I've stayed at Pullman hotels in many cities, and this one has the best service! Whether it's the front desk, the restaurant staff, or the cleaning ladies, everyone was excellent, making you feel right at home! The front desk manager even sincerely asked for my feedback, which really shows their service-oriented mindset! This time I booked a suite. The toilet in the guest bathroom was broken, but thankfully the master bathroom toilet worked. The light strip in the master bathroom wouldn't turn off at night, and customer service immediately sent a technician up for repairs, which was very efficient! The facilities just need regular maintenance. Then, the only somewhat stiff service was from the pool staff! On the first night, I went to the pool area and let my baby get a towel himself. A female staff member, without even looking up, just told the baby to 'get it yourself' – her attitude wasn't good at all, and she lacked service awareness. Even if she wasn't staff, she would help a child, let alone being a staff member! Then my husband said the male staff at the pool also had a bad attitude and no service awareness. He directly went over to them and, in a very harsh tone, said, 'You need to leave the towel.' We weren't planning to take it anyway and were still showering in the changing room. There's no need to be so blunt; you could politely say, 'Sir, please remember to leave the towel in the changing room after showering,' instead of treating us like criminals! The only thing I felt was that the pool staff's service was poor; everyone else was excellent! It truly has a five-star standard. The only thing that needs improvement is the attitude of the pool staff! The service from the hotel's other staff was truly exceptional! It made up for the shortcomings at the pool. By the way, the pool is beautiful! I'll definitely stay here again! And we even caught Halloween 🎃! The restaurant's decorations were very thoughtful, thumbs up 👍🏻

This hotel is excellent in all aspects, probably the best in this area. I've been assigned to an executive floor twice in a row and received welcome fruits both times, which was a great experience. Just a small suggestion: this room rate used to include breakfast, but now it doesn't. For business travelers, this is not very friendly.

For a star-rated hotel, while the welcome fruit is complimentary, its quality is quite subpar for something delivered to a guest room. There's significant room for improvement in quality control. If a child were to accidentally eat it, the consequences could be severe.

Free parking is a big plus. It's within walking distance to Jiangnan Impression Plaza, which has some great restaurants like Xiyuanli and Yange Wild Vegetables – I really enjoyed the food there. Getting to Shajiabang Scenic Area takes about 40 minutes via the S3 ring road, and it's roughly the same travel time to Shanghu Scenic Area. The hotel service was good, and the place was clean and tidy.

Overall, it was very good. The room was clean and spacious, and they even had a baby crib. It would be perfect if the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied. The indoor play area for kids felt a little dated, but at least it kept the children occupied for a while.

I stayed at this hotel 8 years ago, and it's still just as good. Great value for money, the pool is very comfortable and not crowded. During the National Day holiday, they arranged quite a few parent-child activities, which are perfect for a staycation and give you a vacation vibe. The Ctrip coupon was really worth it, as it included tickets to the Shajiabang Scenic Area. Shajiabang was better than I expected; it's quite large and even has a bird-watching base.

The room was elegantly furnished and comfortable, with brand-new and complete facilities, and the view outside the window was simply breathtaking. The hotel's dining options were extensive; whether it was the exquisite breakfast or the special delicacies, every culinary expectation was met. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the surrounding amenities are also very comprehensive. The staff consistently wore smiles and proactively asked about our needs. Even facilities like the children's play area and the gym were meticulously maintained, making us feel at home and at ease. Ever since our first visit, we've been coming back with our child almost every other weekend. Now, my kid even remembers the way to different children's play areas within the hotel! This time, we came to see the big fountain, but unfortunately, it was closed for maintenance. However, kids are always easily pleased; my little one was delighted just by watching the smaller fountains.

The front desk staff was very polite and upgraded me to an executive room on a dedicated executive floor, which was very quiet. The mini-bar even had decent beer, specifically Qingdao Beer Xiao Zong Jin. However, I was woken up by sunlight in the morning because the curtains were a bit too short to block the light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast was just so-so; I wish they had some local Changshu specialties like mushroom oil noodles (Xun You Mian). They only had plain red soup noodles with no toppings, scallion oil noodles, and wontons. Surprisingly, there were a lot of foreigners, probably business travelers from the nearby industrial zone. There isn't a shopping mall close by, but if you walk a bit, there's a Jiangnan Impression where you can find food and drinks. Also, downstairs from the Mercure hotel, there's a Yujiangnan that serves good Changshu-style braised noodles. I'll definitely consider staying here for a longer period in the future, as it offers excellent value for money.

The suite was large and the hygiene was acceptable. My biggest complaint is about the food, which was the worst I've ever had at any hotel. The selection was poor, the quality low, and the taste awful. The service was also lacking, and almost half of the equipment in the gym was broken. It was nice to have a swimming pool, but I didn't get a chance to use it.

This is the first time I've encountered such an attitude, especially after staying in five or six five-star hotels this summer – it was really awful. Moreover, the restaurant staff all had blank expressions; they didn't even respond when guests thanked them. They definitely need proper training and development. A smiling service is the most basic requirement for a five-star hotel.

The room was clean, tidy, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast had fresh, delicious fruit and fresh vegetable salad. Dinner was also provided, with no extra service charge, and the portions were generous. The location was convenient for getting around.

It's pretty good, I'm satisfied. Parking is free, and it's convenient to drive around the area. The service is also decent. I stay here frequently. The breakfast is alright, and they even have a dish similar to 'Geda Tang' (dough drop soup) from Northeast China, which other hotels don't offer. It's quite nice.
