Overseas Chinese Hotel

West Lake Scenic Area Hangzhou|0.33km from Lixing Department Store

Thank you to the front desk for giving us a room on the fifth floor, which is great for watching the sunset! We are elderly people from Hangzhou, so we go to Hangzhou every year to visit graves. I go to Hangzhou every year and stay at the Overseas Chinese Hotel every year. Overseas Chinese Hotel has the best location! It is at the end of the lakeside walking trail. Generally, few tour groups gather here to make noise, but something is wrong this year. The small shops on the lakeside are opposite the Overseas Chinese Hotel, and the previous tranquility has disappeared! This is not a problem with the Overseas Chinese Hotel. After Hangzhou has become a garden for people across the country, it continues to become a small commodity market in Yiwu, with a strong commercial atmosphere! Completely destroying the natural environment of Hangzhou West Lake! The Overseas Chinese Hotel only provides each guest with a bottle of water when there is no drinking water purification system. I personally think it is inappropriate. Tap water is a water source that most urbanites rarely use for drinking. I went to the front desk to express my opinion. In my opinion, there were only two bottles, and I asked for three more bottles, but they were the only ones given that day. The front desk said they were afraid that guests would take it back! The layout is too small, so there is only one possibility to take the leftovers back home and drink them on the way! I wrote a lot of comments and suggestions last year, hoping to set different prices according to the floor so that you can enjoy different benefits. The deluxe room we stayed in, I hope there will be two more bottles of water and towels that are not as thin as wiping cloths. Frugality is a virtue, but it will never be seen again. Slightly newer towels! Especially bath towels, how to dry your hair! There is also poor soundproofing in the hotel, but the person making the loud noise was actually the cleaning staff. Is this strange? No training? The refrigerator in the deluxe room is not allowed to be used. How can the guest experience be good? There is no coffee in the deluxe room, even a small bag. Is it expensive? It was so crude that I only had a tea bag with an unknown date, so I didn’t dare to drink it! When I went to the restaurant to eat, I was told that it was only for tour groups!

The location is simply good, a few steps downstairs is the West Lake, sitting by the window can see the West Lake, Leifeng Tower, you can also watch the music fountain at night, you don't have to go downstairs. Not far from the subway station, Yintai is downstairs, and all kinds of big names have everything. The sanitary environment is also good, because we have lived for several nights, and asked the landlord if we have any questions, and the solution is very good.

Like the picture, the decoration and equipment are still relatively new. The location is very good. It is very close to the West Lake Music Fountain. The shopping mall downstairs can eat. The room is large. The sky garden green plants outside the window on the 6th floor. The smart equipment is also very good. The attitude is also very good. The overall price is still very high.

Grand Hyatt Hangzhou

It was a nice stay. Location is good, right in Coral Gables downtown. I would say that there are no kettles in the room but you can ask for it and they will send you one. The room charges won’t go against deposit, instead you have the pay and after you do the check out they will release the deposit back to you. For Chinese travelers this might seem odd.
Dongpo Hotel

The location is perfect! It’s close to the metro (line 1) and right next to West Lake. The rooms were clean and did not smell like smoke. The concierge helped us get tickets for the amazing Songzhen show and a driver even picked us up. Next time we come to Hangzhou we will definitely stay and Dongpo. My one complaint is a lack of privacy in the bathrooms. The doors are clear.

The breakfast is delicious, the Chinese breakfast is very light! The location is also very good, only two or three minutes walk to the West Lake! The staff is also very nice! But the overall environment of the hotel is so-so. First, when I checked in, I found that there was no TV. Later, I asked about the design style. Then I found two moths in the room at night, both of which were killed by me. When taking a bath, the drainage is not very good, and it is easy to get out of the floor outside, causing water to accumulate. As soon as I checked in, I found that the floor of the room was a little bit up. I think it was caused by the frequent accumulation of water. In the middle of the night, the refrigerator operates too loudly, and the air purifier does not match the overall style of the homestay, so I don’t understand why there is no TV because it doesn’t match the overall style of the homestay, but this air purifier exists. I originally had great expectations for this homestay, but the greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment. The price is still more cost-effective to stay at the next door Grand Hyatt or Hilton.
