The large balcony was such a pleasant surprise! You can see the ocean from every bedroom just by drawing the curtains, and waking up to the sound of the waves in the morning was incredibly therapeutic. The complex has a shuttle service that's available on-demand, and the pool water is crystal clear. It was so relaxing to swim after surfing. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and food delivery is very convenient.

1. It was surprisingly good, even better than the pictures online! There are so many guesthouses in Tianya Town that it's overwhelming to choose, but this one, ranked on Trip.com, definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I was greeted by a beautiful view.
2. I highly recommend booking a sea-view room with a balcony. Don't let a few hundred bucks deter you; it's totally worth it and you won't regret it. It's especially beautiful on a clear day.
3. Overall, the service was good. A suggestion: perhaps further enhance the friendliness of all staff members (I personally felt some could be a bit more approachable)!
4. The common areas and rooms were very clean; there were always cleaning staff working.
5. The complimentary photo shoot provided by the hotel was also great. The hotel interior is very photogenic, especially the pool area.
I visited during New Year's Eve, and the atmosphere in the town was absolutely fantastic! There was even a fireworks show by the sea.

The hotel boasts a private beach area with expansive ocean views, and watching the sunrise from the balcony in the morning is truly therapeutic.
· It's close to attractions like Tongguling and Stone Park, making it ideal for self-driving tourists.
· The hotel grounds are lush with greenery, creating a strong tropical garden ambiance.
· The front desk proactively provided a schedule of hotel activities upon check-in.
· Housekeeping staff were polite and enthusiastic, and room amenities were replenished promptly.
· The concierge offered free maps and attraction recommendations.
⚠️ Areas for improvement:
• Breakfast peak hours require queuing, and some popular dishes are refilled a bit slowly.
• Some rooms are quite far from the lobby; it's advisable to specify your preference in advance.
• The hotel is a bit older, and some facilities show their age; floor tiles are cracked and loose in places.
🎯 Suitable for:
Family trips | Romantic getaways | Photography enthusiasts | Travelers seeking a peaceful retreat
Overall, this Hilton generally maintains its brand standards, especially excelling in creating a natural environment. The value for money would be even better if an discounted package is booked in advance. The front desk also gave a complimentary local specialty gift upon check-out, which was a nice touch!

Atlantis Sanya Hotel Stay Review
I've long dreamt of staying at the Atlantis Sanya, a fantastical landmark perched on Haitang Bay. Just catching a glimpse of its iconic ”Poseidon Tower” from afar instantly ignited my vacation excitement. This time, I finally took my family during the holidays, and not only did we immerse ourselves in the wondrous underwater world, but we were also incredibly touched by the super attentive service, making our entire stay truly blissful.
Upon entering the hotel, the first thing that caught my eye was the gigantic seahorse sculpture. Its dynamic form, coupled with dazzling lights, immediately created an immersive ocean-themed atmosphere. I couldn't resist pausing to snap several photos. Stepping further in, the lobby was even more stunning – a colossal aquarium teeming with colorful tropical fish, a dome adorned with blue lights resembling deep-sea reflections, and even the floor tiles subtly designed with wave patterns. Every snapshot felt like it belonged in a magazine. Right after checking in, we headed straight to the theater for the C Show. The aquatic stunts, aerial silks, and ocean-themed storyline on stage perfectly blended together, with dazzling lights and spectacular performances that captivated both adults and children, leaving everyone thoroughly thrilled.
Our ocean-view twin room was a real gem, offering double the surprise as soon as we opened the door: one side showcased the lively scene of roller coasters zipping through the Aquaventure Waterpark, while the other presented the calming vista where the azure sea merged with the skyline. Waking up to the sound of waves in the morning and watching the park lights illuminate the night sky in the evening was incredibly relaxing. The thoughtful details in the room were also heartwarming: children's toothbrushes and slippers were already laid out, the soft bedding was comfortable against the skin, a footstool was provided at the vanity for little ones, and complimentary sodas were supplied in the mini-fridge, restocked daily.
The entire hotel felt like a shopping mall, offering everything from dining and entertainment to shopping (Hainan specialties, Pop Mart, BaWangChaJi, ice cream, popcorn, and other shops). Guests staying at the hotel enjoyed unlimited access to the aquarium and waterpark. In ”The Lost Chambers” Aquarium, we wandered through underwater tunnels, watching sharks swim overhead, as if transported to a mysterious underwater kingdom. Although we didn't try the thrilling rides at the waterpark, feeding the stingrays and letting the children float down the lazy river multiple times were all incredibly enjoyable.
The hotel also gifted us 5 free travel photoshoots. After booking a time with the staff in advance, the photographer guided us through various poses, and the final results were outstanding. The staff member who helped us choose the photos was very helpful, offering suggestions when I was indecisive, and ultimately helped me select a cost-effective package.
Our butler, Ivy, was an absolute treasure. The day before our arrival, she proactively added me on WeChat, reminded me of the hotel's activity routes and the C Show schedule, and even presented us with a pair of adorable whale plushies as a welcome gift. My children adored them and kept asking for another pair. I hesitantly messaged Ivy, and to my surprise, she quickly delivered another pair. Throughout our stay, whether it was for information or room service, Ivy always responded instantly, truly acting as our dedicated and attentive personal butler.
The service from our room attendant, Li Chunmiao, was even more meticulous and touching. Every day when we returned from our outings, the room was spotless, the bed made perfectly, and even the children's scattered toys were neatly organized. She also thoughtfully gave us an extra pair of whale plushies. She specifically noticed that we were using chairs to block the bed, worried about the children falling off during sleep, so she proactively brought and installed a child bed rail, making sure it was stable before leaving.
While luxurious hardware is the foundation, it's the supremely thoughtful service that truly defines the soul of Atlantis. Many thanks to butler Ivy and room attendant Li Chunmiao for their dedicated efforts. Next time we visit Sanya, we will definitely choose to stay here again!

