Excellent all staff are friendly. Also allowed me for an early checkin. The hotel is very central. Very clean. The only thing is you will hear all the cars passing. I think the hotel should do triple glazing. Overall 9/10

We loved it. Fabulous apartment/hotel room with everything we wanted including the well equipped mini kitchen. All the staff were friendly and helpful too. Location was great, within easy reach of the metro station and walking distance to central Athens. Will definitely book again!

The place is in a very convenient location. Facilities are a little old. Buffet is very good. I had a trouble with the card to enter to room and the receptionist imply I didn't know how to use it I had to go twice because of that it happen 3 times during my stay of 3 nights. The cards are obsolete if they said that those inactivate when electric devises such cellphones or earphones are near. But breakfast is very good.

Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The receptionist, Andreas, guided us very well, and his valuable advice was a great help. The rooftop restaurant was also beautiful, and the food there was excellent. We were served by Danaé, a wonderful and very helpful person. Of course, these compliments go out to all the staff at the establishment. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back!

It is definitely the best choice in Athens, offering comfort at a very reasonable price. What made our stay truly memorable was the outstanding staff: Mrs. Kalliopi (Front Desk Receptionist) – She warmly upgraded our room, recommended some of the best dining experiences in Athens, and even made reservations for us. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel so welcome. Ms. Irini Pasalidou (Housekeeping) – She kept our room spotless, replaced towels and toiletries promptly, and greeted us every morning with a smile. Her dedication, efficiency, and kindness made us feel right at home. Breakfast Team: Stavros & Marilena – Their smiles and attentive service brightened each morning. Stavros always served fresh orange juice as soon as we sat down, while Marilena ensured the buffet was well stocked and the tables were clean. Their dedication and hard work made breakfast a delightful experience. Because of these wonderful team members, our visit to Athens was exceptionally enjoyable and comfortable. The room was nice. The problem was that the contactless service staff couldn't find a staff member when something happened. Facilities: Good. The view from the top floor was great, with a view of the Acropolis. The subway is a 10-minute walk away.

Athens Airport has long been my gateway between Ireland and Israel, and Sofitel is the only real comfortable option for an overnight layover. The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby. The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort. The room was spotless and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. However, prices are steep. Normally it’s around €400 per night for two adults and a child, though I managed to book midweek for about half that. Still expensive, but I wanted comfort — and got it. The booking didn’t clearly confirm if an extra bed was included for my child, and neither Trip nor the hotel replied to my message, though we did get the bed in the end without extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the high price, and €30 per person felt excessive, so we skipped it. Also, food options are overpriced — €22 for a “Greek salad” that oddly came with ricotta. We ended up getting Burger King from the terminal, much better value. The indoor pool was clean but the water was colder than expected and the size modest. The shower had fluctuating warm water, a small annoyance but tolerable for one night. Overall: great convenience and comfort for an airport hotel, but pricing for food and extras feels unreasonable.

The room is not big, but it is quite comfortable for three people for a European hotel. It has a great location and is a few minutes' walk from Constitution Square. It has everything you need for breakfast. You can see the Acropolis from the restaurant. The service is also very friendly and the price-performance ratio is very high.

The most remarkable feature is the helpfulness of the front desk staff - nothing is to much trouble for them. Rooms are adequate with good air conditioning and WiFi. They do not look like the photos in the website or on trip advisor - no comfortable chair to relax in. I get the impression they believe if you want to relax that’s what you’re beds for. Disregard the photos - the room is basic but modern and workable. Loved my stay here. Accessible to metro and a nice restaurant nearby.
