This is the best hostel where I've stayed in all of China and one of the best in the world! It is extremely clean, all the amenities are modern, comfortable and very well maintained. It is walking distance from the big modern Urumqi train station. While a bit far from downtown (Urumqi is huge) downstairs there are restaurants, 24hour markets and everything necessary. And the owner and workers are extremely helpful, they helped me with everything. This was my first stop in China and it took me some days to download and set up all the apps and getting used to things in China. This was the perfect place for that. If I am back in Urumqi I would always stay here.

This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

Everything is beautiful here. Location is just perfect, just right next to bus transfer area. Our butler,xiao fang is very helpful indeed. She explained everything in detail and very responsive too. Would definitely love to stay here again if i come back here again in near future.

First things first, this is clearly a knock-off ‘Hampton by Hilton’ - branding the same, room design the same, and to be fair they’ve done a decent job of it. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, that’s about as positive as I can be about my stay. The location is fine, albeit not many good local restaurants or sights within walking distance, you’ll need to get a taxi. Service at front desk was inattentive and unprofessional. When I tried to use the phone in the room to call front desk and/or housekeeping, the line automatically disconnected. The worst aspect of my stay was the “smart” aspects of the room. Firstly, the aircon does not work. It was 34/35 degrees throughout my stay and despite putting the aircon on 16 degrees with maximum fans, the temperature in the room barely dropped below 27/28 degrees all night. Bring your own fan! The “smart” controls meant that all the lights in the bathroom came on as soon as you moved, which is not what you want in the middle of the night. Equally, the control panel was blinking constantly, right next to the bed, which was very annoying if that kind of thing affects your sleep (it does mine). Worst of all was the TV that simply would not turn off, and was incredibly bright, right in front of the bed. I ended up having to dismount the TV from the wall and completely unplugging it just to get the room semi-dark. Incredibly annoying. If you want a dark room, with a comfortable temperature, this is not the place for you… Its a shame, because the hotel has potential, but as it is I can’t recommend it given these fairly fundamental issues.

Before coming to Altay, I saw the 5-diamond Jiyuhe, but I didn't expect to go to Osaka for a ski trip. The design and decoration of the lobby are very pleasing to the eye. The whole team is professional and enthusiastic in service. The room is clean and spacious, with all the necessary supplies. The bed is soft and comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is rich and varied and very delicious. The housekeeper is enthusiastic and patient to solve any small problems. I highly recommend it.

Great location near the grand bazzar, lot of restaurants around and convenient stores on the ground floor. Plenty of bottled water for guest. Love the washing machine and dryer for light traveller / backpacker like us. Manager/Staffs understand English as well as very helpful for travel arrangements. Will be back again.

We had a long layover in Urumqi so decided to stay the night here. It was very nice. They provided shuttle service to and from the airport which is very nearby. It is easy to get into town as it is also not very far away. We enjoyed the gift of free dried fruit as well. The room was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful.

Although the room is not big, it has everything you need. It is equipped with two washbasins, the toilet and bathroom are separate, the whole house is smart, and one of the pillows is a buckwheat pillow, which is very good. The service attitude is also very good. The aunt at the door will greet you every time you enter and exit the door. Two cups of hot tea and coffee coupons are given when you check in. There are also self-service laundry machines and dryers that can be used. The only downside is that one elevator was being renovated when I went there, and the other elevator was slower.

This space capsule bed is very good and comfortable for me. It's conveniently located and you just go up one floor to check in your flight. I recommend travellers this space capsule bed because even if you take a 6 hour stop over or transit to rest. The staff here are friendly and helpful.

This accommodation boasts the best location, right next to the famous Hemu Bridge and the closest point to access the viewing platform for stunning dawn or sunrise photography. There are numerous restaurants nearby, and we enjoyed complimentary welcome coffees and mini ice creams. The soothing sound of the Hemu riverside flowing nearby added to the overall experience.

Service: The reception ladies at the lobby door were very enthusiastic and helped me carry my luggage as soon as I got off the bus. It is directly just opposite the ancient city of Kashgar. Very convenient to get cabs to other points of interest and back to airport. It is an oasis of calm when you are inside with one of the better buffet breakfast spread and elegant dining room to be enjoyed compared to a lot of other China hotels we went to. The ancient city can get very commercialized with a whole row of loud night entertainment joints facing the hotels opposite but non the less for us with inner room facing, it was not noticeable at all. The Kashgar TV Tower is just a short walking distance down the road which is a must see for its observation deck for a bird’s eye view of the city. At night with the lights on ( the ancient city and tower) it is just magical! Furthermore if you buy a certain amount in it’s gift shop you can get a free ticket to go up. Will definitely book this hotel again if coming back.

Great location,on a busy street close to everything. Since cars are not allowed in old town, this hotel is not too far inside old town, a taxi can drop you off and take only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Hotel is very clean, the owner even gave me a free tour of the area, like The 100 year old tea store, where a free show is performed with camels and dancers, the 柱子街,油画街,彩虹🌈巷.I would definitely come back as a (归来客)the next time I am in kashgar （喀什）. She knows about the area very well,just ask her like the 1 reminbi bus ride (the number 20yellow bus only)to 香妃园

I booked this hotel in Kashgar. The location is really good. It's right in the city center. There is a shopping mall just around the corner when I go out. It's very convenient for shopping. There are many bus stops nearby, so it's not too far to go to any scenic spot, which is quite practical. The room is in good sanitary condition and cleaned every day, making you feel at ease during your stay. In terms of service, the front desk and room service are very good. If you have any questions, please contact them and the response is very fast. The staff are friendly and serve with a smile, which makes people feel very comfortable. There are many kinds of breakfast, including Chinese and Western food. It tastes homely and can be full and delicious. It is especially suitable for those of us who want to eat warmly when we are out. The room layout is simple and comfortable, the bed is quite soft, and I had a good night's rest. Perfect location above the lively old town main food street with nicely decorated, spacious rooms and a balcony where it is easy to relax and people watch on the street below. Fast WiFi too, and a powerful aircon unit. Definitely recommended. We liked it so much we returned for a second, longer stay. (Note that being in the pedestrian-only old city you can’t drive directly to the hotel but it’s only 5 minutes walk from the nearest taxi drop-off and about 10 minutes walk from public parking.)