The hotel offers pick-up service, a free fish spa, and even complimentary game tokens for claw machines. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony perfect for drying clothes. Everything was great, except for its distance from the beach.

An unbeatable, super seaview room. For someone like me who grew up in the mountains, sitting by the window and experiencing the ocean is the ultimate relaxing getaway. There are many local eateries nearby. In the evenings, the beach also has bars, BBQ, and fireworks displays. You can even buy your own fireworks to set off, and there are people who can help you take photos. There's also a beautiful sunset view.

The biggest drawback is how small the room is; there's barely enough space to open your luggage. The exterior looks really grand and luxurious, but the room layouts are quite poor, and the rooms are genuinely tiny.
Service: It was decent; they even upgraded my room.
Otherwise, there are only three hotels on the island, and given my budget, I chose this mid-range one.
Overall: The small room size is a significant downside, but the accompanying services are good.

The hotel's location is good, but I have a few points of feedback. First, the service is inconsistent; sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. The lobby door attendant for luggage wasn't always available; a few times, they just stood by and watched guests struggle with their bags. Second, although it was a 'king room,' it was clearly two twin beds pushed together with a thin mattress topper. Sleeping in the middle, you could feel yourself sinking in, and the outlet on the other side was completely out of reach. They just awkwardly made it into a king-size bed. As for the room's ventilation system, I don't know what was going on, but there was a smoky smell every morning. I called about it, but they couldn't find anyone secretly smoking. The hotel bar requires a positive review to get a complimentary plate of soggy peanuts, and they even watched me finish writing the review and uploading three photos before they'd give them to me. That's pretty ridiculous; other hotels offer these for free. A good review is a good review, but waiting for me to finish writing it before giving the item is a first for me. I even mentioned, ”Shouldn't I wait for the drink to arrive before I can take a photo?” Lastly, are there still hotels charging for the mini-bar these days? I think their approach needs improvement.

## Surrounded by Beauty I stayed for a whole week and didn't switch hotels! Next time I'm in Sanya, I'll definitely stay here again! The food was incredibly satisfying, restaurant-quality! Excellent value for money! This was my first time traveling with my 1.5-year-old twin babies, and the hotel offered plenty of activities. The hotel has direct access to the beach (pictures 4/14), something no other nearby hotels have! This is because the hotel specially renovated an underground passage to reach the beach!
【Bedding】The only minor downside was that the mattress was a little saggy, but considering the last renovation was in 2018, I'm still very happy with the price! I hope next time there will be value-added services like replacing them with Simmons mattresses!

