I stayed in a standard twin room. The room was clean, the amenities were adequate, and there was a table and chair next to the bed, as well as a large mirror, so I was able to stay comfortably. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and I was very happy. The hotel staff were also kind, and were happy to accept my family's breakfast order, as they had stayed at another hotel at short notice, so we were able to all enjoy a delicious breakfast together. I am very grateful. Thank you very much.

The best thing about this hotel is its incredible location, just a minute's walk from the station. They offer a pillow selection, but it's first-come, first-served, so you need to grab one right after check-in, or they'll be gone. The public bath is compact but very clean, and I really enjoyed the open-air bath and sauna – perfect for warming up and relaxing after a cold day. It was also great to be able to do laundry while I was enjoying the bath. The complimentary ramen noodles in the evening were delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Fukui.

Good location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space. The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.

Upon entering, staff will help you wipe your luggage. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hairdryers in the large public bath are top-of-the-line Refa salon-grade. You can even have the bath private at 11 PM. Complimentary buckwheat noodles are served at 9:00 PM (or 9:30 PM?), which is a great deal for dinner if you pair it with some supermarket fried chicken you bought yourself. It's only a 5-minute walk from the cherry blossom viewing spot, Ashiwagawa Yukibashi. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have had a 2-night stay at this Hotel Keifuku Fukui Ekimae Room #707 from 11 to 13 October 2025. The Hotel is just a 1-minute walk away from the Fukui Station. Its reception is small, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor behind the Hotel. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 2 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in simple English. As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with eateries are within walking distance. The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is very small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the very small bathroom (the WC is right next to the bathroom room) - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower. We believe the Hotel is quite old as the general fittings and fixtures are very dated, but it is clean and well maintained. At SGD S$107 per night, we find it not value for money at all, and, if the rate is remained the same or gets higher, we will choose to stay else where if we travel to Fukui again.

This time I ordered breakfast and dinner, so it was perfect. Dinner is buffet, good quality, especially beef and sweet shrimp. If you want to eat hot pot, just make up some money. The buffet ticket can cost about four thousand. It also includes tickets for the primary ice and snow park. I didn't know when I made the reservation. I discussed with the front desk to change to a cable car ticket. Originally, the cable car ticket for 3,700 a day was changed to two thousand and five. The front desk sold 800 tickets for the primary stage, which was worth twelve thousand. It's worth it

This hotel locates next to the JR Fukui station, which is quite important because the required public transportation for tourists are all start from here, including the bus, JR, and local railway. However, you can tell this hotel is quite old and only has refrained limited part such as the wall paper, which does not mean much to me. The air condition is not cooling, the toilet flush leaks frequently, these points are not often seen for a hotel in Japan. The hotel offer free breakfast like some of the business hotel.

Always love staying at Dormy inn for their free onsen, free yakult, free ice-cream and especially free ramen during the night time from 2130 to 2300. The room is clean, quiet and spacious with a seating area. Location is just nice, about 600m walk from JR station, 500m walk to the Kehi -Jingu Shrine, 3.3 km walk to the Nihonkai Sakana fish market. Most of the shops in the fish market closed at around 4.30 pm. A supermarket is just located at the opposite side, can get some offered items after 5 pm. Get lots of offered food from the supermarket for the breakfast. So I don't try their breakfast. Will definitely stay in this hotel if I return to Tsuruga again.

The room is very big! The view from the 10th floor overlooks the rice fields and distant mountains, which is very healing! The hot springs are also great! The morning and evening buffets are rich and have Japanese characteristics. There are free wines (red and white wine, whiskey, Japanese sake, beer, etc.) for dinner. During afternoon tea time, the lobby bar has hot spring eggs, various drinks and delicious draft beer 🍺. The most commendable thing is the service attitude and service quality of the hotel staff. The whole state is very energetic and enthusiastic 😄 It seems that the boss also personally carries luggage and drives to pick up hotel guests. It is a good travel experience!

GGuest UserI used it to go to Sundome for LIVE. In terms of location, it's far from the station, so it's not convenient, but if you go by car, there's no problem, there's plenty of free parking, and there's a lot of supermarkets, home centers, Don Quixote, and restaurants nearby, so it's convenient. is! The room was clean and it was nice to be able to just check in when I went to put my luggage first. The bed was big and it was great. In addition, it is hotel which we want to use by all means.

CcarolienNever felt more welcome and cared for during my trip than in this hotel. Everybody from front to restaurant was kind, helpfull and forgiving of mistakes. The room is so beautifull, the smell of the tatami is so good. The things in the room are clearly chosen and cared for with love. And the view, well you will never get tired of looking out over the coastline with the boats going in and out and people fishing from the pier. The diner was a perfect display of culinary skill and in line with the season. It was a feast for the eye as well as the mouth. Breakfast was perfect as well. Same as above. The common bath was also just right, if you are early enough you can look at the sea while enjoing it. Thank you everybody, it could not have been better.

GGuest UserIt's super close to the station, making it convenient for dinner and convenience stores! ❗ While waiting in line for breakfast, the staff greeted me warmly and even helped me with serving and clearing away. 🎵 I'm very satisfied. I'd like to use this service again the next time I visit Fukui.

DDVS-SHLocation, please note! From JR Awara Onsen, a taxi costs about 2,000 yen, and it takes about 6 minutes to arrive directly. For the return journey, you can reserve the hotel shuttle bus at 9.30, and it will be delivered to the station for free. Many guides write that it is the closest to the ”Awara Onsen Tang Street” station, and it is indeed a 3-minute walk from the hotel. But there are very few slow trains, so it is not recommended. Don't get me wrong, the transfer between the two needs to be at Fukui Station, a V-shape, which is a waste of time. There are 🈚️ convenience stores around the hotel, but there is a big local supermarket. The guest room is just tatami. The next day's breakfast is a set meal, which is very rich. The weather will say hello to your meal time, from 7:00 to 8.30, every half an hour, so you can't sleep late. There is a temporary market in the hotel lobby, local aquatic products, which are very special highlights.

LLam WYThe hotel check-in was originally scheduled for 6 PM at the latest, but due to transportation issues, I arrived almost 20 minutes late. I informed the hotel while on the way, so there were no problems. The room was clean, but the bathroom and toilet were far apart, and the toilet sink only provided fresh water, without hand soap. The two meals included in the one-night stay were adequate. I only went to the open-air hot spring, which wasn't particularly surprising; it was just a large indoor public bath.
