We were given a basement room which is big but no view and no bath towels. After our request, they changed the room to a classic room per our booking. Location is near the port and metro station.

I stayed one night at Red Dave Athens Hotel and was really impressed overall. The rooftop jacuzzi and sun deck were a highlight—perfect for relaxing with a view after a long day. The room design had a modern, industrial feel that was both stylish and comfortable. Only small downside was the bathroom cleanliness, which could be slightly improved. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely stay again for the vibe and rooftop alone!

The hotel overall isn’t bad; it’s located right in front of the metro exit and is a 15-minute walk from the city center. However, considering what I paid, I expected more. The room was old, with no shutters and curtains that barely blocked the blue LED lights that stay on all night on the balcony to illuminate the hotel’s façade. The bathroom flooded with every shower because the drain was clogged, and water would come out of a second drain outside the shower box. Breakfast was fairly good. The rooftop pool is very nice, with a beautiful view of the Acropolis.

It is definitely the best choice in Athens, offering comfort at a very reasonable price. What made our stay truly memorable was the outstanding staff: Mrs. Kalliopi (Front Desk Receptionist) – She warmly upgraded our room, recommended some of the best dining experiences in Athens, and even made reservations for us. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel so welcome. Ms. Irini Pasalidou (Housekeeping) – She kept our room spotless, replaced towels and toiletries promptly, and greeted us every morning with a smile. Her dedication, efficiency, and kindness made us feel right at home. Breakfast Team: Stavros & Marilena – Their smiles and attentive service brightened each morning. Stavros always served fresh orange juice as soon as we sat down, while Marilena ensured the buffet was well stocked and the tables were clean. Their dedication and hard work made breakfast a delightful experience. Because of these wonderful team members, our visit to Athens was exceptionally enjoyable and comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel. I've never written a review before. Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile. Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements. And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out. Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower. One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. Top. 💯

The room is good. The problem is that the contactless service staff can't find the staff. Facilities: good. The top floor of the room is far away. Can see the Acropolis. The scenery is very good. 10 minutes walk with subway

Though the hotel may be a bit outdated, the room is spacious and clean. The reception staff is very helpful and the breakfast has many food choices.

We booked standard double room. All good but the AC works only when the window is closed. Because of this you can’t normally breathe at night. It is impossible to sleep with window opened because of the constant noise from the outside.

The location isn't very convenient, but the breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the views are great. The front desk staff was also super nice and even upgraded my room. The hallways are a bit confusing to navigate, and the layout feels a little strange, but the rooftop pool offers a view of the Acropolis.
