The hotel's transportation and environment are great. When traveling, the most anticipated thing is to stay in a hotel that can relax people physically and mentally. This time I stayed at Guo Erzhao, and its unique ”invisible service” concept made me feel a unique comfort and ease from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Lobby reception: just the right greeting As soon as I walked into the lobby, the warm lights and soft music created a warm atmosphere. The reception staff stood in the right position, smiling, and looking at every guest gently. When they saw me, they didn't rush to greet me, but nodded slightly. This just right greeting made me feel respected without any sense of oppression. I dragged my suitcase slowly to the front desk, and the reception staff came forward softly to help me take the luggage. The movements were gentle and skillful, as if they were afraid of disturbing my thoughts immersed in the journey. They didn't say too much greetings, but simply asked if they needed help. This silent care made me relax instantly, and the fatigue of the journey was also relieved at this moment. Check-in: Efficient and Quiet Process The check-in process surprised me even more. The front desk staff was quick and professional. They did not have too much sales pitch or complicated procedures. They simply checked the information and handed me the room card and a concise and clear check-in instructions. The whole process was quiet and efficient, with no noisy background music, no rounds of bombardment from sales staff, only the staff's soft greetings and clear instructions. I didn't even notice that there were other guests waiting around, as if the entire front desk area was just for me. This quiet atmosphere allowed me to quickly organize my thoughts and devote myself to the rest time that was about to begin. Room Service: Silent and Intimate Care After checking into the room, I deeply experienced the essence of ”traceless service”. Everything in the room was in order, from the neat bed to the neatly placed toiletries, every detail revealed the hotel's care. However, what impressed me most was the silent care of the room service staff. Wei Wanyi, Zhao Zhifeng, Zhou Qiaofeng and other friends did not knock on the door frequently to ask if the room needed to be cleaned. Everything was so quiet. It was not until I took the initiative to contact the hotel to ask for water that the service staff knocked on the door gently. The sound was so light that it was almost inaudible, but enough for me to notice. When I opened the door, they were already standing at the door with a smile, holding water in their hands, and then whispered ”I wish you a pleasant stay” and left quietly. This silent service allows me to enjoy the hotel facilities without being bothered by any unnecessary interruptions. This stay experience at Guo Erzhao made me really feel the charm of ”traceless service”. It is not simply indifferent, but a manifestation of respect and understanding for guests. Here, I can relax and enjoy a quiet time of my own. If you also want to have such an undisturbed experience during your trip, then Guo Erzhao is definitely your best choice.

- location is quite good. ~7 mins walk from the metro station. many restaurants along the street. right down below the hotel there is a 24/7 convenience store. - room is very spacious and the bunkbeds are comfortable. there are also lockers in the room for each guest. - the shower and washrooms are separated and both located in the room. not sure if this is a pro or con because that means you can hear people showering, flushing the toilets.  - there is also a common area in the basement that all guests in the hotel can use. however the TV doesn't work and the set up isn't really for you to socialise with others.  

I have been paying attention to this hotel for a long time. This time, I came back from my trip to South Korea and landed at Daxing Airport. I stayed in Beijing for one night and successfully booked tickets for the Forbidden City, so I checked in at Zhongyou Hotel. Although the hotel facilities are old, the hygiene is good and the staff are well-trained. The breakfast is not as good as that of star hotels, but the dishes are rich for this room rate. The quality of the restaurant staff needs to be improved. There were some minor episodes on the day of check-out, but they were all solved smoothly in the end. Thank you to the manager on duty that day for his ability to quickly solve problems. The price-performance ratio is still good. Recommended

If I did not know better, I would suggest there is a scam going on at this hotel . . . . I booked a room with Lake View, High Floor (11 - 26), 32m² size - Upon checking in to the hotel, I was told that my requested room type was not available but as compensation, they had upgraded me - Good news 👍 I go to the upgraded room - Low floor, city view, small room - Certainly not an upgrade! I immediately went to reception and expressed my concerns about this room upgrade and was advised that all of sudden, without expectation, my requested room type was now available - Amazing! The hotel is very ostentatious, but it is really just for show and has little substance behind it, as it is a shambles - The room quality is poor for a hotel with such grand ideals - Poorly maintained, worn and regarding some of the technology, outdated, The worst was breakfast - Absolute carnage as there was no organisation or control of breakfast diners by the staff - They allowed customers into the dining room even when there was no space for them, and this results in people wandering around with food looking for somewhere to sit. Tables were not cleared promptly, food serving areas were not tidied or cleared promptly either - To make it worse, parents allowed there children to 'play' with the coffee machines, which meant that customers had to wait - Again, staff did nothing to prevent the children playing. If you intend to stay at this hotel my recommendations are - 1. Make sure you get the room you have booked and pay for 2. Inspect the room before accepting 3. Go to breakfast either early or late to avoid the carnage Location is just OK - Nothing within walking distance, but a short taxi ride away There are many, many better quality and better value places to stay in Beijing than this hotel . . . . .

