The only thing that created discomfort was the springs in the double bed, they were very noticeable, the problem was solved by covering them with two bedspreads, the owner should change the mattress. Looks like hotel was decorated not long ago. The carpets in the corridors though looks very tired. Ppl are smoking in the rooms and walls in the rooms are dirty. As for the location - it’s quite convenient, there are 2 subway lines right near the building and it’s just a few stops from Shanghai’s railway station

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient - it is right next to the train station and next to a shopping mall with shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Although next to the railway, we were not disturbed by the sound (we were on the third floor). The room is sufficient - a little small for two travellers with luggage but not bad for a short term stay. There is a laundry on site (washer and dryer) and detergent which are available for use free of charge. The staff are friendly - no English but no issues communicating via Google translate :) We would stay here again if back in Shanghai.

There is a refrigerator and a washing machine in the room, and there is a place on the roof for drying. 200 per night is cost-effective enough. But the management level needs to be improved. There is a ”Do Not Disturb” sign, but they insist on entering the room to clean. I don't like people entering my room. I need to communicate again and again after staying for 5 nights. Do the hotel staff not understand the sign?

A typical small hostel, the holiday price is not only doubled, there are many restaurants across the road downstairs, it is convenient to eat, the traffic is going to Siping Road, the only thing that surprises me is hygiene, I can see that it has been open for many years, but the ground is clean and the room has no smell. The hotel is not far from Yuyuan Garden and XinTianDi, as well as the tunnel to Pudong. Walking to the metro station takes around 10 minutes but we mostly took rental bikes to go there (foreigners can only use the blue HelloBikes). They can be parked in front of the hotel or at the nearby crossing and everywhere around the metro entrance. All in all, the hotel felt very outdated, both in terms of the looks of the interior and in terms of quality of the room. Some room cards stopped working, the bidet never worked from the beginning, the light switches and power sockets looked unsafe and it wasn't particularly clean. Even though we were three people, we only got 2 towels every day. However, we were still satisfied with our stay as it was quite cheap for Shanghai.

The front office works very good that she let us into the room first whilst she was doing the checkin administration. The hotel itself is an old building, but they seem to renovate the room coz the room design looks quite updated, but not the bathroom. Anyway they are clean enough for us to stay. The location just right around SISU university, quite a walk from hongkou stadium mrt station, around there are quite convenient store when u need something or just buying some breakfast, next to hotel there is a yunnan restaurant whose owner is very nice, they cook good foods too...

Hostels in the downtown area, this price is really cheap, 24 hours hot water, good service, convenient travel, the bus is at the door of the store.
