It was very quiet after 11 PM, and the view was fantastic; you could see the city walls from your room. The facilities were complete, including a washer and dryer. Transportation was very convenient, very close to the subway and bus stations. The old city was right downstairs, with a lively, bustling atmosphere – it felt like stepping back in time. The room was very clean and odor-free, with 24-hour hot water. Most importantly, it was located on the city walls, so I highly recommend it.

I had the most wonderful time at this Hotel, with the staff all being so hospitable and friendly! The owner of the hotel look after all his Guests very well and doesn’t leave them in need of anything, from rides to extending booking rooms, even complimentary fruit and snacks! The food in the hotel is very delicious and traditional, all very clean and flavourful! I can’t reccomend this hotel enough it’s only 1km away from Shaolin temple and other beautiful attractions.
It was a pleasure to stay here!
Thank you for having me 🥰

Guest UserThis hidden gem in the city offers peace and tranquility, blending rustic charm with the owner's thoughtful attention to detail. The yard features a play area for kids, a BBQ spot for adults, fruit and vegetable picking, and even a home for stray cats. September seems to be off-peak, making it excellent value for money.

Guest UserService: The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. It was a hot day, and they thoughtfully turned on the AC in our room before we arrived, which was a lovely touch!
Environment: The guesthouse's location is perfect! It's just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Ancient City and Shizijie.
Cleanliness: The room was spacious and spotless!
Facilities: The room featured smart home appliances, and the zero-pressure, spine-friendly mattress was super comfortable and helped us relax after a long day. The price was also very affordable, offering excellent value for money. If I get the chance to visit Luoyang again, I'll definitely choose to stay here!

-maomi-Like coming home, receiving thoughtful care everywhere.
Mo Shang Yi Su, though called a B&B, has long surpassed the typical 'agritainment' style. Its facilities rival those of a star-rated hotel, but with an added warmth and human touch that high-end hotels often lack. When I wanted to visit the Shaolin Temple scenic area, the proprietress said, ”Wait a moment, I'll drive you there.” Upon getting out, she didn't forget to remind me, ”Remember to call me when you're done, and I'll pick you up.” It was only about 600-700 meters, but it was incredibly heartwarming.
As the sun set, the proprietress had already hosed down the rooftop terrace, suggesting we could go up and sit. After dinner, the entire B&B was filled with the scent of agarwood. Each floor also had an elegant tea room.
After a day of sightseeing, the proprietress asked, ”What would you like to eat? We'll cook for you.” After ordering, she said, ”You can go back to your room first, we'll call you when the food is ready.” It truly felt like being at home.
Before I left, the proprietress thoughtfully gave me a parting gift, allowing me to take some of that warmth home with me.
As I checked out, the second-generation young man who drove me to the station shared some simple yet profound words: ”When we run a B&B, we don't compete with farm stays. We just focus on providing excellent service. We try our best to meet our guests' needs. If there's something we can't do, we find someone to help. And for requests guests haven't even made, we try to be thoughtful and proactive, striving to ensure guests leave with no regrets.”
I wish the B&B family all the best and continued success!

Location: Right on Longmen Ancient Street, very close to Longmen Grottoes.
Service: The service was excellent, and they were very responsive to all requests. When I first arrived, I couldn't find the place, and the lady at the front desk came out in the scorching sun to guide me. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to anything I needed.
Facilities: Plenty of power outlets, including USB direct charging and even a Type-C direct charging port, which is really fantastic!
However, I do have one small complaint. In 36°C weather, a toilet seat that felt like 40°C made me sweat just looking at it. Also, the placement of the door and the trash can is awkward; I scraped my arm on the doorknob while throwing out trash, and it really stung. I'd suggest moving the trash can or adding one near the sink!

The homestay is located on the pedestrian street right outside Luoyi Old City. It is easier to access through the parking lot at the back, though most taxi driver will refuse to reach there as the street is pretty narrow. Although the homestay follows old Chinese theme for all rooms and furniture, everything is new and clean. We even had water filter machine. There’s a separate laundry room that you can use for free. We were lucky that our room was at the very back, far from the noisy pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who prefer staying close the to old city to take photoshoot in Chinese costumes.

First and foremost, the host and property manager were incredibly welcoming. We arrived at the complex just as the manager was inspecting rooms, and they even helped us carry our luggage – a definite thumbs-up! The apartment itself is spacious and bright, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all immaculately clean. The location is fantastic, situated right in the heart of the old town with excellent transport links. Luoyi Ancient City is just a short stroll downstairs, offering a variety of street food. Conveniently, the Luoyi Ancient City metro station (Line 1) is also just downstairs. You can take the metro one stop to Lijinmen, where you'll find Old Town Cross Street with all sorts of local snacks inside the city gate. The second stop is Yingtianmen, near the Tiantang, Mingtang, and Jiuzhouchi attractions, whose evening light shows are particularly stunning. We visited during the summer, so we unfortunately missed the famous Luoyang peonies; I'll have to return next April to see them. Luoyang is truly a city steeped in history, and I definitely plan to visit again!

JuujuuHuUpon arrival, I was amazed on how quiet and clean the space were, took countless photos and couldn't dare to mess the space up, but I had to. It was such a lovely welcome with a flower (fake) on the bed, such a nice prop if you plan to take pictures with the lovely soft light coming from the window.
Location is very convenient, close to the metro and buses, being right at the entrance of the 丽景门, going places was ideally. Foods and milk tea stores were downstairs less than 5min walk away. 15-20min you would had reach the end of the night market from the hotel.
The room was clean and neat. If solo travel or couple traveller, it would be least of an issue, but if travelling with your friend, I must say the main door to the bathroom do need a little cover up as it is just a glass door. The bed was comfy, the pillow was the right height and firmness. I love the big space that's worth the price. I felt so space in this little hotel, the owners were so kind and friendly, vey lovely service too.
In conclusion: i would come back here when I'm in Luoyang again.

Ismahani SayutiThe location is very close to luoyi ancient city, less than 5 mins walk. When we arrived, the boss pickup us at cross road due to small alley so our driver cannot drop us directly. Boss is very nice even though we do not understanding Chinese. We communicate via translator apps. Breakfast is provided but we woke up late 😂😂 so the kitchen is closed already. But it’s okay tho because when we asked for extended check out, the boss kindly offer no further fee. We explore luoyi ancient city (5min walking), lijing gate (10min via DiDi) and yingtianmen (18min via DiDi). The room is very modern look and using smart system. The lock also using auto lock so no worries for break enter. The bed and pillow so soft we sleep soundly. There is auto lighting at the mirror in the bathroom which is very nice for makeup. There is small courtyard outside room which is very aesthetic. Overall nice environment and experience. Very recommended for foreigners like us.
