The hotel is very quiet. If you are traveling by car, this hotel is a great choice. It is only 10 minutes away from Princeton University. The hotel environment is very good, and the gym and swimming pool are all available. The view outside the window is also great!
I extended my stay at this hotel as the remodeling of the hotel didn't create any issue to me, for the price I paid, no complain for what I got, so if my recommendation is book it, if the price is right, no hidden surprises, nothing fancy, but a night of descent sleep....
This hotel, located just opposite Lower Manhattan, is wonderfully quiet and spacious. It was particularly appealing to us as we were a group of three with a lot of luggage, and New York City hotels are generally known for being small, so we specifically chose this Hyatt. Right next to the hotel entrance is a PATH station, making it incredibly convenient to get into New York – it's just one stop to the newest transportation hub, shaped like a white dove, which is the World Trade Center area. The hotel itself is also very new, and waking up every day to views of the New York skyline was a real luxury. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to New York.
Hygienic: Objectively speaking, the room is very clean, there is no obvious smell and stains, etc., the front desk brother is also very cold and asked him for quilts and tableware to solve it quickly.
Environment: But I don't know if it is because it is on the first floor. The especially wet carpets are semi-wet. The quilt is also moist. The sound insulation is particularly poor. There are requirements for sound insulation.
The staff's demeanor was somewhat unfriendly. Security personnel visited our door, requesting that we minimize noise, even though we were not loud to begin with. We perceived that staff members were unjustly picking on us and attempting to find reasons for additional charges. Unfortunately, racial bias seemed to be a contributing factor.
The location is great, just a six or seven minute walk to the main entrance of Princeton. The hotel is decorated in an antique style and is very cultural. The first floor of the hotel is together with a restaurant. When I first entered, I was a little suspicious that I had come to the wrong place.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The shuttle bus to the airport was absolutely convenient to get to the airport. Overall, I have had pleasant experience while staying at this hotel.
Although the decoration is a bit old, the room is OK, parking is also convenient, the surrounding environment is very good, and it is very convenient to Princeton University. It can be seen that many people come here to attend meetings or something. The breakfast is a la carte, which is not bad.

GGuest UserI stayed at this location twice during my trip & had different experiences based on the person at the front desk. The hotel has a shuttle but it only runs certain hours; therefore, if your flight is late and the front desk doesn’t care, you are left stranded in finding a way to the hotel. The first person rounded up a shuttle for pick up, the second person said I just needed to find a way there (which was very expensive).
The breakfast was hot coffee and bags of tea & hot water, instant packs of oatmeal and grits (when not hoarded by other guests), individually packaged chocolate & plain muffins, and granola bars. It’s something, but definitely not my first choice.
This place is not the best nor the worst so if you want a definite shuttle, choose a closer location.
CCRodOk so first let me just say for the price we paid on the days we went. It wasn't horrible. I would go back BUT YMMV so this was my experience.
Location was great. Right on the boardwalk and an easy walk to Hard Rock when we went to the concert.
Service was meh. The only time I had a friendly anyone in the establishment was the woman who checked us out. Everyone else that we interacted with were either disinterested or perfunctory. No help on where to find our rooms, no help on any services offered. We didn't even get the annoying (did you want to sign up for our card?) that you get in ****** hotels. I guess that was a plus.
From my understanding we were on the ”older side” of the establishment. But regardless, staying on an entire floor that says non smoking it smelled of smoke. both cigarettes and ****. I don't care if you do either but I do care to smell either in my room or right outside my door (defeats the whole purpose of non smoking). Everything is dated which is whatever. but the blinds didn't work the coffee maker wire was too short for the ”dresser” so you had to keep moving it to the nightstand to use it. The room itself was relatively clean although the back of the nightstands hadn't been touched in a long time with all that accumulation of dust. Its design is just...weird. like so much random open area. I guess you can dance there lol. The ”dresser” didn't have drawers it had...like cubby holes. We didn't use them seemed pointless. I didn't even bother with the tv it was too far away and faced away from any sitting area (again weird layout).
The ****** itself was ok. Nothing crazy although I did like that rotating bar they had. But again. EVERYWHERE just reeked of smoke. To use a comparison, at Hard Rock when you were on the ****** side sure people smoked there (i get it) but the hotel side of things smelled clean refreshing and airy.
In the end, manage expectations and you'll be fine. If you are a smoker I am sure you will be fine too. If all you plan to do is sleep there its fine (although we were on the 7th floor and could still hear the music bumping below but the music was good so w/e lol) It works, again its not horrible. Its definitely 2.5-3 star range.
Wwolfsvane**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | A Truly Exceptional Stay — Beyond Expectations!**
From the moment we arrived at \[Hotel Name], everything was pure perfection. The check-in process was seamless and welcoming — we were greeted with a smile, a refreshing welcome drink, and helpful staff who made us feel at home instantly.
**Room:**
Our room was spotless, modern, and elegantly designed, with a breathtaking view of the city skyline/ocean/mountains (customize as needed). The bed was heavenly — I honestly had the best sleep I’ve had in months. The daily housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and small details like the nightly turndown service and complimentary bottled water made a big difference.
**Amenities:**
The infinity pool was a highlight — clean, relaxing, and never too crowded. The gym was well-equipped, and the spa treatments were heavenly. We also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and convenient business center.
**Dining:**
Breakfast was a daily treat! The buffet had everything from fresh tropical fruits and artisan pastries to made-to-order omelets and local delicacies. We dined twice at the in-house restaurant, and both meals were five-star quality — beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful.
**Service:**
What really sets \[Hotel Name] apart is the **exceptional service**. Every staff member we encountered — from the concierge to housekeeping — went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Special shoutout to \[Staff Name, if applicable] for their kindness and helpful local tips!
**Location:**
Perfectly located near top attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, yet still quiet enough for a restful sleep. It felt like the best of both worlds.
**Final Thoughts:**
I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but \[Hotel Name] genuinely stood out. Whether you’re visiting for business, romance, or a family getaway, this hotel offers outstanding value, comfort, and luxury. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again — in fact, I can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserThe staff was friendly and the room was clean. The shuttle bus to the airport was absolutely convenient to get to the airport. Overall, I have had pleasant experience while staying at this hotel.
EEsan&EdwardThis hotel feels a bit like an old car, but it's a decent option for a layover near Newark Airport. They offer an airport shuttle, though it doesn't run very frequently. The breakfast was particularly bad, and the plates looked like they weren't even washed properly. I even overheard a Chinese gentleman in the restaurant constantly complaining about it.
CcatsanddogsThe hotel is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle bus service. For pickups, it runs approximately every half hour, so there was a bit of a wait. For departures, it's available 24/7, every 15 minutes, dropping off at different terminals. This is very convenient for guests catching early flights or those on a layover.
EEndlesssideThe location is still very convenient, and the facilities are okay. It is suitable for families traveling with children. It has a microwave and a refrigerator, which is very convenient for hot food.
JJulia JohannaThe proximity to the airport is ideal. There's a large mall right next door, which is within walking distance. The front desk staff were rather unfriendly and seemed uninterested. The airport shuttle is advertised to run every 30 minutes. However, at 4:45 AM, we had to wait for over 20 minutes. After our checkout, the man at the front desk had disappeared and didn't reappear. Another woman, who was also waiting for the shuttle, ended up calling a taxi because she couldn't ask anyone at the reception when or if it would arrive. The shuttle driver was also very unfriendly and didn't help with loading our luggage. Overall, the service was far from customer-friendly. What a shame.
JJennyyoAlthough the price comparison and hygiene and service are very disappointing, it's good to spend a day. There are no disposable items such as slippers or toothbrushes, so