The Hilton is definitely the best hotel on Ocean Flower Island, and its location is fantastic. There's a gourmet food street nearby, and a McDonald's just a few steps downstairs. It's super convenient for catching the light show at night, and visiting the museum complex and outlet mall during the day.
The hotel facilities are also great; having a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music is a nice touch.
The first room I stayed in was quite small. Even though the front desk had thoughtfully given me a room on a higher floor, the hallway in the room still felt cramped. Later, because the air conditioning broke, they moved me to a larger sea-view room, and suddenly, the room felt much more comfortable.
The biggest downside in the room was that the shower water wasn't hot enough. After showering, I was freezing! It was practically lukewarm water. The bath towels were also cold, not absorbent, and felt slippery – just so cold.
Another drawback was that the windows were very heavy; you needed staff to help open or close them, which was a bit inconvenient.
Overall, the service staff were generally very good, and my overall experience was still pretty positive.

MM398926****This New Year's Day, I brought my parents to Sanya for a trip, and the warm, sunny weather was incredibly comfortable. Even before we arrived at the hotel, we received a call from our butler, Holly, inquiring about our arrival time and any special requests. After checking in, Holly was incredibly responsive to all our messages. She thoughtfully arranged a late check-out for us and provided a fruit platter. Any questions we had, she was quick to answer. The hotel room was very spacious and located right next to a large swimming pool, making it very convenient to go out and explore. It's a unique family suite, and my parents were very happy with this trip.
11370132****Traveling with two kids and an elder, the hotel concierge contacted me in advance to go over hotel facilities, operating hours, kids' club activity schedule, and room requests. The service was excellent. 😊😊😊 The kids' club activities were fully booked, and they even offer full-day or half-day childcare, which is fantastic. I didn't go to the lounge for afternoon tea, but my kids and the elder were quite satisfied. The lounge dinner was filling enough. My daughter loved the hotel's 'Underwater World' where you can take mermaid photos. It's also super convenient to walk to the duty-free shop. And of course, the wind in Haitang Bay is still very strong.
LLuoliyue92I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Sanya for 4 nights with my parents and child, and everyone absolutely loved it! This hotel is definitely a hidden gem for a family vacation.
📍 **Excellent Location:** It's super close to the beach, and some rooms even offer direct sea views. It's only a 10-minute drive to the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex, which is incredibly convenient for those who love to shop. Wuzhizhou Island pier is also not far, making it easy to hail a taxi.
🛏️ **Room Experience:** Since I was traveling with my parents and child, I opted for the Horizon Club. The Horizon Club offers access to an executive lounge with not only breakfast but also afternoon tea and dinner, which was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and bright, and the balcony offered stunning sea views. The room was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped with children's toiletries and a children's step stool. There's also a sofa bed in the room, which you can ask the butler to set up in advance – perfect for a family of four.
🍽️ **Satisfying Dining:** The main restaurant's breakfast spread was incredibly rich with a huge variety of options, including freshly squeezed watermelon and cantaloupe juice. To my surprise, there was even a dedicated kids' area! It offered not only dishes suitable for children like wontons, congee, pasta, steamed buns, and fried snacks, but also finely cut fruits and vegetables, showing great consideration for little ones. My child absolutely loved it.
The Horizon Club executive lounge was also fantastic. Besides afternoon tea, they have an evening happy hour with different hot dishes each day. They also offered non-spicy vegetable and meat dishes, as well as fried noodles and rice, suitable for children. Everything tasted great.
🎪 **Abundant Children's Activities:** There are tons of parent-child activities every day, along with unlimited free rides on the mini-train. We participated in a dragon fruit sushi-making class, which was a wonderful experience, and my child had an absolute blast.
The hotel also has an adventure zone, a petting zoo, and you can even ride ponies and ostriches, which the kids really enjoyed.
The water park is also large and clean. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly when we visited, so we didn't go in, but it would be perfect for warmer weather.
💫 **Five-Star Service:** The hotel service was absolutely superb. Romy checked us in, and she was incredibly kind. She helped us resolve a breakfast issue and personally escorted us to the shuttle bus stop after check-in. Our luggage was also delivered directly to our room by a dedicated staff member – super nice.
This vacation was incredibly satisfying, and I will definitely choose Shangri-La again the next time I visit Sanya!
Ccocochancoco The hotel offers pick-up service, a free fish spa, and even complimentary game tokens for claw machines. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony perfect for drying clothes. Everything was great, except for its distance from the beach.
JJianerjiaomianhuaOverall, pretty good value for money, especially considering it was peak season around New Year's Eve, so there were more people. Despite that, the hotel beach was still very clear and clean. There aren't many commercial malls or attractions nearby; the closest is Baihua Valley. This makes it perfect for those who prefer a quiet and peaceful vacation. The scenery is fantastic, and the hotel's breakfast buffet offers great value and tastes delicious. For dinner, if you can't find a good place to eat out, the hotel's own BBQ set is a good option, with a wide variety of choices. Eating out anywhere else would easily cost a few hundred yuan. The room size was average, but perfectly sufficient for one person, and the cleanliness was decent. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews about the beds being damp, but once I arrived, I found that wasn't the case. It was dry and fresh during the day. Since it's near the sea, it can get a bit humid at night, so it's best to close the windows and balcony door early to avoid a slight dampness. Other than that, I didn't have high demands; the main point of a trip is to get out and enjoy. I'm generally satisfied.
MM1ruk84q6****The service at your hotel was truly impressive. From the moment I stepped into the lobby and received a warm greeting, every detail showcased professionalism and dedication. The rooms were meticulously cleaned, the food was excellent, and the staff consistently had a smile on their faces, always ready to assist. Whether it was the thoughtful advice from the concierge or the prompt restocking by housekeeping, I highly recommend this hotel.
YYimingshenmidelvxingjiaThe hotel offers beautiful views along the Dadonghai route; the waves aren't as rough as in Haitang Bay, and the sea is incredibly blue and crystal clear. The hotel amenities are very comprehensive, including its own small artificial beach and a rather large swimming pool.
Breakfast was excellent, meeting and slightly exceeding five-star standards. The restaurant staff's service attitude was particularly good. The gym is open 24 hours; while not huge, it's well-equipped.
The kids' club was the biggest highlight. Our 1.5-year-old baby had a great time. The indoor playground is more suitable for younger children, while the outdoor area is better for older kids. The room facilities are also very complete, with everything one could need, including baby food provided daily and the option to add a bed rail.
Special mention goes to our butler, Abby, who was incredibly responsive and practically granted every request, perfectly meeting all our needs. Finally, a minor point for improvement would be some occasional overlooked spots in terms of hotel cleanliness, which could be strengthened. Also, the hotel's underground parking seemed to be under maintenance recently, making parking a bit difficult.
MM41081****The sea at Haitang Bay is indeed more beautiful than at Yalong Bay!
The hotel bed was very comfortable; this old-school five-star still holds up! My mom has some mobility issues, and the front desk arranged a room close to the elevator for us. The live singer at night was excellent! We even had the good fortune to be invited to a romantic wedding of a newlywed couple.
If I had to mention any downsides, the breakfast taste and variety were really quite subpar, and the elevators were incredibly slow!

