It was my birthday on Monday, so I chose a short trip to Suzhou for the weekend. Choosing Wugong Hotel was absolutely the right decision. The garden-style hotel itself is a scenic wonder at every turn, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making guests feel right at home! Amy at the Pagoda Shadow Cafe in the hotel was warm and humorous. Plus, guests can freely enter and exit the Panmen Scenic Area, which is connected to the hotel. It's beautiful both during the day and at night when the lights are on. I've already decided to bring my mom back here for the ***** New Year to experience it too!

Hotel near Slender West Lake Scenic Area,Yangzhou 80% of visitors choose this area

If you could only do two things in Yangzhou, they would undoubtedly be 'admiring the gardens' and 'savoring Huaiyang cuisine'. My stay at Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel perfectly blended these two experiences, offering an unexpected feast for both my mind and body. Before checking in, I knew the hotel was located by Slender West Lake, but it wasn't until I truly stepped inside that I understood what 'a new scene with every step' really meant. The hotel itself is an exquisite Chinese-style garden, with pavilions, terraces, rockeries, and ponds artfully arranged. Strolling through the garden in the early morning or evening, sunlight streamed through the carved wooden windows, casting dappled shadows that reflected in the tranquil ponds, while white walls, dark tiles, and lush greenery complemented each other beautifully. Everywhere I looked in the garden was a vivid ink painting of Jiangnan. This immersive garden experience is something that simply visiting a regular attraction can't compare to. If the garden satisfied my eyes, then the hotel's restaurant thoroughly conquered my stomach. The highlight of this culinary journey was here: the morning tea at Quyuan Teahouse lived up to its reputation. In the elegant setting of the tea restaurant, I savored classic hot dried shredded tofu, crab roe soup dumplings, and five-filling buns. The dim sum was meticulously prepared and authentic in taste, making breakfast feel like a special ritual. For lunch and dinner, I tried several famous Huaiyang dishes. The boiled dried shredded tofu was fresh and tender, and the Lion's Head meatball, with its perfect balance of lean and fatty meat, melted in my mouth. Each dish showcased the essence of Huaiyang cuisine's philosophy of 'using local ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship,' and the staff's descriptions of the dishes were professional and appropriate. From the thoughtful service I received during check-in to the warm and attentive shuttle driver, every detail during my stay reflected the hotel's dedication. It's more than just a place to stay; it's a microcosm of Yangzhou culture. For travelers seeking to 'experience local character and savor culture,' this is undoubtedly an excellent choice.

The location is excellent, and the high-floor view is quite good. The afternoon tea included in the Trip.com package was incredibly good value for money, I just forgot to take a picture before eating it. The room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The facilities aren't brand new; there's no high-speed hairdryer or smart toilet, and the power outlet next to the desk was a bit difficult to open. There's only one tissue box, placed on the vanity. However, these are minor issues and don't really matter; they're easily adjustable. What I found unacceptable were two problems. Firstly, the elevator shaft connecting the suspended lobby to the first floor constantly emitted a whistling wind sound, which was noisy and unsettling. Secondly, I'm not sure if the air conditioning system is old and ineffective, or if they're saving energy and haven't turned it on properly. I couldn't adjust the temperature or mode. Outside, the temperature was dropping fast, nearing zero degrees, yet even with the in-room AC control set to 28°C, there was still no airflow. I called the front desk, and it took an age for someone to arrive. They pointed a forehead thermometer at the vent, it beeped, and they claimed the vent was blowing 26°C, saying there was no problem and that this was the set temperature, controlled centrally by the hotel. The problem is, I had the whimsical idea to hold a paper-thin tissue up to the vent, and it didn't even flutter.

Another stay at the Jinling Hotel in Nanjing, and the overall experience was once again perfect! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we could feel the hotel's consistent professionalism and warmth. The staff were always smiling, incredibly friendly, and made us feel so welcome. The family room we booked this time was a wonderful surprise – truly a hidden gem. It had a special, thoughtfully decorated children's area that was full of playful charm. The little tent immediately captivated our child, who had a blast playing in it, allowing the adults to relax in peace. The breakfast buffet was equally satisfying, with a rich variety of Chinese and Western options that catered to all ages. I especially want to commend the breakfast buffet staff; they were kind, polite, and incredibly patient. They greeted us proactively and thoughtfully assisted with food selection and seating arrangements, making the whole dining experience pleasant and setting a cheerful tone for the morning. Special thanks to our Elite Butler, whose service was meticulous and attentive throughout. They personally escorted our family to our room for check-in and proactively checked during our stay if we needed any items replenished. Their responses were prompt, truly making us feel at home. Whether it was the guest room, breakfast, or the overall service details, the Jinling Hotel demonstrated high standards across the board. The next time we visit Nanjing, this will definitely remain our top choice. Highly recommended!

