I really enjoyed my stay here; it was a fantastic experience. The place has a unique charm and genuinely feels like home. While the rooms aren't brand new, they are impeccably clean. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive – not only did they provide fresh fruit and hot porridge every day, but they also offered charging cables, disposable towels, and various other travel essentials. I have to commend the exceptional service team; everyone was dedicated and meticulous. They even helped with laundry, drying it and returning it to my room. When I checked out, they carried my luggage all the way to the subway station – truly above and beyond! The hotel's location is also excellent; it's within walking distance of Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral, and the subway station, Flood Control Memorial Tower, and Songhua River Cableway are just across the road. This is a huge plus! I highly recommend this place for families traveling together!

First day in Harbin and I'm really happy with this hotel! The front desk staff were super friendly, and the breakfast servers were so warm and welcoming ❤️🔥. It's conveniently located, making getting around a breeze! Facilities: Brand new design style. Hygiene: Very clean, you could literally sit on the floor. Environment: Beautiful views from the high floor. Service: Front desk and breakfast staff were absolutely fantastic! Overall rating: 5 stars!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to both the morning and night markets, as well as several important riverside attractions. Dining and shopping options are also very convenient. The rooms are spacious with a practical layout, and basic amenities were mostly in place. As Heihe's morning market is quite famous, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. However, the cleanliness was not up to par; there were small flying insects in the room, likely coming up from the drain. The service also left much to be desired. Not only did they fail to accommodate our request for a room away from the elevator, but they assigned us a room right by the elevator entrance, citing room type as the reason. Later, we discovered that rooms of our booked type were indeed available further from the elevator. Furthermore, to borrow an umbrella, we had to pay a 50 deposit per umbrella. While it was refunded immediately upon return, it still left a slightly unpleasant feeling for a hotel guest.

The 24-hour free airport shuttle service is incredibly convenient, with punctual and friendly drivers. It only takes a few minutes to get to the airport, so there's no need to rush. The room was surprisingly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the underfloor heating kept it wonderfully warm – perfect for the Northeast winter. The bathroom was odor-free and thoughtfully equipped with a full set of toiletries. The front desk service was outstanding; check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. They proactively confirmed my shuttle time and even offered a wake-up call, completely alleviating any worries about missing my flight. An even bigger surprise was the free freshly ground coffee and a clean laundry room – so many thoughtful details! The location and quality for the price are unbeatable. It's perfect whether you're on a business trip or just transiting. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin!

The hotel's afternoon tea was a highlight; the milk tea was delicious, and the Western-style pastries, yogurt, and desserts were all commendable. The room was a bit small but clean, with a Russian architectural style. The faucet was incredibly high (I'm 168cm, which is quite tall for a southerner, but I still couldn't reach the drying line in the bathroom – surprising for a Russian-style building with not-so-large rooms). The indoor heating definitely made you forget the outdoor cold. Recommended: It's very close to Metro Line 2 (3 stops to Harbin Ice and Snow World, Central Street, and Hongzhuan Morning Market are just a short walk away). There are plenty of BBQ joints and traditional pork stew restaurants nearby. It would be helpful to have two room cards for guests returning late at night. The service felt a bit robotic, understandable given the high foot traffic in the commercial area, which can lead to service fatigue. I'd still recommend this hotel for first-time visitors to Harbin, but the service needs to catch up with the room rates.

A huge thank you to Ranran at Harbin Ocean Hotel Ritz for her thoughtful service! The hotel's location is superb, right next to central street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and other attractions. You can unlock all the beautiful sights of Ice City on foot – super convenient for getting around. The cleanliness is impeccable; the room was spotless, the bedding clean and soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no odd smells. You can tell they pay attention to every detail. Ranran's service was both warm and professional, answering all our questions and making our entire stay incredibly comfortable. It's excellent value for money; I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Harbin. Highly recommended!

We visited Mudajiang with friends for the first time and realized it was the perfect hotel for our December needs. The hotel offers several floors of spa treatments (steam rooms, pools, massage rooms, and much more for the whole family). The treatments are very reasonably priced—top-notch (as evidenced by the huge number of visitors). The hotel is located on a shopping and pedestrian street, and underneath it is a giant market (subway). Prices are reasonable, with most items having fixed prices. All the well-known brands are nearby, the surroundings are clean, and the people are surprisingly Russian. Because there's a street with ”local” cuisine, you probably won't find borscht here. Compared to Suifenhe, no one is jacking up the prices or pestering you.

The Shangri-La Hotel Harbin Songbei package included a light meal and afternoon tea. The location is very close to the Ice and Snow World, and the hotel is new with excellent hygiene. Most importantly, the service was great. We rested for a while in the Horizon Club Lounge on the 28th floor and had some simple afternoon tea. Linda and Wendy even gave us small Russian nesting doll gifts, which was a very thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend everyone to stay here.

This hotel is located in the prime area of Zhaolin Street, just a 5-minute walk from Saint Sophia Cathedral and a stone's throw from Central Street. Getting to attractions like the Ice and Snow World and Harbin West Station is super convenient with direct subway access. The room was comfortable, with a soft Simmons mattress. The Dyson hairdryer and smart toilet showcased quality and thoughtful details. A big shout-out to the front desk and housekeeping staff for their warm and enthusiastic service! 👍🏻

We upgraded our rooms facing Songbei River on the executive floor and it was totally worth it. The river view was amazing and we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset view while having a drink and snacks inside. My husband was quite drained from the coldness outside and it was relaxing to sit and view sun island from a vintage point. Thank you Shangri La. They also gave my children an adorable Dongbei Shangri la tiger. A lovely cherry on the top to our stay at the hotel.
