Excellent hotel for a stay in Fenghuang ! It is possible to profit from all attractions of the town while not being too strongly exposed to the noises of bars (relatively), in addition it is stylish and even tea is offered so you can make it on the terrace. We liked the experience.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right across from the shuttle bus stop to the mountain gate and the cable car down the mountain. There's also a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right outside, and a Ba Wang Cha Ji (another tea shop) and McDonald's not far away. I drove here, and the hotel offers free parking, both above ground and underground. You just need to scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. The staff are professional and enthusiastic. The front desk even offers free shared hiking poles and fans for guests to take, and there's complimentary lemonade and tea in the lobby. If you order takeout, a robot can deliver it to your room. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The accommodations were fantastic; the front desk staff even upgraded my room for free. Hilton's brand truly lives up to its reputation, and there were many international guests. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, with a rich variety, and the quality was excellent. A staff member even kindly reminded me to eat a good breakfast before heading up the mountain! It was a truly wonderful stay.

I don’t really have much pictures, but the hotel was very clean, the air con and everything else was working perfectly fine. The best thing about this hotel was how kind and extremely helpful the staff were, held my luggage, came back to tell them I’ll take a little longer and eating nearby. They gave me a portable charger. And they planned a full itinerary to enable me to complete Grand Canyon Park, Tienmanshan, and the National Forest park in 2 days. Only thing to note, is that the rooms usually have 2 beds minimum so it’s perfect for groups.

The hotel facilities are complete, and the location is excellent, with a subway station right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the attractions. The service is also very attentive; the staff at the front desk are all super friendly and enthusiastic. Their breakfast is served until 11:00 AM, which is fantastic. In the evening, you can also enjoy cocktails at the 11th-floor front desk, and there's an open-air bar on the rooftop, making it perfect for young people. The hotel's hygiene is impeccable, and every staff member is incredibly polite. I will definitely choose them again next time I visit Changsha! Highly recommended.

This hotel was truly excellent, and probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in with regard to the quality of the rooms, and especially the quality of the service provided. The building: reception, interior, balcony, and rooms themselves, are all extremely modern, well maintained, and have lots of technology such as automatic curtains, voice control (in Chinese only), large televisions, big windows, EXCELLENT air conditioning, robot food delivery, in-room alarms, electronic light controls, modern electric toilets, and even more that I won't list here.
The hotel also has on-site free laundry service (self-service but the detergent is provided), gym, and a very good breakfast. The location of the hotel is very good, and we found it convenient for everything we wanted to do, including being only a short walk (or Didi) from the city centre, and only 10 minutes walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car.
However, the true stand out of our stay was the service. It was my birthday during the stay, and the hotel decorated the room with balloons, provided a cake, happy birthday lettering in Chinese, and made sure that the surprise was kept from me until my partner arrived to be there with me to receive it. I would like to especially thank Xiao Li for helping to arrange everything during our stay, and all of the staff that were involved in our care. The service was truly outstanding and far beyond what I have received at five star hotels in the past. They were quick to reply to any WeChat message and no request was inconvenient for them. We really felt looked after.
We booked the mini-suite and this room was incredible. Extremely spacious, with two toilets, a living room, a bedroom, a hallway, a LARGE amount of storage space and cupboards, two televisions, a bath, a shower, a fridge, and three sinks for washing. This was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in and we were so sad to leave. There was no smell of smoke in the hotel at any point.
Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so special.

Beautiful, modern hotel with very comfortable rooms. The rooms weren't very soundproofed though. Excellent location, only 10-12 minutes drive away from East Gate entry to the Zhangjiajie National Park. Staff was very helpful, our butler Clare assisted with organising activities in the area. The breakfast was okay, could be slightly better quality.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed, which made us feel comfortable right away. The breakfast was also very good, and overall the hotel offers great value for the money.
The location was convenient as well — about a 15–20 minute walk to the cable car for Mount Tianmen, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it very easy to get around and find everything we needed.
What stood out the most, though, was the kindness of the reception staff. When we lost one of our phones on the street, the girls at the front desk went above and beyond to help us by speaking in Chinese with a stranger who had found it. Their help and care made a stressful situation so much easier, and we are truly grateful for their support.

