This hotel is a relatively large garden hotel in the city, and the facilities are pretty good. Online reviews are mixed, some good, some not so good. Since we were having a family gathering in Suzhou for Chinese New Year, we decided to stay here. The room facilities were decent, and we had a view of the swimming pool from our window. The hotel was fully booked for the holiday, so parking in the garage was very tight. The decor might be a bit old-fashioned; the ventilation fan and light in the bathroom shared a single switch. It was quite cold taking a shower in winter as the fan couldn't be turned off, and it was right above my head. The hotel's environment is lovely, with many picturesque spots for photos. The breakfast area, lobby, and coffee shop particularly left a strong impression. However, the Chinese restaurant's food was quite ordinary.

The location is excellent, with a subway entrance right downstairs in Building 1, making travel incredibly convenient. The executive lounge on the 40th floor offers a breathtaking view, providing panoramic vistas of Xuanwu Lake and a distant view of Purple Mountain – truly a magnificent landscape. The bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, the hygiene was quite poor. There was dust on the bedside lamp and on the coffee machine. I had to use tissues to wipe it down several times. Later, when I turned on the bathroom light at night, it flickered erratically, which was quite startling. Despite my note requesting a high-floor room with an open, unobstructed view, I was initially given a room on the 23rd floor. The view was dominated by the brightly lit logos of two adjacent commercial buildings, practically blinding me. More than half of Xuanwu Lake was obstructed, rendering the 'lake view' virtually useless. After sitting on the sofa for a while, I felt increasingly cramped, so I called to request a room change. Only then was I moved to the 39th floor. The room on the 39th floor was perfect and met all my requirements. If such a room was available, why was I initially assigned the other one? Were my notes ignored? There was no welcome fruit. The quality of the fruit at afternoon tea was decent, but the desserts were just so-so. Guest services were practically non-existent. Overall, the experience at Nanxiang was mediocre, with only the beautiful scenery managing to lift my spirits.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday and had such a great experience. They upgraded me to a suite, which was clean, beautiful and incredibly spacious. When I arrived, they had a thoughtful birthday setup waiting for me, complete with a cake and a sweet “Happy Birthday” display, which I truly appreciated. They also gave me lovely souvenirs from the city, which was such a nice touch. The staff were warm, helpful and always ready to assist. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of Western options. The view from the room was amazing and made the stay even more special. The location is also very convenient, right next to a plaza with plenty of food options to choose from. I would absolutely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable, the environment was quiet, and we felt completely at ease staying with our little one. I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children or for a family trip. The value for money and service are both top-notch. I'll definitely choose this place first again next time!

The hotel is located in the old city, not too far from the tourist attractions, and is easily accessible by subway to places like Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Lake, Zhongshan Scenic Area, and Xinjiekou. There's a rich variety of dining options nearby, such as Shizilou, Jiming Soup Dumplings, and Yin's Soup Dumplings, all within walking distance, which is fantastic. The hotel environment is good, and the facilities are well-maintained. The bedding is odorless and dry, and the room is clean, though some minor details could use more attention during cleaning 🧹. Otherwise, it's excellent! The staff provided wonderful and attentive service, especially the young lady who handled our check-in; her service was superb 👍👍. She even upgraded our room and gave us complimentary fruit, which was a pleasant surprise. I apologize for forgetting her name, but I'd like to extend my gratitude through this platform!!! The breakfast offers a rich and varied selection, blending Chinese and Western dishes, though the stir-fries could use a bit more seasoning. The afternoon tea on the 78th-floor cloud lounge was also very good, but the service staff there were not quite on par with the front desk, appearing a bit aloof. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. I still recommend it!

First off, the hotel's location is fantastic! You can easily walk to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street. Secondly, the hotel is very new and exceptionally clean. Everything is controlled by smart voice commands, which is super convenient! The projector also works really well. Finally, the robot delivery service is a great touch, and the hotel staff are all very enthusiastic and quick to respond. P.S. It happened to be raining the day we arrived, and the front desk had umbrellas available to borrow, which was incredibly helpful! Overall, I had a great experience and have already recommended it to friends.

Great hotel in a superb location for a Yancheng visit. Staff are always warm and attentive, rooms are great and food is superb in the hotel

Due to severe traffic jams on the Jiangsu section of the highway, we only managed to drive less than 200 kilometers in five hours that afternoon. We decided to stay a night in Yangzhou and head back to Zhejiang tomorrow morning. Shangri-La's service was excellent and professional; they proactively upgraded us to a lake-view room and offered complimentary fruit and drinks. At breakfast, the round-faced hostess with glasses provided exceptional service, helping us with coffee and jiao mian. The hotel even followed up with us after check-out. Their service is truly outstanding.

First off, a huge shout-out to the concierge team! We stayed for 4 nights with a three-year-old, which meant a lot of preparations. We had diapers delivered to the concierge for safekeeping, and then ordered takeout daily. The concierge team, seeing we had a child, not only gave us gifts but also helped deliver our takeout to the room – we were incredibly touched! Our butler, Cindy Zhou, concierge Vancs, and the cleaning aunties were all incredibly responsive to our every request. We really put everyone out! The housekeeping staff who brought us humidifiers and air purifiers were also fantastic, and the fruit and drink replenishment was always spot-on! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, the service we received was absolutely top-notch.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped, with free washing machines and dryers on the third floor. Hygiene: Very clean and odor-free. Environment: Very good and quiet. Service: The front desk staff are warm and attentive, always ready to help with any issues.
