I stayed at Suzhou Pan Pacific Hotel had a mixed experience. Pros: The hotel has a park-style setting with lots of greenery. The environment is very pleasant and the air feels fresh, making it a relaxing place to stay. Cleanliness is also a strong point — you can see staff constantly maintaining the hotel, and everything is kept neat and tidy. Cons: The location is not very convenient. It takes about 20 minutes by car to reach most attractions, and since it is in an older area, there isn’t much to explore nearby. You will need to rely on taxis most of the time. Another issue is the lack of privacy. During my stay, staff knocked on my door around noon to ask about housekeeping. On the second day, around 12:30 PM, someone even came to ask if I was checking out. This felt intrusive, and I have not experienced this in other hotels. Lastly, borrowing items like umbrellas (RMB 20 deposit) and international adapters (RMB 30 deposit) requires a deposit. The staff even delivered the items to the room and collected the payment on the spot, which felt a bit unprofessional. Overall: A good choice if you value a peaceful environment and greenery, but if location convenience and privacy are important to you, you may want to reconsider.

The room was spotless! The service was truly exceptional, unlike anything I've experienced before. Right when we arrived, someone helped us with our luggage. Considering we had seniors and children with us, they even upgraded our room type! The security guard at the entrance kindly pointed us to some great food spots. In other hotels, the mini-fridge drinks usually cost money, but to my surprise, not only were they free at Mercure, but there was also a thoughtful little note. 😊 The level of thoughtfulness here is truly unmatched! To ensure hygiene, they provided a bathtub liner, and all the cups were placed in a sterilizer cabinet. All in all, we were extremely satisfied! The kids are already begging to come back next time.

Carrying a slight regret from our last trip and a lingering fondness for Nanxiang, we embarked on this Nanjing journey, with the Nanjing Shangri-La, of course, as our first stop. 1. **Location**: The hotel's location is superb, right next to Xinmofan Road Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to reach all major attractions. It's also very close to Xuanwu Lake, just a few minutes' walk away. Strolling along the lake, with willows swaying and flowers vying for attention – the dazzling tulips, the blooming crabapples (some green, some red), and especially that expansive cherry blossom grove. From a distance, it looked like a pink mist. A gentle spring breeze would bring a shower of cherry blossoms, petals fluttering down and scattering, softly carpeting the earth in pink. The peach blossoms were not to be outdone, white, pink, and crimson, blooming profusely on the branches, attracting countless busy little bees and adding vibrant color to the lakeside spring. 2. **Room**: We stayed in a lake-view suite again this time, and I'm grateful to the Horizon Club staff for arranging a high-floor room. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with a large living room and bedroom. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a side view of Xuanwu Lake, which was a slight pity. There was no separate walk-in closet, the luggage rack was rather high and narrow, and the bathroom toilet wasn't smart and wasn't separated, all indicating the hotel's age. However, the room service was commendable. They were always responsive, not only providing a luggage rack and a drying pole but also bringing a pot of orchids, which added color to the room. When we mentioned that the welcome dessert wasn't very good, they immediately replaced it with cherry blossom cupcakes and chocolates the next day, which was very thoughtful. 3. **Dining**: The hotel's 'Jiangnan Wok' restaurant specializes in Huaiyang cuisine and is a Black Pearl two-diamond establishment. The restaurant has an elegant ambiance, and the waitstaff are all polite. The 'Clear Broth Lion's Head' was fragrant, soft, and melted in the mouth, while the 'Huaiyang Soft Wok Eel' was silky smooth and tender, our absolute favorite. The unexpected surprise was the 'Stir-fried Beef with Brisket Fat' – the beef was tender and aromatic, with excellent wok hei. Being spice lovers, we also ordered the 'Jiangnan Wok Maoxuewang,' which was also excellent. The large chunks of eel and generous shrimp balls showed no skimping on ingredients, and the flavor definitely rivaled external Sichuan and Hunan restaurants. Personally, I found the pan-fried buns just okay. The 'Xiao Xian Rou' crispy pastry reminded me of Shanghai's fresh pork mooncakes, but felt like it lacked a bit of juice. Breakfast at the ground-floor buffet used to impress me, but this time, the taste felt a bit off compared to before. The 'Jiangnan Wok' breakfast selection was rich, the duck blood vermicelli soup was very fresh and delicious, and the handmade soup dumplings were also good. The beef potstickers had a fragrant filling, but the crust wasn't crispy enough. The bread and pastry section had a variety of choices, but the taste felt average, especially my favorite caramel egg tart, whose crust was soft, almost as if it had been microwaved. The Horizon Club breakfast is semi-buffet style, with a la carte options available. The pan-fried salmon was exquisite and delicious, and the duck blood vermicelli soup was generously portioned and very fresh. The restaurant's bread station even had a small toaster, allowing guests to heat their own bread, which was a thoughtful touch. However, I felt the standard had declined compared to before; the Eggs Benedict were solid, the beef in the Nanjing beef noodles was tough, and the steamed buns in the steamer were sometimes not hot, affecting the taste. Although the happy hour offerings were quite rich, the taste was average. Even more unbelievable, we found plastic wrap in the food – this shouldn't happen at a Shangri-La brand hotel. Nevertheless, the service attitude of the staff, whether in the ground-floor restaurant or the Horizon Club, was still very attentive and enthusiastic. I also encountered an unprecedented issue at the gym. For two consecutive days, I was stopped at the entrance because the staff said my room card and room number didn't match. Later, the duty manager likely issued a new room card, but it canceled my previously noted late check-out, causing me to be unable to enter on check-out day, which was quite embarrassing. Although the gym operates 24/7 with room card access, the restroom is shared with the pool, and it's unavailable after staff leave at 11 PM, which is inconvenient for guests who come to work out late. In summary, this stay brought me both joy and sorrow. I hope the hotel can strengthen its training and management to reach new heights and become a landmark of Nanjing, a place one thinks of when Nanjing is mentioned!