We enjoyed our stay, check-in process was smooth. We choose this hotel because it was near to Beijing west railway station as we got a train to catch to Xi’an. It was walking distance and also we found McDonalds was near to it. We stayed here as it was affordable and comes with Bfast. Housekeeping lady was helpful & friendly. We are so happy with her and tip her before we check out. Please tip your chambermaid ok, if you think they did well.

The room is clean and sanitary, with advanced facilities, soft lighting, good service, and reasonable price. There is an open restaurant on the first floor. 301 Hospital is the nearest hotel and provides free wheelchair service.

Check in time stated as 2pm. I reached the hotel around 3pm, got informed that the room wasn't ready due to the previous customer (their member with platinum level) , who has the right to check out late. Despite the hotel was fully booked that day. I was asked to wait another hour (4pm) before I can get to check into the room. This hotel policy just doesn't make sense. Apart from this awful experience. The hotel is at a good location (less than 5mins walk to the guloudajie subway), room was comfortable, clean and equipped with the AI voice/smart control. A supermarket nearby and few eatery places (include MCD) too. Great customer service especially the staff (male) who assisted my booking on 10 Nov 2024 3pm (forgot to get his name) . He has an excellent attitude, attentive to the issue and provided a reasonable compensation (room upgrade & 2hrs delayed check out) . I understand that he might have no control to change the hotel policy, but truly appreciate that he did not just brush it off and offered a better solution. There was no remarks made for my late check out time tho, even I have confirmed via wechat the day before. I received a call around 11:45pm from a female staff who asked if I am going to check out soon. I was asking isn't my check out time is extended to 2pm, her response was not pleasent, until I told her that I had confirmed via wechat yesterday. Then she apologised and said will made a remarks.

I love this hotel. The location is fantastic - just 2 min by foot behind Guloudajie station exit E. This station is also an interchange for Line 2 and Line 8. It is 1 stop away from ShiChaHai or you can even walk there. There are popular restaurants and some shops around the vicinity which makes it convenient for meals. The staff service is awesome - they are helpful and attend to my requests or help professionally and politely. It is safe.. the short walk from main road in is less than a minute but there is a security guard along the lane and the lane has human traffic so it’s safe. The hotel is quaint and clean. It’s a perfect environment for my stay. Cooling, ventilated and quiet. The bathroom has a mild musky smell perhaps of the humidity but it’s acceptable for me. Just leave the door open and spray some perfume. I would stay here again if I come to Beijing again. I would recommend to my friends too.

Reached the hotel at 8+am after a red-eye flight. Although it was too early to check-in, front desk staff kindly checked for available room, and arranged housekeeping to expedite cleaning. We were able to check-in after one hour. Very pleased with the size of the family room with 2 queen size beds, very spacious, clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping staff did good job of daily cleaning and put many bottles of drinking water for us. Hotel is directly connected to the shopping mall making it super convenient for shopping & dining and 8 mins walk from metro station, which has 2 metro lines (1 & 4), easy to travel around. Concierge/customer service is also very professional and helpful. Ordered some packages from Taobao but they went missing (2 times). The staff offered to find them and they did. Each time they also followed up with phone calls afterwards to make sure we had received them. Breakfast spread was very sumptuous and good variety, and the chef even introduced the food items personally. Overall very happy with our stay, and would highly recommend this hotel for their comfort level, customer service and value-for-money price point, to any visitors to Beijing.

In the words of the children, the pictures and the real thing ”do not match” because there are no particularly beautiful paintings on the wall. The pictures in the pictures and the so-called upgraded room pictures are shown below, but the overall feeling is okay, and the transportation is also convenient. There is no air conditioning. It is said that the central air conditioning of the hotel is not turned on at 26 or 27 degrees. It is very stuffy when sleeping at night, and the children did not sleep well. Later, when the window was opened, mosquitoes came in and the children were bitten. Later, the mosquitoes stopped biting after spraying, and I took my own small electric fan to blow for the children, and the children slept well for a while. But except for the air conditioning, the overall feeling is okay. The child was given a small plush doll when checking out. The overall transportation is also convenient. The train station should be Line 2-Line 4-Line 7 subway 🚇 It will be there in a short walk