I almost wanted to keep this gem of a hotel a secret, but it's just too good not to share! The room isn't huge, but the environment and facilities are excellent. For around 200, you get a smart voice assistant, a smart toilet, a mini-fridge, and even premium bottled water (Baishishan). The toiletries aren't some obscure brand either. There's a parking lot right next door, and if you tell the front desk, they'll give you a parking voucher. Plus, there are restaurants and a food street nearby. The complimentary mini-bar with water and drinks was a nice touch. Just a small suggestion: the smart toilet emits a slight odor when opened, which could be looked into. I'd definitely stay here again next time! 😊

This trip exceeded all my expectations, I'm incredibly satisfied! Even though Ctrip customer service didn't fully communicate my requests, the hotel was very generous. They upgraded me directly to an executive lake view room, which instantly elevated the whole experience. Getting an upgrade, especially to such a great room type during a holiday, is truly rare. The room offered views of both the lake and the 'Big Trousers' building. The hotel's service was impeccable; they were so good with kids, even giving them balloons and rings. All in all, it's an excellent family-friendly hotel. The playground is also better than those at most other hotels. The pool was great too, though we didn't get to try the outdoor one during our winter visit – we hope to return in the summer to experience it. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou for three reasons: first, its excellent location; second, its service quality and standards far surpass those of Crowne Plaza; and third, the hotel is very accommodating and good to children.

I've stayed at InterContinental Nanjing quite a few times now, so I consider myself a regular. This time, I want to share my thoughts. The hotel's style is quite different from the InterContinentals in Hangzhou. Nanjing's architectural vibe leans towards old money, giving off a very opulent and luxurious feel. And it's a tall building, which I love since I enjoy staying in high-floor rooms. Looking out over Nanjing from the 65th floor is truly amazing! Plus, the natural light is fantastic; the gentle sunshine really brightens your mood. I really need to commend the hotel's service. My butler, Alice, was incredibly attentive. She proactively asked if I needed room cleaning and how I slept. When I requested some items, Alice was super quick to deliver, and she wasn't stiff or formal like some other hotel butlers – she was very approachable. The doorman at the entrance was also great, kindly asking if I needed help with my luggage to my room and actively opening and closing the car door when I arrived. My only minor complaint is that the hotel pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. I prefer a firmer pillow, so I woke up with a stiff neck this morning. But that's really my fault, as I only realized while packing this morning that the hotel offers a pillow menu. Overall, InterContinental Nanjing maintains a very high standard. Even though it's been open for a while, its quality easily rivals other five-star luxury hotels. I hope the hotel continues its efforts to make guests like us feel right at home.

New hotel, friendly staff but is going to be outdated soon. Bad sound proofing , lots of drunk Chinese people shouting in the corridor at night time. The breakfast variety is so poor for Europeans. Please teach your staff in the restaurant to cook sunny side up eggs and refill the dishes without reminding. Overall, it’s not “real Hilton” experience.

Everything was top tier. From the check-in where I was upgraded to a river view room, the clean, spacious and inviting room to the service and superb breakfast. The view from the restaurant was amazing. This was my pre birthday trip and the Hyatt made it so special. I even got a slice to birthday cake. The lady at the front desk who checked me in spoke really good English and was so kind and caring and she’s also a Gemini 😁🎉 I would 100% recommend and come back here.

PPere MayoralI had a perfect stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful, attentive, kind and always helpful. The room was spacious and always clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is excellent, with parks, temples and convenience stores all within walking distance, and the metro just a short walk away. Every evening the area comes alive with a parade of people dressed up and taking professional photos, which gives the neighborhood a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Whenever I come back to Nanjing I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