There's such a wide variety it's hard to choose: ✅Chinese food lovers rejoice: freshly made Nanjing-style duck blood and vermicelli soup, various noodles, stir-fries, congee and soups, as well as fried dough sticks, steamed buns, and dim sum – it's like a taste of old Nanjing. ✅Western food fans will be satisfied: toast, desserts, salads, cold cuts, and freshly ground coffee. ✅There are also fried foods, miso soup, fried rice, and many other options – you could eat from morning until noon without having the same thing twice! 🌇Observation Deck on the 45th Floor Head straight to the observation deck after breakfast! The expansive terrace offers panoramic views, allowing you to take in both the bustling prosperity of Nanjing city and the tranquil beauty of Xuanwu Lake. When the sun shines, it's perfect for photos, every shot looks like a masterpiece 📸 If you're visiting Nanjing during the Qingming holiday, choosing this hotel is definitely the right decision! The high-altitude views, attentive service, and amazing breakfast truly elevate the happiness of your Nanjing trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing!

Choosing Andu Hotel for my trip to Suzhou was such a great decision! The location is fantastic, right near Guanqian Street and Shantang Street. Scholar Street, with all its amazing food, is just outside, and the subway station is a short walk away. The room was spotless, the bedding super soft, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were really friendly and even gave us complimentary bottled water and drinks. The hotel has a really stylish design, perfect for photos. It's great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou!

Had a fantastic trip! The location was super convenient for getting around, and the room was spotlessly clean and tidy. I really appreciated the wet/dry separation in the bathroom – very practical. The hotel's location is fantastic, super convenient for shopping and dining. While the facilities are a bit dated, all the staff are incredibly proactive and enthusiastic. The rooms are spotless. Amy Zhang from customer service even noticed we had a child and proactively offered a kids' care set, slippers, and a toy. We had a lot of luggage for our international trip, and the concierge team was incredibly helpful throughout the check-in and check-out process, assisting us with our bags. Overall, a great stay! Highly recommend.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Shilla Comfort Inn, a Samsung hotel, on its opening day. Transportation: The hotel is conveniently located next to an elevated expressway; in my experience, it's about a 15-minute drive from Yancheng Station. Room Amenities: The hotel's double room is approximately 40 square meters, with a minimalist style. It features a touch-screen central air conditioning, sliding doors, a full-length mirror, a sofa, and a small refrigerator – all the essentials you could need. Bathroom Space: Spacious, with a TOTO bathtub, separate wet and dry areas, a smart toilet, and a full set of L'Occitane toiletries. This is unmatched by hotels in the same class. The breakfast selection is diverse, with many Korean dishes to choose from. The gym has a full set of Technogym equipment, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the bathroom featured a wet/dry separation with premium toiletries. The Executive Lounge was a delightful surprise: quiet and private, it offered coffee, soft drinks, and delicate refreshments all day. The Happy Hour spread was extensive, featuring local Nanjing specialties like salted duck, Western hot dishes, and freshly mixed cocktails. It was uncrowded and serene, with attentive service, making the dining experience far exceed my expectations. The birthday decorations were exceptionally thoughtful: after communicating in advance, the room was adorned with rose petals, a cute teddy bear, and I also received a delicate birthday cake and a handwritten card. Dear Lynn coordinated everything throughout, paying attention to every detail, making it a truly special occasion. The hotel's service is professional and attentive, and its location is convenient, making it a top choice for a high-end stay in the heart of Nanjing.

Extremely satisfied with this relaxing getaway! The environment is exceptionally serene, and the outdoor landscaping and water features are very elegant. You could easily stay around the hotel without feeling bored. Nearby, there's Langshan Scenic Area and Binjiang Park, both within walking distance, making it perfect for a leisurely holiday or a wellness retreat. Membership offers a lot of discounts, including on dining. When I added breakfast separately, the hotel automatically applied a discount, which was very generous. The dining prices are all very reasonable, and the food is delicious. The front desk and concierge staff, both the young men and women, provided excellent service, offering friendly reminders about various things. Elise from guest relations was also wonderful; she called a day in advance and noted a room upgrade, and when I arrived, the front desk already had it arranged. I'll definitely be coming back here for future Chinese New Year holidays.
