AAbbyFirst off, let's talk about the front desk. From the moment I checked in, the service was excellent. I mentioned it was my first time staying here, and the front desk staff immediately escorted me to my room to explain all the amenities. First impressions, full marks!
The room itself was lovely, with a thoughtful tent setup. The mat inside the tent was very comfortable, and the bedding and pillows were great. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh, and the complimentary mini-snacks and drinks were plentiful.
All the toiletries, including those for children, were excellent.
Now, for the service. On our first night, there was some noise around midnight. Staff were sent to investigate immediately. It seemed to be external noise, possibly from road construction, but the hotel's proactive response was truly commendable. They arranged a room change for us the next day. Although it did slightly disrupt our plans, their willingness to resolve the issue was top-notch, and we'll definitely stay here again.
Overall, if you're traveling with kids, this hotel is a great choice for its environment, facilities, and service. Any request made to the front desk is promptly handled by staff.
One minor point is the location. If you visit during a period with a lot of rain, it's not as convenient as the Venetian or Londoner areas since it's not interconnected. On rainy days, you're limited to indoor hotel facilities like the pool, as outdoor ones are closed. There are also fewer shops downstairs, making it hard to pass the time. We happened to be there during a typhoon, which made spending a few days in the hotel a bit dull. However, on good weather days, it's very convenient to walk to places or take a taxi.
Be sure to allow extra time for the hotel's shuttle to the airport, as it makes several stops and isn't direct.
Having a Don Quijote on the first floor is super convenient for grabbing snacks and other small items.
