The stay was fantastic! The room was spotless and well-ventilated. The staff were polite and professional, offering attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation access and a great variety of restaurants nearby. They even recommended some local attractions, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back!

On our first night, we were given a street-facing room, and the noise from passing traffic disturbed us in the mornings. After a quick chat with the front desk, the staff immediately and graciously moved us to a larger, quieter room at no extra charge. Their problem-solving efficiency was excellent, and their attitude was incredibly gentle. We also received complimentary breakfast during our stay, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. The location is very convenient. It's a short taxi ride to Baoguo Temple, Fuhu Temple, and the Maluqiao Food Street, making it easy to get around with kids. The overall ambiance is a quiet, comfortable, and clean new-Chinese Zen-style courtyard. When traveling, such genuine and thoughtful service is a rare find. They didn't pass the buck when problems arose and made every effort to help guests. If I ever return to the foot of Mount Emei, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again. I genuinely recommend it to families traveling with children.

This time in Chengdu, I chose the City Celebrity Hotel as my base and stayed for three consecutive nights. The hotel is right by Tianfu Square, just a few minutes' walk to Tianfu Square subway station. Whether it's strolling through People's Park to visit the Hemming Teahouse, taking a leisurely walk to Kuanzhai Alley, or rushing to Xipu for the high-speed train to Mount Qingcheng, the entire route is smooth, without needing to take a single extra step. The room was quiet and spacious; as soon as I opened the door, a sense of calm filled the space. The thoughtful touches of an old-brand five-star hotel are hidden in the details. Located in the heart of the city center, it's free from the hustle and bustle, yet it perfectly captures the vibrant atmosphere of Chengdu. A large part of the relaxed feeling of this trip came from this hotel.

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

My stay at Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu was incredibly satisfying! The room was clean and new, the bedding was very comfortable, and the high-floor window offered a great view. The hotel is connected to The Ring shopping mall downstairs, making it very convenient for getting around and shopping. The staff, especially Mauve, provided attentive and thoughtful service. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely choose Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu again next time I visit Chengdu.

I didn't have much of a detailed plan for my short trip to Chengdu this time; I randomly booked this hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was raining lightly on the day I arrived, and I got a bit wet dragging my luggage. As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, I immediately felt a sense of warmth. The front desk staff noticed me and proactively offered tissues. The check-in process was relaxed and unhurried; they didn't just rush through the procedures and even kindly reminded me to be careful of slippery surfaces due to the rain. The first impression when I entered the room was how fresh and clean it was, with no stuffy odors. The layout was simple and comfortable. The bedding was neat and soft, and the lighting was gentle and not harsh. After a long journey, coming back to the room allowed me to completely relax. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, with all the corners well-maintained. The water flow was smooth, and the overall bathroom experience was excellent. The hotel's soundproofing was good; it was very quiet at night, and I had a peaceful and solid night's sleep. At one point, when I went out, I accidentally left my umbrella near the elevator. I thought it would be difficult to get back, but I decided to contact the front desk just in case. The staff quickly helped me check the surveillance footage and successfully retrieved my item. This small incident particularly warmed my heart. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, but what was most remarkable was the genuine service. It wasn't just a rigid formality but sincere and thoughtful care from the heart. It's suitable for both leisure travel and business trips. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will choose this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu.

The hotel offers a mini-bus service to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff are very friendly, and there are good dining options nearby. It's a great place to rest and recuperate after visiting Jiuzhaigou. Overall, it's good value for money and highly recommended for travelers.

Objectively speaking, the front desk service was excellent, and the hotel lobby and courtyard environment were also very good! However, there was a strange smell in the hallway, and an indescribable odor in the room itself. When I got into bed after washing up at night, the duvet and sheets felt damp and uncomfortable. There was also a persistent smell of urine, which wasn't coming directly from the duvet or sheets, but it lingered throughout the night. I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep well. In the morning, I woke up with many red bumps on my arms and legs. I've booked so many hotels on Ctrip, mostly prioritizing a good environment, and this is the only one that has given me such a bad experience. It's the only hotel that has made me feel this uncomfortable. I originally planned to give feedback to the front desk when checking out, but there was a family of foreign tourists complaining, so I just left without saying much. Anyway, the service itself was commendable!

The room facilities were complete and well-maintained; the mattress was just the right firmness, the shower had stable water pressure, and the lighting design was very comfortable. The room had good natural light, and the cleanliness was meticulous, with even the corners spotless. The overall atmosphere was serene and comfortable, the hardware was excellent, and the stay felt very relaxing. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I had a truly reassuring stay at the Mercure Chengdu Taikoo Li Chunxi Hotel, especially concerning the cleanliness. The room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was pristine and soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Every corner was spotless, and there wasn't a hint of any unpleasant odors. The front desk staff were very attentive during check-in, proactively explaining the room features, and the response time from the concierge was very quick whenever I had a request. The room had good natural light and excellent soundproofing, allowing me to get a peaceful rest after a busy day of exploring. The hotel's proximity to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road made getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience, suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I highly recommend it!
