The interior is comfortable and clean, with comprehensive facilities and a smart control system. The cafeteria is bright and spotless, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, which my child absolutely loved. The front desk staff and housekeeping were incredibly enthusiastic and patient, helping us with all our requests when traveling with a child. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The environment here is really good, and the location is excellent, right near Jiaotong University, just off the Second Ring Road. It offers great value for money! There's a shopping mall and a subway station nearby, and taxis are easily accessible. The lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful; she even upgraded our room when we checked in, which we really appreciate. The hotel facilities are also very comprehensive. I truly highly recommend it!

Mercure has always been a top choice for my friends and me when traveling in China. When checking in at 1 AM, the front desk agent, Yin Ruotong (Sweet), was still patient and meticulous in helping with the procedures. Liu Yanxiang's enthusiastic greetings brightened my day, and the auntie who cooks noodles in the restaurant always had a big smile. Wei Zhengquan at the front desk was also very helpful, patiently assisting me in finding my Taobao packages that were delivered to the hotel. A special shout-out goes to a young man at the front desk, wearing a black uniform, who worked the evening shift on May 19th; he tirelessly helped me track down numerous packages when I was collecting them. Thank you to all the staff for their thoughtful service, which made this stay particularly memorable.

For its price in Beijing's 3rd Ring Road, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The room was spacious and clean, the front desk service was warm and welcoming, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The subway station isn't far either. I highly recommend staying here.

I visited Beijing on a business trip in June and chose to stay at the Shangri-La Beijing. The biggest surprise of my entire trip was the front desk agent, Gaogao – she deserves a special shout-out! It was the height of summer in June when I arrived, lugging my suitcase and sweating profusely. Gaogao greeted me with a constant smile, showing no hint of perfunctoriness. She efficiently handled my check-in, proactively informed me about the location of the elevators, pool, and restaurants. When she learned I planned to visit nearby attractions the next day, she meticulously marked out routes for me and even shared some great photo spots in the hotel's back garden. Her attention to detail was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. The hotel environment is absolutely stunning. It’s a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, boasting its own Chinese-style garden with lush greenery that's perfect for photos. The room had plenty of natural light, was spotlessly clean, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. After a long day, lying down instantly felt relaxing. The mini-bar was fully stocked. The dining was excellent; both the breakfast buffet and the Shang Palace Chinese restaurant offered delicious food, and the staff were consistently polite and attentive. As a five-star hotel, the hardware itself is already outstanding, but Gaogao's gentle, patient, and empathetic service was a huge bonus. It truly alleviated my travel fatigue and made the entire experience fantastic. I was extremely satisfied with this stay in June 2026 (sic - assumes a typo, translating as June this year, but kept the original '2026' as requested by example); I've already recommended it to friends, and Beijing Shangri-La will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in Beijing. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its incredibly convenient location. The subway station is literally a 10-meter walk from the entrance, and you can take Line 4 directly from Beijing South Railway Station to the hotel (Xinjiekou Station, Exit D). The front desk staff were very warm and helpful; they even carried my luggage to my room door. The bathroom is small but very clean. Given the slightly older hotel facilities, this was acceptable. Soundproofing could be better, and breakfast is decent – enough to fill you up.

The service was very welcoming and they answered all our questions. As a new hotel, the overall cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were very comprehensive. They provided a fridge and microwave for free, and the best part was having a washer and dryer. You also needed to use a key card to access the elevators, which made it feel very secure. Highly recommended!

Environment: I stumbled upon this hotel while traveling with my children this summer. It's conveniently located near the University of Chemical Technology, offering a quiet environment and excellent value. We weren't disappointed. A taxi ride to the Military Museum, Beijing West, and Tiananmen Square takes just over 20 minutes. While the nearest subway station is about 1 kilometer away, there's a bus stop right outside, making it convenient. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the children love the noodles at Ga Lianshou, a halal restaurant. The downside is the cramped room. Service: The front desk was attentive and helpful, offering a souvenir upon check-out. The lobby was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
