The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a mini-fridge and a projector. The best part about this guesthouse is its environment. Waking up in the morning, with mist shrouding the trees, you can really feel that picturesque 'purple smoke rising from the forest' vibe, and some rooms even offer mountain views right from the window. The owner's service was exceptional; they kindly dropped us off at the central gate in the morning and picked us up within minutes of calling in the evening. The guesthouse is very close to Zhangjiajie's central gate, which is super convenient for exploring Zhangjiajie without backtracking. If you have good stamina, you can even visit Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, and Tianzi Mountain all in one day. Although the guesthouse breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it was satisfying. The stir-fries had a home-cooked taste, light and delicious, and all the vegetables were home-grown. When we left, the lovely owner even personally picked some cucumbers for me to snack on during my journey – so thoughtful! Oh, I almost forgot, the guesthouse also offers farm-style picking activities. I'd love to come back during the off-season next time and stay for a few days, slowly enjoying some tea and relaxing!

Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this.

The standard room I booked was the largest I've ever stayed in at a Ji Hotel. It had a separate dressing area, a work area large enough for three people to sit in, a large TV, and was quiet, clean, and new – a very comfortable stay. It's only a 10-minute walk to the East Gate of Yuelu Mountain, perfect for those taking the route of entering from the South Gate and exiting from the East Gate. Exiting from the East Gate allows you to easily return to the hotel.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right across the underpass from Exit of Xiangjiang Middle Road Station on Metro Line 2. Staying on the 26th floor offered an expansive view, and the room was spacious and comfortable with a small Chinese-style tea table. The breakfast featured a wide variety of options, including four different flavors of ice cream. The staff were polite, warm, and friendly. It's about a 15-minute walk to IFS and just 5 minutes to Taiping Old Street, making it super convenient for exploring and trying local food along the way. Highly recommended!

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie! We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival. The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

They provide a full pick-up and drop-off service, so whether you're heading to the scenic area or the station, you don't have to worry about hailing a cab, which saves so much hassle. Staying here, you can truly unwind after a day of hiking and fully immerse yourself in the stunning landscape of Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended!

The software is good, but the hardware is a bit outdated. For example, some areas have peeling or worn paint on the wall corners. However, the service is impeccable. Whether it's the front desk staff or the aunties and uncles taking breakfast orders, everyone was lovely. The WeChat concierge was also very attentive, and their responses were quick and timely – truly excellent! During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the lobby even offered snacks/mooncake tasting in the afternoon. While it's a small gesture, I personally found it a delightful touch. It felt like they genuinely cared about planning the guests' day as if it were their own. Finally, the complimentary luggage delivery service was fantastic and freed up our afternoon itinerary choices. Following the hotel staff's guidance, we directly ordered from 'Golden Assistant' and easily picked up our checked luggage at Changsha South by following the diagram. Very professional.

The guesthouse itself was quiet and peaceful, with excellent natural light and ventilation. It was fully furnished with all the necessary appliances, making daily life very easy. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and prompt replies to any questions. The location is excellent, close to dining and shopping, with complete amenities nearby. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it felt as comfortable as home. This will be my first choice for accommodation whenever I'm in the area again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling.

Location: Just over a kilometer from the East Gate of the Forest Park, a three to four-minute taxi ride away. Room Facilities: Newly renovated with smart facilities throughout. There's a robot that can deliver meals, and the TV supports screen mirroring. The only minor flaw I could find was a slight creaking sound when opening the room door; otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect. Service Attitude: Everyone I met at this hotel was incredibly friendly! Upon arrival, the front desk lady explained how to best explore the Forest Park. In the evening, I mentioned to one of the hotel staff that I wanted to try berry tea, and without hesitation, he boiled water and made a cup for each of us. The auntie making wontons at breakfast even made me four specially, saying it symbolized prosperity. We booked a shuttle to Zhangjiajie West Station, and the driver arrived punctually and waited downstairs; he was very polite, and the business car was very comfortable. Hotel Features: What I loved most about this hotel was its rooftop sky garden. The garden houses over a dozen Ragdoll cats, which are incredibly cute and friendly. I made sure to pet them every day, and they were what I missed most when leaving. Overall, I absolutely loved it and would definitely come back given the chance!
