Reservation made in June for 3 nights and we were in 15. At our arrival in airport the boy who came for transport wasn't expected that we were in many, he presented with one means for 4 people. Having check-in at 12:00 and as we landed in the morning, we decided to take a tour in the area, but without a means the area is not very practical. When we return to check in, we find that the establishment gave 1 of our rooms to other people, although it booked in June. The facility only gave us another room, but far from the others. Inside our rooms, many were dirty, especially the bedrooms, shower handbags and bathroom washing. In addition to the dirt, we found items from other customers in the boxes and the supplied chicory stuffed in plastic, to make them look new, but they were used. Breakfast was not very varied, little things. The only positive note is the concept of structure, but made poorly.

We were there from 26.12.24 to 30.12.24 and then due to bad weather on Barakai Island we extended it to 02.01.25. A nice family hotel. So new that the taxi driver who took us from the airport didn't know it. This hotel is for a quiet stay. All the fun at ”Alona Beach” is a 15-minute drive away. Taxi, tricycle, everything costs about the same ~ 200-250 pesos. There is a bike rental in the hotel itself. 500 pesos/day. Maybe you can find cheaper, but the bikes are new and it was so convenient for us. By the way, all the photos that are presented are real: rooms, pool, even a bike. Accommodation with breakfast (from 7 to 10). Quite tasty breakfasts, though the coffee is not very good, but I'm being picky here. Apart from breakfasts, we didn't eat at the hotel, fortunately there are a couple of decent restaurants nearby. The pool is clean, there is a shower. The rooms are cleaned on request (you need to hang up a card). There is a refrigerator, the air conditioner works, there is a fan above the bed. By the way, it is very convenient, we almost never turned on the air conditioner. The contingent is different: Koreans, Russians, Europeans. There are only 15 rooms. I can safely recommend it. I gave fours everywhere, because there is always something to strive for.

The Island Front Resort is highly recommended if you are planning on staying in the Oslob area and/or are planning on seeing the whale sharks there. The Island Front Resort rooms are pretty basic, but very clean and located right on the water. It was definitely a very nice treat to eat dinner and breakfast facing the clear blue ocean and Sumilon Island, which is another tourist attraction. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, if you plan on going to see the whale sharks, the staff will arrange transportation for you (at a very fair price) and even fast track you on the boat line with a complimentary guide, which will save you time and eliminate some confusion when you get there. The food (both the dinner and complimentary breakfast) was very good and priced very reasonably. I was hoping for just a clean basic room to sleep in (which I did get), but the good and fairly priced food and being fast tracked on the whale shark line were definitely nice surprise bonuses!! 😊

Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff, fully equipped shared kitchen, eating and chilling areas. Disadvantages: Noisy AC, even more noisy roosters which do not stop during whole night as this place is located in local community. If you are a good sleeper, this place is an excellent bargain. If you are light sleeper, stay away.

Best choice for this price. Room was small but cozy, the best budget hotel we had during this trip in Phillipines (we had three ones before). Rooftop terrace is perfect, we take once our meal to eat it in the evening and we enjoy it. The location was comfortable for our needs as well.

She suggested worse places, without showers and toilets. Trip's support service suggested booking neighboring hotels a couple of kilometers from our place. This was inconvenient for us, so we settled for worse places. I don’t know if this is a mistake by the hostess or the Trip.com website. But they offered little compensation. Although an unpleasant aftertaste remained. The hostess is a very nice woman. With their daughters, they took very good care of us. Everything was clean, there was everything necessary.

Overall, everything is good, White Beach is nearby, very quiet and calm, if you have a bike, then it's generally good. Only the toilet didn't come off the barrel, I had to flush it with a ladle from a bucket.

Nice people, it was fun with the birthday celebration, the band was ok.. It was our second time stays. Still we will come back again next year. Don't expect luxurious stay but it was a feeling of being in a home in front of the beach. The pool was good, though I don't like the idea of no lifeguard no swimming policy especially if you are an adult, you can't swim in the night anymore which is kinda unfair and boring...

