I stayed in Room 326 again on the third floor. The mixed dormitory with six beds features an ensuite bathroom, a spacious wardrobe, and six electrical outlets. It's a fine room with lovely views from its three small windows that can only open slightly. Hotel Waterloo and Backpackers' best aspects include its dining area, kitchen, and convenient location. It's an ideal for groups or single guests who are culturally diverse.

The hostel is good. Beds are really comfortable, with curtains. I was in a 4 bed shared room for one week, it was perfect and I was alone in the room 3 nights !
The kitchen is well equipped, I met some people too. And there is a supermarket right in front of the hostel so it's cool
Windows needs to be repaired bc you can't close them completely, some air can still pass and I was right above the ventilation system of a restaurant, so it was noisy because I couldn't close the farm completely (room 614)

Check in was very efficient. Sufficient information given. The building is large and a bit confusing but helpful coloured signage resolves that. They offer evening activities to encourage the visitors to mingle. Bbq was the first one and free!

It's very close to Cuba Street, so it's great for sightseeing. It is a good idea to bring a lock for the drawer under the bed and the locker where you can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. You can drink coffee and cocoa for free. It was nice to have pancakes and dinner parties on the weekends.

The rooms, lounge and entrance had high ceilings and did not feel small!
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean!
On the other hand, we used the shared shower room outside our room, but after waiting for a long time, there was no warm water and we showered with cold water. (I tried both of the two, but only water came out.)
If only water is served, I thought it would be kind if there was a notice on the wall.
Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

The bedroom we stayed in was really nice, the bed was super comfy.

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.

XXingzhewuyuanfujieThe location of the hotel is a bit difficult for self-driving people to find it for the first time. After following the navigation, they missed the import and then turned around to find it. In fact, the location is still very convenient, all kinds of restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations are close at hand, walking distance. Parking is free and very convenient.

GGuest UserA nice clean big room which I would’ve enjoyed more if the room didn’t smell like wet dog. I didmt complain or ask for a different room. So my bad. I was only there for 1 night. And I bought an air freshener from the shop. It didn’t help sadly. Or having the windows open or the fan on. The room had potential otherwise. The bed was comfy, the shower was great. There was a little kitchenette also. It was just a shame it smelled bad.
GGuest Userwe had a very good experience staying at this motel. the lady at the reception was very polite and helpful. we had all the amenities required to make our stay comfortable. the parking was right outside our room. the shower had the right pressure and the bathroom roomy and very clean. highly recommended.
