The rooms were clean and tidy. The front desk staff and housekeeping were incredibly warm and attentive, patiently answering all our questions. Before our arrival, they noted we were traveling with family and made sure to arrange our rooms as close together as possible. Seeing that we had children, they thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes and slippers. Upon check-out, they even gave us a small gift of berry tea. From booking to check-in and departure, we truly experienced the Hampton by Hilton's high level of management and professional service from their staff. It's a fantastic hotel, and I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

The owner was fully committed for us to have the best experience in Fenghuang city. We were contacted 2 days before our arrival for a pick-up from the railway station. Everything went so smoothly. I was speechless regarding the quality of the service. It was also relieving as I travelled with my parents who are not that young anymore. We had the same shuttle service for our way back to the station. The hôtel also helped us book a guided tour to visit the surrounding. We are not just receiving a room in this hotel. We received much more. We were really grateful for your kindness.

Five-star rating | Sheraton Changde Stay Experience Beyond satisfied! The front desk service was warm and efficient, making for a seamless check-in. The room was spacious and tidy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering lake views, and the Sweet Sleeper bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, and the Changde rice noodles were absolutely amazing. The 24-hour gym and pool facilities were complete, offering a fantastic experience. The location is close to Wanda Plaza, making travel and dining super convenient. I'll definitely come again!

The hotel's environment, cleanliness, and service were all excellent! I had scheduled a shuttle to the high-speed rail station for 1:30 PM the next day, but due to a slight delay returning from Tianmen Mountain, I informed the staff that I would need to leave at 1:50 PM. They were all very accommodating and helpful. The suite was spacious and had a great view. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Zhangjiajie!

What truly stood out during this stay was the thoughtful care from our service manager. Before we even arrived, she sent detailed directions and location info, even marking landmarks because she was worried we might get lost. She patiently answered all our questions during our communication, never once being perfunctory. The hotel facilities are very new, the room was spotless, the bathroom had no odors, and the public areas were clean and bright. For this price, the environment and service offer incredible value for money. When checking out, I happened to catch her on duty. She smiled, said goodbye, and even reminded me to watch my luggage, which instantly gave me a feeling of warmth, like family. I've stayed in many hotels, and such meticulous and considerate service is truly rare. I highly recommend it; I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Staying here is like staying at a friends house. It might not be superclean, and the breakfast might not be superexciting, but you are só welcome. The staff is the most wonderful you'll ever meet on your travels, they help you set routes in the parc (listen to them, they know all the tricks) and try to make your exploring perfect. The hotel has more of a ”hostel” vibe, then a ”hotel” vibe, but for us, that was a big plus. You can wash your clothes after a long day exploring the mountaintrails, your bed is supercomfy, the shower is hot and you get a clean towel everyday. The pool is just nice to see, in the winter.. probably nobody swims in it. But yes, beautiful. There is a terrifying glass rooftop terrace, might (for some) also be terrific, but i stayed on my own level, which was cozy and perfect. Would recommend this place if you like hostels, but also the benefits of a private room, want to explore the national forest and caves, and be able to wash and dry your clothes for your next day adventure.

This hotel was wonderful. Room was fantastic and mostly the staff was amazing! I raise my hat to Wu and Gu who assisted me during all my stay providing me connections to my tours and all surrounding communities. Since the weather was at the greatest for sightseeing; I’ll definitely have to comeback to visit again and this hotel would be again one of my first choice.🥰🙏 thank you again for this great experience.

This is a very good hotel, and I recommend it. The service is top-notch, and the rooms are very pleasant and spacious. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff is very polite. I would like to express my gratitude to the administrator, Kelly. After staying at this hotel, we booked two more hotels in other cities during the same trip.

Honestly, the room was nice but was very noisy with the plane flew over occasionally during midnight. The hotel 3rd floor restaurants were not operating at night so THEY TURNED OFF THE ENTIRE FLOOR LIGHTS. Once you exit the lift, it’s pitch dark… They also turned off the lights for those conference rooms and corridors next to the washing machine areas at my room floor… It was so horrifying. Told the front desk, they said they will turn it on but nope. Nothing was done. While no other users but only our clothes were on self service washing, we returned within 10 mins after the washing timer completed. Shockingly noticed our clothes have started drying on incorrect setting. (We needed cold temp, slow spinning). It was the cleaner who “helped” us. It may be out of good wills but I personally find it inappropriate since no permissions were granted to touch or move our belongings.. The butler lady who contacted me through WeChat were also quite pushy on getting me to buy the tour tickets from her. She will keep reminding me to quickly make decisions on the ticket purchase… Intentions were questionable as my other hotel butler did not keep insisting. Nonetheless, she was still very helpful and responsive. When we arrived, there were no services and the front desk gave me the “you should have known how the hotel works” kind of look and instructed me with 2 lines:“ Breakfast at level 3, washing machine at level 5.”
