Well located hotel just 2-3 mins walk from Pitlochary Station exit to hotel back gate 👍🏻. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in providing/recommend places of interests. Breakfast is a must have, pretty good with traditional dining area.  Room are clean, well maintained and spacious (room facing Garden). The Dam and Fish Ladder is just 20mins walk from the hotel. We enjoyed are stay at Mercure in Perth It was central, yet quiet. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We also liked the hotel bar, a nice cosy atmosphere. We would definitely stay there again.

The room is large, the bed is comfortable, the layout is warm, the restaurant downstairs is very delicious.

What a lovely weekend stay at this most characterful resort hotel. Surprisingly, this store has been around for more than 300 years. Very attractive to silver hair people from all directions Stayed for 3 nights and got along well with grandparents The price is right, it is a very good experience. This hotel is in a great location, very close to the riverside and the museum...

Very nice scenic, good for couples or family to relax, enjoy the nature and the sun. Restaurant’s food is in good quality. Good selection of drinks. Room was a bit old with old carpet and bed. Probably need renovation. Evaluator not working so we need to take the stairs with our luggage’s.

On arrival we were allocated a very small, went back to reception and this was sorted. My gripe is the now £10.00 per day parking charge. However you can park elsewhere for free. This will now make choosing the Angus hotel as not a first option as the main reason for going is the spa facilities unfortunately they are now getting tired and in need of TLC as is the hotel.

Not the easiest to find if not using satnav but in a very tranquil location. Large carpark. Nearest shops about an 8 minute drive away. Very nice hotel but rooms could be done being modernised. Bed a bit too firm for us. Very welcoming staff. Very good breakfast with a good choice and made to order hot food. Did not have dinner. Can go for a quiet walk along the river.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

We had a small cute, comfortable, quiet old-fashioned room. Slept well. Everything was nice and clean. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and great family service. Wood book again. Thank you
