The room was very clean and large. We arrived later than dinner time and communicated with the hotel staff in advance, and they still left us a sumptuous dinner. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming
The hotel environment is very good, the most impressive thing is that the breakfast is very rich, far exceeding expectations. The only fly in the ointment is that there is no free parking space, but parking nearby is also very convenient.
Except for not closing the house every day, there are almost no shortcomings. You can see Aurora without going out. They cook instant noodles in their parking lot. I am very happy.
Nice hotel, friendly staff at the counter and helpful as well. Theres a bus from evenes airport to thon hotel and a short 5 min walk to the hotel. Breakfast is good, there is also an option to do lunch takeaway
Absolutely stunning views, super convenient location, and the hotel facilities are top-notch. The staff are incredibly nice, and there are so many outdoor activities to choose from. The best part is being able to see the Northern Lights directly from the hotel!
This hotel is right next to Tromsø Airport, and there's an airport bus stop just outside. The bus ride itself only takes about 5 minutes, 😂 but the ticket costs over 100 RMB, which felt a bit steep. It's perfect for late-night arrivals, especially after a long 10+ hour journey; you can get to the hotel and rest quickly after landing.
The environment and facilities are pretty standard, on par with most hotels in Norway.
Service gets a thumbs up! I managed to snag a free coffee from the front desk when checking out in the morning.
Since the hotel is a bit away from the city center, there's less light pollution, and we were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights right from the rooftop terrace!
Hotel is conveniently located and just 2 mins walk to the Airport Express Bus. Also easy access to grocery stores, food and Tromso port. Its a simple budget hotel with small and comfortable room. There seemed to have machine for laundry at 3rd floor for 90kr a wash. The reception is also a bar to get your drinks. There are work space in front of the 'Barception'. Staffs were cool 😎
The views are incredible – from my room, I could see the Arctic Cathedral and the cable car. The location is excellent, and I was very satisfied with my three-night stay.
However, the cleaning service was a bit of an issue. For consecutive nights, they don't clean by default, and you have to book cleaning a day in advance. When we first entered our room, there were cleaning tools and dirty cups left by the cleaning staff. We put them outside our door, and they weren't taken away until noon the next day (I suspect the cleaning staff only works between 12 PM and 4 PM).
Towels aren't changed unless you go to the front desk to get fresh ones; nobody comes to change them for you. I understand the Nordic efficiency and the 'eco-friendly' approach, but considering the average daily room rate of around 3500 [currency, presumably NOK or equivalent], it's a bit disappointing. Of course, the price isn't the hotel's fault; all hotels in Tromsø have seen huge price hikes, and I heard it's much cheaper in the summer.
This was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of five! Cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. It is 10mins walk to the bus stop to the city, of 40mins walk across the bridge to the city, both of which were manageable for us. Note that there aren’t many restaurants nearby. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Tromso leg of our trip.
Nice, simple hotel with double bed, a small desk and closet bathroom but for the price, it was good enough for one night. Close distance away from Port, shopping mall, and tourist information as well as the Airport.
The man at the desk was very helpful getting us in to another room when the TV didn't work.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and new, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing – the best and most diverse we had on our entire trip, even better than the Radisson Blu in Oslo. It was incredible value for money. My only minor concern was that the door automatically locks itself one minute after being closed, which felt a bit less secure when leaving the room.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at the Dock 69 39 hotel. Super clean, very cosy, quiet and comfortable. Location is good, 10 min - 20min walk to all the meeting points to catch your experiences. Easy access from the airport with 42 bus. They offer a great breakfast selection so it is definitely worth it to add this option to your booking. The rooftop spot is also cool to go and check if the sky has some activity. The upper dock restaurant provides a great selection of the meals, very tasty as well. The only thing that is not worth paying (30e per person) for is a spa and sauna. If you are a regular user of sauna you will be very disappointed, we booked 1h30 min and when we came to use it, it was totally cold, we needed to wait 30 min to heat it up...the view is on another hotel bedrooms and cold swimming pool is used by another guests that didn't take shower after session in sauna. The resting place is so small, that you can't rest. No fruits, or other beverages, only water from the tap. If you are an occasional user and you don't care, you can try it. For us it is something that should not be charged additionally as it is not worth it. Overall this is a great hotel to enjoy Tromso. We can really recommend.
OONG JesslynThis room wasn’t as expected as I stayed in room 703 before. This room 225 was small for 3 adults. No space to open luggages. Lack of charging port. One charging point next to entrance of the door and placed so high that our cables wasn’t long enough to reach we have to pull a chair (see photo luggage height) The tv is spoilt too, u have to adjusted up and down to get TV to be working!!! You have to informed reception to open door to parking so that you can park your car inside, just pay a fee. I love the breakfast buffet.

GGuest UserHad to use the next door hotel for meals (same group) but the food was very good - lovely atmosphere in both hotels - perfectly situated for the center - had a room overlooking the harbour which was great - would stay there again

CcookieFacilities: There's a kettle, and disposable items like shower caps are provided.
Cleanliness: Very clean and hygienic, with a great Nordic-style decor.
Service: Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast service are all excellent.
Location: Absolutely central, convenient for getting anywhere. Close to the shopping street, the station, and the hotel itself is a hub for many tours and activities.
What I didn't expect was how dry it is here (compared to the UK).
The view from the window is as shown in the picture.