The room was great, and our stay was fantastic. As soon as we arrived, the lady at check-in helped us plan our itinerary for the next few days, tailoring it perfectly to our schedule. There's an elevator, but she still helped us with our luggage and explained everything we needed to know about the room. The room itself was spacious with excellent natural light and fully equipped with smart home features. The hot water was consistent and strong, which was perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day. The air conditioning also worked great, was quiet, and started quickly. If you book in advance, you can contact the owner, as they offer cheaper tickets than online. The service was thoughtful, the environment comfortable, the decor cozy, and the facilities complete. All in all, highly recommended!

This hotel is worth every cent, the rooms are clean and tidy with beautiful decor. It is nicely located close to the entrance of the town and provides an amazing view to the waterfalls. I would totally recommend a visit to this place; The best part was how helpful and attentive the staff is providing ease to schedule transport to and fro the station, notes about the town and helping carry all the luggage

Amazing stay with outstanding hospitality.
We had a wonderful experience at Manyuan Resort Hotel. The service was truly excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Everyone was very helpful, from planning our itinerary to helping us book all the tickets we needed. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable.
The location is also very convenient, within walking distance to Wulingyuan East Gate. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Another great plus is the 24-hour laundry service, and the staff even helped us do the laundry for free.
Overall, it was an amazing stay. I would give it 10 stars if I could! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Zhangjiajie.

Ccherry0105The location is super convenient, just about a three-minute walk to Dongmen. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the service is great. Their afternoon tea is delicious! I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park!
GGuest UserUpon arrival staff were very kind and welcoming. I’ve never stayed in a place so secluded so this was absolutely a great experience and super wholesome.
Id recommend this place to couples and solo travellers, not necessarily for families unless you enjoy each others company x50 hehe. The property itself has a tea house, a restaurant and cute scenery places to explore and walk around.
Cute cats and dogs are constantly roaming too :) the mountain view is picturesque and honestly a breathtaking view when waking up to it. Staff was so accomodating on my one night stay. I texted on WeChat at 1am in the evening and Mr Hu was super responsive and even got tasks done for me like finding cigarettes and Coke Zero late at night.
The property was very clean for a cabin styled property, however I am used to more modern places - also please beware lots of mosquitoes during warm season so pack repellent!!
I highly recommend the property if you’re visiting the Avatar Mountains, it’s 9 minutes away to the East Gate Entrance (Tianzi Cableway), the staff can also help book your tours and tickets easily.
Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful experience staying in the tatami room with a river view. The room was spotlessly clean, and the overall environment was comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom had a good wet and dry separation, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Because I enjoyed my stay so much, I decided to extend it. The hotel is ideally located right by the Xiangjiang River, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with a free gym and a self-service laundry room. There's even a smart robot in the lobby that can deliver items to guest rooms. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

