"What an absolute gold mine of a hotel …. The little units had all you could want they were warm cosy clean and comfortable. With an absolute bonus of a heated bathroom floor.
We stayed a couple of nights and ate at Boots and Jandels and the Wrinkly Rams both delicious. We also went to the hot springs which were delightful.
The manager here was also so friendly and helpful I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone."

GGuest UserYou can easily reach the hotel from the airport by taking the #1 bus. It's about a 15-20 minute ride. Get off at the Blue Peak stop, walk back, and cross the road. It's also not far from the town center, just a 10-15 minute walk. The next bus stop after Blue Peak is the main town center station and the Intercity bus stop. However, be aware that walking to the town center involves going down a really steep hill, so walking from the town center back to the hotel means walking uphill. This is something to keep in mind if you're arriving in Queenstown by Intercity bus rather than by plane. Also, note that there are two hotels called 'Copthorne', likely related, but they are not adjacent. This one is closer to the town center and closer to the lake. The hotel is quite large, and surprisingly, you take an elevator down from the front desk to reach the rooms. I booked a lake view room, and the view was genuinely good. During the off-season, it wasn't expensive, only about 100-200 RMB more than a standard room, offering excellent value for money! The room was also quite spacious, really great!

The staff were so nice, and very good breakfast. We had a wonderful night. Near to the airport, only 25mins walking or 8 mins driving. For bus, you have to transfer twice.

이이진희We chose this hotel because we expected to enjoy its winery/food. Otherwise, we should have stayed in Queenstown with a lot of restaurants and pubs.
As we would arrive in the early evening, we put a note for our hope for experiencing their winery and food (or at least finger foods) when we booked the hotel, and received email that they cannot guarantee but will do their best to serve our need. Since then, no email was sent to us. When we arrived at the hotel around 6 pm, no one was in the information desk, so we had to go to the bistro to find out that they left the key in a safe box without any notice or sending us any email with its password. We had to wait a while for the bistro lady to make a phone call to whom it concerns, which was okay. Worse, we heard that their bistro was reserved for a group event so we could not use the facility at all. We had to drive 15 minutes to a nearby town and bought foods from a supermarket. I think the hotel should have notified us of impossibility of using their bistro/food service due to the group event and we have to prepare for our food. As I checked out, I left a note about the issues, and expected they would send me an email to express their sincere apology. Unfortunately nothing happened so far. Although I liked the room as well as the whole place very much, I think Kinross cottage needs professionalism to run their stay program. It could have been much nicer, memorable stay experience.

GGuest UserThe service at this hotel was excellent; the staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was the best, most varied, and most delicious we'd had since Christchurch. It seems the hotel is undergoing renovations, as there was a distinct smell of paint in the hallway, though the room itself was fine. The front desk is located by the lake, but the navigation system hasn't been updated yet. We arrived around 6 PM after dark, and the navigation led us to the street behind the hotel's old building.
The hotel lobby offers complimentary wine, chocolates, and cookies at different times throughout the day, which was lovely to enjoy after an afternoon walk.
However, there's one facility that definitely needs upgrading: the shower water pressure was extremely weak, and the water temperature was very unstable—either lukewarm or suddenly scalding hot. Overall, showering was very uncomfortable.
Aside from the shower, everything else about the hotel was very satisfying 👍

CCO518The handsome men and beautiful women at the front desk genuinely and sincerely helped guests with their questions and needs. My three-night stay was truly fantastic! The rooftop offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the cozy fireplace makes you feel like you're in a secluded paradise. Getting around is super convenient. After leaving Queenstown Airport, you only need to walk about 100 meters to find the #1 public transport bus. Remember to buy a transport card at the airport bookstore beforehand; it's very convenient and cheap, especially if you're traveling alone or with one other person. One card is all you need. To get to this hotel (Leloo Hotel), take the bus from the airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at Stanley Street, which is a major transport hub, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. You'll know it's the right stop because it's at the bottom of a big downhill road, with a large park on your right. The bus stops are conveniently divided into A, B, and C sections. Getting to Arrowtown only takes 25 minutes and costs 2.5 New Zealand dollars. There are many popular, Instagrammable shops nearby, like Fergburger. Even if you're vegetarian, don't worry, they all have Chinese menus.

The hotel rooms are very fancy, and there's even an open-air bathtub, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa.

MMandy PuaIt’s a vintage hotel, I’m surprised with the lift which is very old type of lift, the design very pretty and retro. Room is quite spacious for 4 adults. The heater is very powerful and strong. The hotel is located near to the town center and precinct street, just a few minutes of walk can reach.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right by the lake in Queenstown's town center. You can take a bus from the airport to Blue Peaks, then it's about a five-minute walk. The hotel itself is quite old, and the facilities are pretty basic. The breakfast wasn't great either, and the restaurant environment isn't very appealing. I'd recommend booking without breakfast; for the same price, you'd be better off getting brunch at a cafe by the lake. Most of the hotel staff, however, were very warm and friendly.

GGuest UserLooks like we got a recently renovated apartment. It was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was prompt whenever we needed it.Basement parking was available for our stay, and the unit was conveniently located next to a staircase leading directly to Stanley Street, where our ski bus pick-up point was. It was also less than a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Overall, no regrets—it was an excellent choice and great value for the price.

JJeannie Ch——Had 2 stuffed toys of great sentimental value removed from my room. One was my dog’s toy which we slept with and he had died only recently. Informed & explained to Duty Manager at night and front desk the next morning. They could not address my distress & anxiety as I was leaving to catch flight out. Just told me how improbable rhe incident is, doubted me and left me to simply wait for their news while they took time to check with the relevant departments. After waiting hours and receiving no response via phone call, WhatsApp and email, an understanding friend who is a NZer helped me call them to follow up. Only then, she found someone responsive enough to actively search. Disappointed with hotel’s general lack of understanding & poor response.
Other than above crucial point, hotel & room were nothing great despite their high rate. Other hotels charge as high like a more well known one across the road and friends thought it was better.
Other staff encountered were friendly and performed well.
Strongest point is its proximity to bus stop for key services to outer parts of Queenstown.
