Hotels With bar in Perak, Malaysia

On the day I checked in, I left my things in the room and I went shopping. I did leave a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. When I came back, the minute I put down my shopping, someone tried to open my door. Looked through my peep hole and saw a middle aged woman. The key obviously did not work. She left after a while but came back with a bell boy who rang in my doorbell. I opened the door and bellboy apologised and asked if I was staying here. I said I have checked in at 3pm. Bellboy pointed at two luggages and said he sent them to the wrong room? Wait what? Whose are these? The woman said they were hers. Bell boy said he delivered them to the wrong room. Next, front desk called me and asked for my name. Not to apologise but ask for my identity. She confirmed that there’s been a mistake in assigning rooms. I asked her what do I need to do. She said nothing. No apologies. I asked her why the bellboy entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was there. No answer. My advise to those who choose to stay here - double lock your doors and keep your valuables with you. They did not respect my DND sign and entered my room.

This was our second stay here. First, a lovely lady at the front desk (apologies, I didn't catch her name tag) provided very attentive and detailed service. She proactively explained many check-in specifics and shared upgrade offers. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff clearly missed some things and didn't thoroughly check if all in-room amenities were complete. The pillowcases weren't on the pillows, the conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom were empty, and there was only one tissue left in the box. When I called the front desk for these supplies, some were still missing when they were delivered. Hilton is a well-known upscale international hotel, and such oversights really shouldn't happen. I hope to see improvement on our next visit.

Love the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature. HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby. Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Had a lovely long weekend getaway and stayed in the sea villas. The facilities were amazing with fresh water pools, tennis courts, gym and several restaurants with an excellent food selection. Our favourite was fisherman's cove which had more of a western cuisine. Overall we had a really pleasant stay. However having stayed at other similar resorts at a similar price it felt like it was lacking. I know how can I complain about staying in paradise? The area for improvement would be: an additional hose shower head instead of just the overhead one. Cleanliness of the library area. Greeting cold towels and drinks at the main lobby. Selection of shampoos, soaps and moisturisers. Eco-friendly toothbrush and energy controller with key card. Aircon and lights had to be turned off manually if we left the room. I would definitely go again but it would be nice if they took on more eco friendly initiatives.

THe location is fine, a bunch of local restaurants are next to it, as well as convenient stores. The other side , there is a huge shopping mall, which is a good place for shopping / food. Not far away from Train station as well as the city centre. What you need is the APP Grab , and 15mins. Breakfast was included in our booking, and the food was fine; there were more varieties on Sunday than Monday. The swimming pool is pretty good. If you go there by 7:30, you can enjoy the stunning sun rise view. Overall, highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Ipoh for few days.

This is my fourth time staying at Beverly Hotel taiping, and I’ve had a great experience every time. The environment is pleasant, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth and hassle-free, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The location is also convenient, as it’s close to Taiping Central. Overall, everything was excellent. Keep up the good work—it’s always a nice place to stay!

Bedrock Ipoh exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Check-in was seamless and wonderfully warm, setting the perfect tone for our stay. A special mention to Debbie, who was an outstanding host — bringing a genuine family feel and going above and beyond to help us plan our time in Ipoh. Her local food recommendations were nothing short of amazing! The room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail impressed us — a Chinese tea set, Nespresso machine, filtered water dispenser, and a luxurious bath tub complete with bath salts. Every amenity was in perfect working order and housekeeping maintained an impeccable standard throughout. A solid 5 stars — highly recommended!

The room was spacious and the living room was fully equipped. It felt like facing the tropical rainforest, very quiet, and the pools were numerous and fun. There's a 500-meter lakeside running track, giving you the feeling of running in a tropical rainforest. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has strict security management, and the overall environment is very quiet, making it a great resort for long stays.

There's one drawback: the parking is on the 6th floor. Driving a large, 7-seater right-hand drive car up to the 6th floor was a nightmare. However, the staff were great. When my child had a fever at 3 AM, the front desk attendant on duty brought us a temporal thermometer, which was really helpful.
