It's actually an old hotel but with great maintenance i can say. It feels traditional and modern at the same time, with a lot of activity and places for photos, for example free cheongsam and hanfu free rent, free ticket to panmen area, kids playground, free fish feeding, free taichi experience, free public outdoor seating space facing the hotel facade and panmen scenic area. The service is also great and super friendly and helpful. There is also some washing and dryer machines. The only concern of this place is the lack of surroundings restaurant at break time (around 2-4 p.m if I'm not mistaken). If u want to have more food choice outside of the hotel, you can go to other tourist area by taxi
The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and close proximity to the subway station, making it easy to get to various attractions. The room facilities are complete, and the view of Xuanwu Lake from the room is beautiful. Breakfast is plentiful, and the service is attentive, detailed, and professional. The customer service manager contacted us in advance to discuss our needs and even gave us a free rooftop access pass and a Year of the Horse fridge magnet. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The location is fantastic, right in the city center with two malls nearby, making shopping incredibly convenient. It's just one subway stop to Sanyang Plaza, Wuxi's CBD, and not far from Nanchang Street and Huishan Ancient Town, which is super handy. Plus, the prices in Wuxi, especially for taxis, are quite reasonable. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the afternoon tea set was a real highlight; you can tell the hotel puts a lot of thought into things. Upon arrival, I received a small gift, which, though small, was a lovely touch and made me feel very welcome. The room itself was spacious, and being on the 20th floor, the night view from the window was absolutely stunning, with all the city lights twinkling. The only downside is for guests driving, as the parking situation isn't great due to its prime location. There are only 2 or 3 parking spots, and they're very cramped. Luckily, I arrived at noon and found an empty space, but leaving was tricky with limited turning room, definitely testing your driving skills! This wouldn't be an issue at all for guests arriving by high-speed train.

A big part of my enjoyment during this Nanjing trip was choosing to stay at Jinling Hotel. The front desk staff, upon hearing I was pregnant, specially arranged a room for me with convenient bathing facilities and more space, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. The hotel service also gets full marks; the butler promptly answered all my questions on WeChat. The environment is also perfect—clean and beautiful. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, featuring unique Nanjing specialties like old duck vermicelli soup and salted duck. Lastly, I have to mention how convenient the hotel's location is. All kinds of food deliveries arrived super fast, and the robot delivered items to my room very promptly. It's only a 5-minute walk to the subway station. If I have the chance to visit Nanjing again, Jinling Hotel will definitely be my first choice!

Location: This hotel is a landmark in Xuzhou, right in the city center. It's incredibly convenient for visiting the Confucius Temple and Pengcheng No. 1, and also close to the 1818 Night Market. You can even see these attractions from the hotel rooms. Getting to the subway station across the street requires a bit of a walk around to the traffic light, so we mostly took taxis, though you can also walk to Hubu Mountain and Huilongwo, exploring all the way to the museum and Yunlong Mountain.
Facilities: There's a swimming pool, but we didn't use it.
Cleanliness: Tidy.
Service: I was initially worried that the front desk being on the 42nd floor would be inconvenient, but there's a dedicated elevator to go up, so it didn't feel like an issue at all.

The room was clean and the environment was pleasant, making for a very comfortable stay. Getting around was super convenient, with a snack street right downstairs. I had planned to grab some local specialties for breakfast, but my little one insisted on eating at the hotel. When I asked the front desk if I could just book breakfast for one child, the lady at the front desk generously gave us a complimentary breakfast voucher. The service was thoughtful and attentive. Next time I'm in Suzhou, I won't have to stress about choosing a hotel—Andu is definitely the way to go!

The Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou boasts an unbeatable location, right in the heart of the Wenchang Pavilion commercial district, close to bustling shopping areas and many famous historical sites. I stayed here during the Chinese New Year (Year of the Horse), and the lobby's festive decorations were elegant and joyful, creating a wonderful holiday atmosphere. It was incredibly convenient for going out to shop and explore.
Check-in at the front desk was efficient and smooth. The guest room was spacious and bright, with a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window offering expansive views of Yangzhou's city skyline and the distant canal scenery. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The hotel's gym was well-equipped, and I maintained my regular fitness routine every day during my stay.
Particularly noteworthy was the hotel's dining. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including classic Yangzhou dim sum, as well as a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, satisfying the diverse tastes of a family trip. The service team was well-trained; whether it was inquiries at the front desk or service in the restaurant, they all demonstrated the professionalism and enthusiasm expected of a five-star hotel.
Overall, this was a very satisfying stay. From the facilities and dining quality to the service level, the hotel was impeccable. It successfully blended the convenience of a business trip with the comfort of a vacation, making it an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Yangzhou.
Towards the end of my holiday, I chose the tallest hotel in Nanjing. The hotel provided a room on the 67th floor with a view of Xuanwu Lake and Zijin Mountain. The most striking feature inside was the large circular bathtub.
Before this, I had already traveled to Shanghai during my third year of junior high school, dealing with work all the way, and was quite tired. For dinner and breakfast, I opted to dine at the hotel. Dinner was at the Summit restaurant on the 76th-77th floors, mainly featuring Huaiyang and fusion cuisine. It wasn't as salty as typical Nanjing dishes, and the cold dish with scampi was a highlight. The restaurant's main hall faces south towards Xinjiekou. Breakfast was at the coffee bar on the 45th floor, available from 9 AM to 7 PM. You could access the observation deck with your room card, which offered views to the north: Zijin Mountain, Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Lake, and the TV tower. The duck blood vermicelli soup and baked flatbread were very Nanjing in the breakfast spread, and the rest was typical InterContinental – very rich and varied. My only minor gripe was that the fruit station didn't have the cucumber sticks and juice often found at the Shanghai InterContinental; I had to get a bowl of cucumber slices from the salad bar.
I visited the independently operated heated pool and gym after dinner, but it was quite crowded due to Chinese New Year, so it wasn't particularly enjoyable. I then explored the mall next door, which was pretty much as described by Nanjing local media. The only new development is that Sunrise Duty Free is setting up shop on the first floor and is currently under renovation.
In a nutshell, my review of the hotel is: Majestic and awe-inspiring!
Facilities: Everything you could need.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: A unique experience. Even with a strong gale outside at night, there was no howling sound once the ventilation windows were sealed. However, before 9 PM, you could hear outdoor loudspeakers from the nearby park or square, which was unavoidable – the entire city acts like a giant amplifier.
Service: Warm and thoughtful, with appropriate boundaries, which I personally find more important.

My kid wanted to visit the Dinosaur Park and also have a pool. After checking out various hotels in Changzhou, the Sheraton Changzhou Fulihui stood out as offering the best value for money. We booked a fantastic two-night package deal for 999 RMB, which even included a complimentary welcome fruit platter. It was truly an incredible deal!
The hotel is conveniently located right next to Wanda Plaza, making dining and catching movies incredibly easy. While the soundproofing wasn't perfect, it was completely acceptable given the price point.
My only minor suggestion would be if the breakfast spread could be a bit more extensive; that would make it even better!

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!
DDingjinmaiLocated on Pingjiang Road Pedestrian Street, it's bustling with tourists in the evenings, making it convenient for sightseeing and listening to storytelling. There's a subway station and a snack street nearby. In the early morning, Pingjiang Road is very quiet, and you can enjoy the beautiful morning scenery just by opening your window. Lion Grove Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Suzhou Museum are all nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to various attractions like Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road, and also conveniently close to the subway station. The front desk staff, especially one young man, was very enthusiastic and helped with our luggage. They also thoughtfully provided tips for dining, entertainment, and local travel. There's no elevator, which might be inconvenient for older guests. The shower room is a bit small, and the room facilities are a bit dated. It's lively during the day due to its roadside location but quiet at night. Overall, it's a good choice for a short 1-2 day stay. Recommended.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is elegantly decorated, the rooms are warm and comfortable, and the bedding is soft and clean. The service staff is enthusiastic, professional and meticulous. The food is rich and delicious, the transportation is convenient, and the overall experience exceeds expectations. I highly recommend it!
GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

CCicixiI forgot to take pictures when I entered the room. Well, how should I put it? It was indeed quite busy during the Chinese New Year, so there was no 'leisurely drink time' (referring to a specific hotel service/amenity), and I didn't feel any 'butler service'. The souvenir gift was an Artemisia argyi moxa stick hammer and a travel-sized hotel shower gel. The room itself was okay, but perhaps because of the hot spring bath, there was a certain smell in the room. I'd suggest all rooms have windows. The breakfast service was pretty good though.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is truly fantastic, right next to a subway station. Even without the subway, transportation is incredibly convenient, making it perfect for friends visiting Suzhou. The rooms are spacious and new, and since it's the off-season, the price is great, offering excellent value for money.
The hotel is close to everything. We went to Pingjiang Road, Guanqian Street, and Shantang Street every day, and a taxi ride was usually around 10 yuan, which was super convenient.
The food on the first floor is also very affordable. Guests even get a 20% discount, making the prices comparable to outside. A 20-yuan salted pork and vegetable rice dish is enough for three people! (Pictures available to prove it)
This trip to Suzhou also had a pleasant surprise—there are so many Qipao shops! The styles are beautiful and not expensive, mostly 100-200 or 300-400 yuan. Prices are clearly marked, so you can buy with complete peace of mind!