My partner and I stayed at La Casa di Beatrice for a little over a week and enjoyed every bit of it! Even if it rained a few days! We were greeted on arrival (opted for the airport transfer cause we like to travel hassle-free, even if it was a 3min ride lol) and were served their famous Artisan Ensaymadas and refreshing Agua Frescas. I took 2 boxes of this stuff home and had more than I probably should have during my stay. Try all of them! Then try all of them with ice cream 😋. Our faves were the classic, ube, parmesan, and dark chocolate. The restaurant fed us well on the days we chose to stay in and relax. Entering the B&B you'll notice a beautifully manicured garden and I just loved the ambiance of the place. It was bright, quiet, and the energy just felt good. The pool was sparkling clean and chlorine-free so we swam in it a lot either after breakfast or coming back from the beach. I really enjoyed that I could sit by this pool in peace and read. I guess since it's such a small B&B it was always just my wife and I out there. For activities, the front desk is really good about sharing what's fun to do if you haven't planned anything out yet. They can sort out a car, tours, etc. We adventured on our own so we rented a motorbike for less than $10 a day and went from there.

Purely. The bed is comfortable. Nice blanket. We asked for a kettle in our room and they brought it to us along with mugs and water. Friendly girls. There is a bakery on the ground floor. One bad thing - it was very noisy on the last night, and some cat was screaming every night and it was impossible to sleep.

I stayed at Hale Manna for a couple of nights as a part of our friends' wedding after-party/trip. The grounds and scenery are breathtaking. The staff is very accommodating. They offer massages on the beach and in the rooms; my husband and I opted for in-room and we agreed the massages were terrific. The individual bungalows were cozy and charming. They only have one restaurant but the menu offered a wide variety of food, ranging from Filipino dishes to pasta to pizza. The ice cream freezer was well stocked with Magnum popsicles, Cornetto, and other goodies. The beach at low tide revealed dozens of tide pools where we found snails and hermit crabs. I had the pool all to myself on our last day, but even when there were other people in the pool it never felt crowded. This is seriously a slice of heaven on earth!

Ocean Heaven had this valentine promo offer and so I availed as I'll be in the Island on those dates. The Room is Fresh and Spotless clean. The Bed and the Bathroom as well as the closet looks new, it is new. AC, TV and hot water is OK and Wifi is Very Good..Housekeeping is attending to my needs like providing a rack so I can dry my clothes and they always greet w a smile. The garden and pathwalk is wide and the whole resort had two pools w spots to relax and chill. The breakfast is good too. Location is perfect to the beach and there's a guy infront outside the resort named Azang which offers island day tours at reasonable price. I enjoyed my two nights stay.

Very nice hotel and very nice staff. The view from my room looks beautiful at anytime of the day. The front office lady is very nice, she arranged our tour to sumilon island and helped us wait for the bus to cebu city. Clean room, clean bathroom and the ac working well. I love the food in their restaurant, my favourite are shrimp sinigang and sweet and sour fish. Overall I had a pleasant stay.

Location is super!!! Near to restaurants, trycicles, restaurants and bars. All staff is frendly, the Room is very clean, with a balcony. They sell water, beer, etc in the reception for a good price. I really reccommend this place. We were a couple and it was a very good experience.

 First if all, the place is located right on the main street leading to Alona beach, and it's very noisy day and night (for those who might care). Second, no Wi-Fi in the room, and barely working one on the porch, so you have to sit on a hard wooden bench in the pool area if you want to use internet. Third, when we arrived and checked in into our room with ”garden view” we found out that our view is the wall of the room in front, shared ”porch”, which is more like a narrow alley filled with hanging laundry. When we asked the staff politely about the ”garden view” mismatch, the two receptionists instead of offering a solution directly started to blame it on us, saying that we (I quote) ”didn't request a garden view”. In my understanding, if it's written in the room description, it's included, and there was no note about requesting it anywhere. Clearly, they just wanted to get rid of me without fixing anything. All I wanted is to be moved to another room. They didn't propose that, so I asked if they had another room with a proper porch available, they rudely said no, that's all we have and turned away. After I asked again if there is anything available tomorrow or the day after, or even a different type of room, finally with very annoyed attitude admitted that there is one tomorrow that we could move to. Clearly, my trust is already shaken, so I asked them to see the room first. They made a whole scene about this, but finally showed me the room next to ours, which was better. The restaurant has similar service. We ordered 3 dishes, it took 40 minutes for them to bring one of them, and it was wrong. We sent it back, waited another 15 minutes and finally got all our food, which was very mediocre. Really not with the price and the waiting. After all this we really didn't want to stay in this place, so we booked another hotel, and went to tell them that we will be checking out. This hotel really exceeded my expectations. I had a flight in the evening and had nowhere to go in the afternoon, so I booked a room near the airport to rest.
