Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

Very nice and helpful people! Enjoyed the home made dinner and breakfast very much. Being able to be transported is super convenient as well, they drove me back to Luoyang early in the morning 🙏🏼😊

It’s a great location. Just 3 min drive to Shaolin temple gate/ ticket office. Hosts are super friendly and helpful with services and transfers. Food was ok. A little pricy for simple dinner. But very tasty. It’s cold currently and room had heating. Big plus. Would totally recommend it for a home stay.

horrible The owners wanted to drive us to the back of the mountain to pick us up, but they didn't come. We had to wait two hours for it to arrive. They didn't apologize and just wanted us to pay. Great owners, very friendly people who are happy to help and advise you on anything you need help with - food, transport at reasonable prices, good advice on sightseeing in the area.
