I wish we stayed a few extra days at the Berjaya. It’s really an enchanting experience to live in a wooden cabin in the forest. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate guests needs. It’s convenient, beautiful, and super relaxing. I will strongly recommend the Thai restaurant on the water - try to reserve a spot for sunset! The restaurant on the beach also have delicious meals, but unfortunately, the service at that one is very poor. I can happily recommend this resort for families and couples!

For a three-night stay that cost 8,000, I didn't feel it exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, during breakfast, the staff were mostly expressionless, and the variety of food wasn't great. The resort is quite large, so it takes some time to walk to your room, which can be challenging, especially when it's hot. It's supposed to be a family-friendly hotel, but they didn't provide children's toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, or bathrobes. It really pales in comparison to hotels back home. There are two pool areas, one of which has a simple slide. The hotel has direct access to Cenang Beach, perfect for watching the sunset and playing in the sand. When we returned to our room on the second day, we found the cleaning was subpar; there were two stains inside the duvet, and hair wasn't cleaned off the sheets when the duvet was pulled back. The duvet cover and sheets looked quite old and somewhat yellowish. The towels and bath towels in the bathroom also looked dingy, suggesting they'd been reused many times. There are USB charging ports, two on one bedside table, but other devices require an adapter. Mosquito repellent mats were not replenished after the initial two upon arrival. Tissues were not provided initially; I had to call the front desk to get them. Our room's balcony opened directly to a pool in one of the two areas, which was convenient. However, it was quite a distance from the breakfast area, unfortunately. The air conditioning in the room was also a bit loud.

This is an established five-star hotel with a beautiful and pleasant environment, especially the thriving ecosystem. Several monkey troops often visit the balconies, and you can hear squirrels 🐿️, large lizards 🦎, and various birds singing in the trees. The hotel's breakfast is also incredibly rich, offering Western dishes, Malaysian specialties, fruits, cheese 🧀, various freshly squeezed juices 🍹, and champagne 🍾. It's only about 800-900 meters from Kuah Jetty ⛵️, making it super convenient for transfers to Koh Lipe, Thailand 🇹🇭.

My stay here is exceptionally excellent and fantastic. Purposely book the sea view room here for my honeymoon and it has been great. Informed earlier and got room decoration with brownies cake provided. It just the weather was gloomy with rain from 18-20 Nov so hardly can go swim. The beach was super clean and beautiful. The staff Fatihah, Qasih and Mokhtar were so warm and friendly. The rest of the staff were also effecient and warm. Love the room service and and facilities. The breakfast was nice and we did enjoy it. Will repeat to stay here in the future during better weather season and enjoy the beach. Just a reminder, the place is far from the city and great for those who want to relax and some privacy.

The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. What we liked the most was the very tasty and varied breakfasts, as well as the infinity pool, which is open until midnight. We recommend👍🏻

We stayed at this property for two nights with my friend's families and four children. Because we had to book separate rooms in a hurry, we didn’t have high expectations and thought the kids might get tired going back and forth between rooms during the trip. However, thanks to the hotel’s thoughtful suggestion, we were upgraded to a suite. We were truly impressed by how attentive the staff were in recognizing that we were traveling together as one group! We would like to express our sincere thanks to Manager Asim for creating such an unforgettable memory for our children ☺️ Although the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the main tourist attractions, we really enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Next time, we would love to visit Langkawi again with our parents and enjoy another family trip here ❣️

Bayview is the excellent hotel in the heart of Kuah town. It’s obviously quite old but very-well kept and well-equipped. I haven’t had any disappointments during our 5 nights stay. We had a family suite. It’s well-furnished, so spacious and light! There’s a great view on the Maha tower and the sea! We didn’t have any meals in the hotel, so can’t say anything about the food and the restaurant. There’s proper cleaning every day. The staff is so helpful and friendly. So, the stay was great!

The room layout was very well designed and practical. They even had a capsule coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The pool and outdoor areas were beautiful. What I really appreciated was that getting to the beach and pool from the hotel wasn't as far a walk as it often is in China. The breakfast was plentiful, although my Chinese palate wasn't entirely used to some of the offerings. The beach was great for shell-collecting, with lots of shellfish. Overall, a really good experience! Just a heads-up, there's no Chinese-speaking staff, and it's mostly European guests.

During Chinese New Year, Langkawi was packed, and to my surprise, all the hotels on Cenang Beach were fully booked for my desired dates. So, I decided to stay in Kuah Town instead. At least the food there is good, and indeed, none of the restaurants around the hotel disappointed. Now, about this hotel itself: honestly, aside from the pool, everything else was quite a letdown. The towels were black and tattered. The room was quite spacious and even had a balcony, but despite booking a sea-view room, I was given one facing greenery. There were so many mosquitoes – I killed four or five throughout the night. The air conditioning was old and so noisy it made it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was, as always, unappetizing, probably more suited for locals and Indians. On the bright side, the duty-free shop is right across the street, and there are several convenience stores nearby, making it easy to get around.

I booked a garden-view room for three for my parents and myself. We had a very pleasant stay at Ombak Villa, thanks to the comfortable and spacious room, clean bathroom, and excellent service from the staff. The hotel’s location is ideal, as it is close to the airport and major attractions in Langkawi, and also conveniently surrounded by good local restaurants.

This is what a five-star hotel should be like! First, let's talk about the exceptional service. From the moment I checked in, I could tell this hotel genuinely cares about its guests. You can even enjoy a complimentary mini-massage during check-in. Since there were three of us, the hotel proactively moved the sofa from the balcony into the bedroom to create a temporary bed for us. Secondly, while the breakfast restaurant is a bit small and the food variety isn't extensive, everything is exquisite. Being able to order and savor unique pancakes and flatbreads, especially the Roti, which is absolutely delicious 😋, was a highlight. And the pool? It's fantastic, long enough for a good swim without a problem! Now for a few things that differed from my expectations: the hotel's size. It's actually not that big, with a long, narrow layout. The private beach has excellent sand, far superior to Tanjung Rhu, but the view isn't as open because it's partially obstructed by Paradise 101 Island.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with an amazing view. Although it is not directly beachfront, the beach is only a short walk away (around 160 metres). The hotel also provides a free shuttle service. Breakfast can get quite busy at times, but there is a great variety of options, including live cooking stations. We felt that it was slightly over priced but we are also aware that we traveled in a very busy period as it was the CNY holidays.
