"Facilities: In winter, I don't know if it is heating or air conditioning. The whole room is very warm as soon as I enter it! There is a new four-piece bed set, you need to put it on yourself, it feels very clean. It is enough to cover the thin quilt of the bed at night. There is a water heater to take a bath, slippers, and disposable items seem to need to buy by yourself. I brought my own and it was useless.
Environment: The room is also very warmly furnished, very clean, and there is a faint musk in the room 😊
Service: When I finally left, I forgot to take the charger, and I also troubled the owner to help find it. Thank you! The owner's lady is very nice!
It takes about 20 minutes to take a taxi from Jinci, more than ten yuan, and it is almost a dozen yuan to Yingze District. It is a relatively middle location, that is, the store location is in the residential area, it is not easy to find, you can contact the owner in advance to ask."

TTinkerbell1723I arrived in Datong on a whim and booked this hostel last minute. I stayed in the 12-bed dorm which is a large dorm with a small table and chairs, lockers, a sink to brush your teeth/wash your face and a private bathroom (with a hot water shower and toilet). The beds were comfy and have curtains and the airconditioning is strong. WiFi works well too. The dorm and the bathroom are cleaned every day. The hostel provides face towels, earplugs, toothbrushes and toilet paper. There is a comfortable lounge area just outside of the dorms. It is really a great hostel, but there is one negative aspect, the private bathroom: the glass is semi-see through (which isn’t too bad since there are just women in the room), but it lets through all the noise and light. So when somebody goes to the toilet and turns on the light the whole room lights up which even with the curtains closed will disturb your sleep. Also, the toilet flush is very loud so every time somebody flushes the toilet it can be heard through the entire room which again disturbs sleep. If you’re a deep sleeper or don’t mind wearing ear plugs then I can definitely recommend the hostel!

The only downside was that parking was only allowed on the sidewalk, and not in front of the hotel; you had to park in front of someone else's house, which made me a little uneasy. Overall, it was pretty good.

There's no stuff there so I had to ask for help to a guy just walking through the street to get in as I needed a code and they weren't answering me throw the app, tried to call them but hunged up when I talked in English.. but a part from that everything was good!

CChengshitanxianjiaZEROI came to Datong and stayed here for three days. Downstairs is the antique street of the ancient city. It is very close to Huayan Temple. It is very convenient for shopping and eating.
It is a youth hostel run by an old couple with a very good attitude. There are also two big oranges in the store, one is a relative and the other is aloof, which is very nice~

CCurt 常鹰This is a pretty basic hotel, as one would expect for the price. But the location is very decent, not far at all from the old city, facing the river, and surrounded by bbq restaurants.
Check in was pretty easy, which is not always a given when you're a foreigner staying at a cheap hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I have to mark it down for the large stain on the bedroom wall, however. And the windows are very thin. My room backed on to a square with people playing games and chatting from the early hours of the morning, and there was no relief from the sound.
My bathroom also had an odd corridor to nowhere. Not a complaint, just a little odd!

The cost-effectiveness is really high, and the transportation is very convenient, everyone can come and experience it! The store is very spacious and the atmosphere is very good. The whole process was really comfortable.

It is very close to Liuxiang, Wenzhu Lake Park, Chongshan Temple, and Confucian Temple, and not far from Shanxi Provincial Museum. I went downstairs to ride a shared bicycle.
To be honest, Taiyuan's traffic is not convenient, but if you go to an attraction, the map is not far away, it takes 40 or 50 minutes to check the bus. Fortunately, it is convenient to share a bicycle. I bought a bicycle card and rode a few cents per time.
Many snacks downstairs in the hotel are good. It is also very close to Causeway Bay Night Market. If you walk once, it is too lively, food paradise. Going to Bell and Drum Tower Street is also a walk away. Very convenient place.
The hot water in the bath is also very strong.
Air conditioning is enough.