SShunqizirandetuziDue to my limited time, I ultimately chose the Grand Hyatt among the many hotels in Haitang Bay, and it was my first stay here. Although my three-day trip was short, it left a lasting impression, and I now realize my choice of hotel was absolutely perfect.
First, when I booked, I specifically called to request the highest floor available for my room type. Upon arrival, the check-in took a bit longer, possibly due to a large number of guests in the afternoon. While speaking with the front desk, I learned I had been assigned a 12th-floor suite. They asked if I needed a travel photoshoot. I casually asked if I could exchange it for afternoon tea or cocktails instead, not really expecting much, but to my surprise, the front desk readily agreed to give me a bottle of red wine.
I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view as soon as I entered the room – a wide, unobstructed ocean view. The room was well-equipped and very comfortable. My butler, MAX, was incredibly thoughtful, sending a welcome message and hotel information, and he was always quick and accurate in responding to my questions.
The hotel's landscaping is also beautiful. If you don't feel like venturing out, you can simply stroll around the grounds, or take a pleasant walk by the sea. The breakfast is extensive, but it can get quite crowded during peak hours; an alternative is the smaller restaurant in the North Tower. The 68 Food Street, right next to the hotel, is also worth a visit. After hearing my suggestions and feedback on my stay, the hotel even arranged a car to take me to the high-speed train station, which was a very thoughtful touch.