EEduarda Carvalho[Parks info below] I'm glad that I checked out this hostel, good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, lots of electricity sources in bed and common area, curtains, hot shower. I shared the 6 beds dorm with just another girl, and you make your own bed. No toilet paper, no free water refill, no light in bed. It's worth the price. If you extend your stay directly in the hostel it's cheaper than the app.
The reception area is more cramped but you can socialize there. Most of the people are Chinese but I also met some foreigners. The guy in the reception speaks English and can give you information, in addition to that I recommend you to do your own research. There are two baby cats playing around, and an adult one.
You can get to the hostel from the west railway station by bus line 17 for 2 yuan - last bus at 8:40pm + 15 minutes walk. Location is close to the main avenue where there's a lot of restaurants, and a 24-hour convenience store close to the corner with this same avenue. There are two night markets in the city, one on the avenue like 10 min distance walking to downtown direction, more local, and another one on the street in front of the tianmen mountain cable car, more touristy. The hostel is 15 minutes walking to the central bus station where you can get the bus to zhangjiajie park and 15-20 to the tianmen mountain cable car station.
[ATTRACTIONS] Zhangjiajie (avatar), tianmen (heaven's gate) and canyon (glass bridge) are 3 different parks in different locations.
The entrance to zhangjiajie gives you access for 4 days. I went the 4 days and enjoyed it very properly. If you're short on time, 2 days will do, but plan it wisely based on your priorities. Gates are 1 hour trip distance from the central bus station - 1h30 at weekends. Also, note that before entering the park with passport and face scan, you need to do an APPOINTMENT for that hour. You usually do it there at the gate, but for a saturday all appointments for that hour were sold out in advance and I had to wait for 45 minutes to go in. Recommended to check in advance especially on weekends.
There are 2 types of tickets you can get: including all cable cars and elevator for unlimited time for 450 yuan; or just the entrance (including only free shuttles) for 215 yuan - you still have the option of buying each transport at the park (75 yuan cablecar one-way, 65 elevator one-way). At first, I had understood that to see the avatar mountains, the ONLY way was through the elevator, so I bought the all-inclusive. Turns out you CAN go by free shuttle + hike + free shuttle if you start in the east gate. My favorite part was the huangshi village.
For tianmen, the entrance is 260 yuan. Choose the route in advance because some sell out fast. Gold advice: go at least one hour or more BEFORE the hour that you have the tickets for. The hour of your ticket just matters before the very last point before boarding the cable car. The line was MASSIVE and it took me 2h30 waiting on a Monday - ended up getting in 2 hours late than my ticket time and couldn't finish the whole loop: took only the red trail and went down to the heaven's gate.
About the Canyon, I can't say much because I decided to skip it and save the 210 yuan ticket - note that this price DOESN'T include the activities, you must pay separately. The package that includes almost* everything is 360 yuan.
Last but not least, if you go to the 72 Wonders, there's also an entrance of 88 yuan. You can go/come back with the bus 17 - same line that serves to the west railway station, last bus 8:40pm.
GGuest UserI had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel with no complaints at all! The location was right by the East Gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which made it super convenient to walk over. It was also near the bus station, which can take you straight to the west railway station. The room itself was super big, spacious, and clean. Above all, the best part of this stay is definitely the hosts. The inn is run by two sisters who were genuinely the sweetest host I’ve met. They offered discounts to the park, provided recommended route for each day, offered self-grown/picked tea at night, provided food recommendations + discounts at nearby restaurants and were overall super friendly to talk to. If I ever had any questions, I would message them on WeChat and they were super quick and extremely helpful! I highly recommend this stay to anyone travelling to Zhangjiajie/Wulingyuan!
XXinxiandechengzhiThe room was clean and hygienic, and the location was super convenient. The metro station is right next to the hotel, making it really easy to get to all the attractions. Orange Isle and Wuyi Square were just a few metro stops away. Plus, there were plenty of dining options nearby.
GGuest UserFor the view of the mountains, this stay is so awesome. If you mainly want to see the Zhangjiajie National Park, I really recommend this hotel. For me, I underestimated the amount of time it would take to get to Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie city. It was a little inconvenient for me because I had to call taxis if I wanted to go out to eat and it was kind of far. A lot of taxi drivers would ask me for a tip because the location was difficult to reach. Apart from the location issue, I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were so accommodating and kind and even drove me to Zhangjiajie city on my last day. The dogs were so cute and the view of the mountains was stunning. If you want a perfect getaway from the city and stunning views, then this is the place for you. If you want to hangout in the more lively places, it might be kind of a hassle. This hotel is perfect for those who want a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
EEloise L.This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at by far. If I come back to Changsha, this will definitely be my go-to hotel from now on.
First and foremost, the hotel is clean! That’s my biggest pet peeve when it comes to hotels, and this place exceeded my expectations. The hotel is also themed, so the atmosphere feels much more pleasant and unique compared to a lot of modern hotels. I especially loved the small library space they have.
The room itself is spacious, and the layout is perfect. I like that there’s a separation between the toilet area and the shower area. I also appreciate that the windows can be opened for fresh air. Overall, the room is super quiet, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The service is impeccable. Check-in was smooth, and they offer free laundry service and complimentary afternoon tea every day during your stay. You can also request bottled water for free, and the minibar is stocked with drinks and snacks that are all complimentary as well.
Honestly, I can’t think of a single issue I had during my stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserMy best friend and I came to Changsha for a trip, and we chose this guesthouse based on its aesthetic appeal – it truly exceeded our expectations.
It's located inside an alley but very close to the entrance, so there's no need to worry about safety. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk directly to attractions like Wuyi Square, Huangxing Walking Street, Pozi Street, and Wenheyou. It's also walkable to popular restaurants like Cuiyan Xiaochao Huangrou (Stir-fried Beef), Ben Luobo, and the famous Black Classic Stinky Tofu – incredibly convenient.
Regarding the service, the customer service via WeChat was incredibly responsive and helpful, always addressing any questions or concerns. When we checked in, they even helped us with our luggage. Every evening, there's complimentary late-night snack, and the mung bean soup is absolutely delicious. The facilities are also excellent; the washer-dryer combo was very useful.
I highly recommend this guesthouse. It excels in safety, photo-friendliness, and convenience.
