The front desk staff and everyone at the hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming. Either the hotel has excellent staff training, or people in Brisbane are just genuinely that friendly! The best part of my stay was definitely the staff. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and pleasant. The only downside was the construction happening outside the hotel, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, everything was great, and I really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel has great floor-to-ceiling window views. If you contact them in advance, they can even make up the sofa bed for you. There's a tram stop right downstairs, and it's only 500 meters to a large Woolworths supermarket, 800 meters to Coles, and 500 meters to the main bustling commercial street. The dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, and fridge are all fully equipped. The only downside is that there's no daily housekeeping, and most of the power outlets on the living room wall were broken.

Excellent location, lovely apartment, and great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended!

Good view, good service and good cleanliness. The breakfast was good though the menu remained the same over the days. The bathroom was still using hot and cold mixer taps. But otherwise

Location: Peaceful surroundings with beautiful views, and conveniently close to shopping centers, theme parks, and a variety of dining options. Room Facilities: Clean, spacious rooms with all the essentials, including refrigerators, microwaves, and comfortable beds. Great value for an affordable stay. Dining Experience: The on-site restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience with a scenic waterfront view. Guest Suggestion: Keep in mind that daily room service, towels, and toiletries come at an additional cost, even for extended stays. You get exactly what you pay for.

This is my fourth time staying at Crystalbrook Riley on the Esplanade when visiting Cairns. It's a king of both looks and value for money! **Location is superb**: Right on the Esplanade boardwalk, just a few minutes' walk to the marina and night market, super convenient for catching boats to the Great Barrier Reef. I love strolling along the boardwalk, it's so relaxing! **Full of resort vibes**: My favorite is the outdoor pool with an artificial beach – sunshine, clear water, and sand, perfect for photos! There's also a safe shallow area for kids. **Breakfast recommendation**: The breakfast is extensive. You absolutely have to try sitting in the outdoor dining area, enjoying a delicious breakfast while overlooking the ocean. It's the perfect way to start your day energetically. **Thoughtful details**: The rooms are modern and minimalist, and the bedding is clean and comfortable. Overall, this is a luxury hotel that blends modern design with a tropical flair, suitable for both couples on a romantic getaway and families on vacation. Next time I'm in Cairns, I'll definitely choose Crystalbrook Riley again!

Great thing is parking spot for our van that a little bit high but here we can park in front of the hotel not under. Everything is good except the wifi not strong enough.. on off on off.. It’s not new hotel but everything clean and great prices. Great location to walk to the beach and eating places

The location is great, just a 1-minute walk from the light rail station. I had to change rooms once because, even though the first room had lovely warm sunlight, it was too close to the road and very noisy. After communicating with the front desk through my program, I was moved to the other side. The front desk attendant was a very polite, handsome young Chinese-Indonesian man. The room was quite large and relatively clean, with daily housekeeping. There were also two complimentary bottles of water. However, the 'sea view room' wasn't really a sea view room; 80% of it didn't offer a sea view, and I could only glimpse 20% of the sea through a small gap. It's better than nothing, I suppose. But it was the cheapest hotel I stayed at during my 10 days in Queensland, and it included breakfast, so it was still a good value for money.

It was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site. Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in. Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in. Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think. I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist. Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!) I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house) So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one. Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit. We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have. If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

Got the room at a discounted rate hence I presumed i was allocated a low level which was facing the back(car park lot) which had absolutely no views at all. Front desk Service was attentive and friendly. Gym facility was decently stocked up with equipments however bear in mind, the facilities are shared with actual residents of the apartment as well. Loved the complimentary laundry on level3. Would definitely be back but would recommend staying on higher floors.
