.

I booked this hotel during the May Day holiday. I was very satisfied with the service and sanitary facilities. The price was cheap, but the quality of the room and the breakfast were impeccable. The stay experience was great. It is the first choice for staying here. I recommend staying here! Special praise for the front desk manager, who is kind and thoughtful!

This hotel is perfect for families with kids! It's so convenient and takes all the stress out of traveling. The hotel is really close to all the attractions, and there's a subway station right next door, making getting around super easy. The facilities are excellent and well-equipped, and they even provide amenities specifically for children. There are tons of activities for kids too. The hotel is spotless, and the staff provide fantastic service. My child had a blast, and we'll definitely be back!

Clean and tidy, no need for AC as it's super warm. Excellent location with a subway station right downstairs. All amenities are conveniently located nearby. The owner is really nice, embodying the warmth and hospitality of Northerners – always ready to answer any questions. The owner's mom is especially wonderful! Kind and enthusiastic! This room offers breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset, perfect for photos.
