The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and check-in was super fast. They even proactively asked about our travel plans and thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions and dining spots, sending us detailed directions. The location is excellent too, just a few dozen meters' walk from the night market and a ten-minute walk to the beach. There are many attractions nearby, making it incredibly convenient for both getting around and daily life. If I ever visit this city again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip!

I specifically booked this hotel for its proximity to the Old Street. Overall, it was great. Check-in was quick, and they even prepared balloons for the kids. However, since it was peak check-in time, the rooms took a while to get ready. I booked two rooms, and one was ready at 3:40 PM and the other at 4:30 PM, which was quite a negative experience. We did switch one of the family rooms because the front desk informed us beforehand about a wedding party checking in the next morning, which I appreciate. But one of our rooms on the same floor was still woken up around 6 AM by the noise. I'll definitely avoid staying on the same floor as a wedding party in the future. The hotel breakfast was excellent, with a nice environment and a wide variety of options. The shuttle bus to and from the Old Street runs every 30 minutes. The hotel also has an indoor play area (Naughty Castle) and a kids' water park. The Naughty Castle here is the cleanest and tidiest I've ever seen; I constantly saw hotel staff cleaning it. The water park is combined with the hot springs, and the kids had an absolute blast. The only reason I'm giving a lower rating is for the room cleaning. It seemed superficial; behind the trash can, there was a snack bowl left from another child. I hope they'll be more thorough with their cleaning in the future.

Had a truly wonderful trip to Beidaihe! We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, and the front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive. The room was spacious. When we discovered the hairdryer was broken, they promptly replaced it for us. As we were leaving, they even gave us a pack of local specialties. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Beidaihe!

This hotel definitely feels like a blast from the past. I saw a lot of reviews saying that before I booked, and it's absolutely true – it seriously feels like stepping back into the 80s. The facilities are quite old, and the cleanliness is just about what you'd expect for the price. The location was convenient for me, as it's right near where I was working for my business trip, which is why I chose it. Overall, the hotel service is actually very good, and the breakfast spread is fantastic with a wide variety of options. There's plenty of parking available, and it's free for hotel guests.

Hotel breakfast is really good with a couple of live stations for noodles and eggs. Rooms were also clean and hotel staff was mostly speedy and helpful. Note that there there’s no shuttle directly to the fulong ski resort, it’s a 1km walk around 15 mins, or a 5 min didi. It’s a 15 mins didi to wanlong ski resort which is also pretty convenient. The two way shuttle from the hotel to the chongli train station only lasts while the fulong resort is open so since we caught the end of the ski season, we no longer had the shuttle service to the train station but the didi was just as convenient. I liked that the location was near ski shops, restaurants and food, and even a pharmacy 200m away.

I searched for a long time on Ctrip, but too many hotels had small beds, small rooms, and poor hygiene. I booked the Bazhou Haiyue Hotel after seeing a good promotional video, and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The room was spacious enough (rare even in Langfang), and the bathtub in the bathroom was large and luxurious. After filling it with water, the surface became slightly frosted, so there was no slipperiness at all. As a newly opened hotel, there was absolutely no odor, which was perfect for someone like me with a sensitive nose. Check-out was quick and the service was impeccable. In summary: clean, hygienic, odor-free, spacious, and quiet. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, which is very convenient for families with children. Highly recommend the breakfast – excellent value and high-quality selection!

What impressed me most were the details: ✅ The bedding was so soft, like being wrapped in a cloud; a good night's sleep instantly relieved the fatigue of my journey. ✅ The bathroom featured a dark theme and a smart toilet; the shower pressure was so strong it felt like a spa treatment, and the vanity lighting was so bright you didn't even need extra light for makeup. ✅ The room even had a projector and a large screen! I stayed here last winter when I came to soak in the hot springs. I was very satisfied with the private room last time. This time I wanted to go around, so I asked the front desk to help me get a room facing the sea. Wang Zeyu, the front desk, quickly arranged the room after hearing our needs. Thank you! It’s a good experience to walk on the wooden boardwalk by the sea. The water lilies in the park are so beautiful. Especially this week, I went to the vegetation near the seaside (behind the hot springs), where there are many locusts, and it is a good season for the fragrance of locust flowers. There are also tourists and fishing enthusiasts digging on the beach. This time I know how the sandworms were found. It’s always a fresh experience to stay in this hotel. I don’t know what fun and delicious things I will find next time.