MMD2024This time, I stayed at Mo Keyuan from August 14th to 15th. When I was choosing a hotel, I was quite surprised to see Mo Keyuan had nothing but glowing reviews. After staying there, I realized that both its facilities and service are indeed exceptional. **Ambiance & Location:** In terms of its location, it's merely 50 meters from Pingjiang Road, and within comfortable walking distance of Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum. It's also nestled in the same alley as the famous Zhuo Lin Li Tang Zhou (a traditional dessert shop), just 20-30 meters away, and shares an adjacent alley with Couple's Retreat Garden. This geographical positioning is simply superb! The hotel itself is a numbered private garden with five interconnected courtyards, boasting exquisite rockeries, ponds, and bridges. Its design is incredibly intricate, offering distinct scenic views with every turn. Guanhuatang, a key hall, is the central room in the innermost of these five courtyards. The front desk is located in the first courtyard, exuding an antique charm. Upon entering the second courtyard, you're greeted by a misty, ethereal atmosphere, providing a refreshing coolness on hot days and adding a wonderful artistic touch. The third courtyard houses the banquet hall, while the fourth and fifth are dedicated to guest rooms. In reality, this compound is far more complex than it appears, with the unique asymmetrical structure typical of Suzhou gardens revealing many delightful surprises. **Cleanliness:** Everywhere I looked was impeccably clean. Unlike other Chinese courtyards I've stayed in, at Mo Keyuan, all areas (except guest rooms and staff offices) are openly accessible. Furthermore, the furniture inside is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, giving the impression that they are actively used daily. The rooms were subtly pre-scented with incense, and the bathrooms were also spotless. **Facilities:** Mo Keyuan boasts comprehensive facilities, offering both dining options and captivating Pingtan (Suzhou storytelling and ballad singing) performances. Guests can enjoy these performances for free, held in a charming small hall in the second courtyard, which serves as both a restaurant and a performance venue. The performance hall is very well-equipped, featuring background projection and automatic stage curtains, truly showing great attention to detail. Furthermore, before checking in, I was somewhat concerned about security. However, upon arrival, I found that the visitor and guest areas are effectively separated by access control, ensuring both privacy and safety. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. The butler was always ready to answer any questions and had an excellent, friendly attitude. Every staff member had a great service attitude and was remarkably patient. Due to a last-minute change in our itinerary, we only decided quite late that we wanted to have lunch at Mo Keyuan the next day. However, the butler arranged it perfectly, and we got to savor the Squirrel-shaped Mandarin Fish and Crab Roe Tofu we had hoped for. The hotel's shuttle service was even more convenient, saving us precious time and effort when visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou Museum, and Lion Grove Garden. We also had the pleasure of meeting the garden owner this time, who was very approachable and clearly poured their heart and soul into managing this exquisite garden. **Daily Pingtan Performance (2 Tickets):** The Pingtan performance was excellent. The young lady sang beautifully and spoke with such gentle grace; experiencing the 'Wu Nong Soft Language' (Suzhou dialect) live was truly delightful. The performance also included complimentary Biluochun tea and homemade mung bean cakes, making it a truly enjoyable experience. I'm extremely glad I chose Mo Keyuan this time. My only regret is not being able to stay an extra night to spend half a day simply wandering around the garden, sipping tea, watching the fish, and relaxing – that would have been utterly tranquil and perfect.

MM263314****The property was spotlessly clean, grand in scale, and beautifully decorated in a European style, making for a very comfortable stay. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which was much appreciated! The service was incredibly warm and attentive; they even sent up fresh fruit, which was a lovely gesture. The picturesque surroundings truly gave it a resort-like feel – absolutely fantastic! The local scenery is charming, and the location is excellent, being very close to the Lingshan Grand Buddha. We enjoyed comfortable amenities, stunning mountain views right outside, and wonderful fresh air. Taihu Lake is also just a short distance away, and the nights were wonderfully peaceful. Highly recommend this beautiful spot! Thank you so much!

The room has excellent office facilities, with comfortable desk and chair, and stable internet, making work incredibly efficient. The soundproofing is great; you can't hear any noise even in the corridor, ensuring a quiet environment for both work and rest. Check-out supports quick invoicing, the process is smooth, and the service is professional and efficient. It offers much better value for money than other hotels in the same price range. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for future business travel!

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

MM303489****I saw this highly-rated hotel on Ctrip and was immediately drawn to it, so I spontaneously booked a trip. The 'garden-style hotel with very cute mynahs' left the deepest impression on me. When I got to the room and saw the walkway by the pond, I remembered coming here years ago with a friend, and I had a good impression even then. My family was very satisfied this time too! 👍 The environment, service, and breakfast were all great! 👍 This time, I even got to sit in the hotel, quietly drink tea, and listen to Pingtan opera, which was very relaxing. I'll definitely be back often!

1118524****The hotel is right in the Yangcheng Lake Wetland Park. There is a large area owned by them. You can ride a bicycle, take a walk, and set up a tent by the lake. I also saw someone tying a hammock. It was so comfortable to be under the shade of the trees by the lake, feeling the spring breeze and looking at the lake view. There is also a recreation center where you can go boating and go karts. It is really rich. I feel that one day is not enough. If you want to walk around some of the scenic spots in the surrounding Yangcheng Lake, two days will be enough. As an old five-star hotel, although the decoration is not trendy, it is definitely old money style, with luxurious crystal chandeliers, landscape elevators, and complete facilities. There are plenty of charging piles in the parking lot, and my baby said that this TV can be turned on and watched. The praise is 100 points. 😂, there are many parent-child activities on May 1st, you can make lipstick and lacquer fans, and you can experience it with your children according to your hobbies. The environment is great. I paid the upgrade fee at the front desk and got a lake view room. It is great value for money. The scenery is nothing to say. The room bedding is clean. The lounge manager Sammi is considerate and reminds us to watch the sunset at a certain time. It is really great. I will come again next time
