The Bukit Panjang LRT line is a 7.6-kilometre automated guideway transit line in Bukit Panjang, Singapore. It is the first LRT line constructed in Singapore, having opened on November 6, 1999, by then Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan.
The line is currently the only LRT line operated by SMRT Trains and it serves 13 stations in the neighbourhood of Bukit Panjang and parts of Choa Chu Kang in the north-west of the country.
The 13 stations includes Bukit Panjang, Senja, Jelapang, Pending, Petir, Phoenix, Bukit Panjang, Segar, Fajar, Bangkit, Pending, Petir, and Jelebu.
The Bukit Panjang LRT line provides convenient transportation for residents in the Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang towns, connecting them to other parts of Singapore via the North-South and Downtown Lines.
