The place is near to the port. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast option very less. The room is very spacious like suite but the cleanliness need to improve. The pool is big and clean.

Charming Boutique Stay in the Heart of Ipoh. A lovely boutique hotel beautifully furnished and centrally located in Ipoh. We especially enjoyed the cozy lobby and its charming Art Deco touches. Rooms are limited, so it’s best to book early, particularly during holidays and festive seasons. We stayed in a duplex room, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The room was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a hair dryer, slippers, a filtered water dispenser, a Nespresso coffee machine, and disposable toiletries—more than what you’d typically expect from many hotels. Breakfast was very decent, with made-to-order options such as Western dishes or local nasi lemak. There are also plenty of local coffee shops and eateries nearby if you’d like to explore other breakfast choices. The hotel’s location is a major plus. It’s within walking distance of popular Ipoh attractions like Concubine Lane, Memory Lane Market, and Mural Art’s Lane, as well as the famous Lao Wang beansprout chicken. There are also numerous food options around, and it’s just across from Palo 101, a trendy spot popular with youngsters and a regular venue for New Year’s countdown celebrations. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay in Ipoh.

The property is run under Tui Blue and operates like a hotel. Very clean so that is a plus for us. The living area is just nice and balcony offers good view of mountains and the housing estates of Ipoh Garden, Bercham. Breakfast was a no fuss affair and efficient. Walk around the property is surprisingly calming. Only problem I had was the hot water in the shower. The knob can be burning hot since it is not premixed. Free drinks in the fridge definitely a nice touch though.

A beautiful and peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat offers breathtaking scenery, privacy, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The villa was elegant and comfortable, and the hot spring facilities were exceptional. What made the stay even better was the staff — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at D’Kelly Hotel. It’s a new and modern hotel, and everything feels fresh, clean, and well-maintained. The room was very comfortable and equipped with high-tech facilities, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed was new and very cozy, perfect for a good night’s rest. The facilities are impressive, especially the nice swimming pool, which is great for relaxing. There is also a café next door that opens until 2am, so it’s very convenient if you get hungry late at night. Overall, the hotel offers great comfort, modern design, and excellent value for money. The environment is pleasant, and it’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into making guests feel comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice and comfortable stay in this area. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are clean, beds, pillows are comfortable. The hotel is located together with the Taiping Mall and a short walk away to the Larut Matang market. I booked 2 connecting rooms. I called to the hotel to ask if they have connecting room, and they told me to book premier rooms as only premier rooms have connecting room. I booked as per advised and also put a remark that I want connecting rooms. Upon check-in, the receptionist told us the rooms are not available. I questioned them why they asked us to book premier rooms and now telling us not available? If the rooms are not available I could have book the standard room instead. After I questioned them only they gave us the connecting rooms. I think they may not want to give us the connecting rooms if we do not insist.

It was an alright stay. Bathroom is really spacious, bedroom is weirdly shaped due to being a corner unit but acceptable. Basic bathroom amenities are there, limited TV channels. Lift and the entire of 2nd floor and room did smell of cigarettes when I checked in, and it was a bit off putting. I try not to look too much into the details such as peeling wallpapers and A/C that doesn't work as regularly as it should (sometimes cold, most of the time just OK despite no changes in the temperature settings). Location was superb. It's a short drive to pretty much everywhere I need to access during my business trip, so that's a plus. For it's price, I can't complain much. But if I'm particular, topping up a little bit more could get me a more recently renovated hotel (C***tel) with equally accessible location.

1. Stayed for 2D1N with my parents and kids. 2. The resort is located quite far from the nearest town. It takes about 40 minutes to drive to Sitiawan, so it can be inconvenient if you plan to go out for lunch or dinner. The road leading to the resort is also quite dark at night. 3. The breakfast spread looks quite extensive, but in terms of food quality, I feel it could be improved. Compared with Shangri-La, which often serve items like beef, satay, salmon, and more premium selections, the breakfast here was more basic, with standard options like nasi lemak, roti canai, and typical local breakfast items. 4. For the kids’ pool area, the water flow from the large tipping bucket is quite strong. My kids seemed a little scared to play directly under it, so it might be good if the water pressure could be moderated. 5. There are also quite a number of house rules around the resort, while order is good, the delivery feels a bit ”school-like” rather than a relaxed holiday environment. 6. The cleanliness of the resort is excellent. The staff are friendly, polite, and very helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, making it comfortable for families. 7. Overall, it is still a worthwhile place to stay, especially if you are looking for a quiet resort getaway.

Cannot remember how many times we have repeat this hotel when going to Lumut. Location is strategic..breakfast got so many choices and delicious..view from our room also great..staff are also polite ang friendly..surely will repeat if we manage to come here again.
