Longlidiansi。The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to Narati, which is a big plus! The hotel itself is large with a spacious lobby, but its size also means it can be a bit confusing to navigate. It could use more staff. Breakfast was decent; there was a good variety, but the taste was just okay. As for facilities, I particularly want to mention the laundry room. It really needs an update. I had to search for it, finding it in an adjacent building and quite tucked away. In the end, I couldn't iron my clothes due to insufficient facilities and had to go back. The room is a bit old-fashioned but fully equipped, giving off vibes of hotels from a decade ago during an economic boom. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but I'm deducting points because I found a centipede-like insect in the room just before check-out (perhaps due to the excellent natural environment?).

Guest UserMy overall stay at Wanda Meihua Hotel in Tashkurgan was excellent. The hotel lobby is spacious and grand, with modern and refined decor that creates a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making check-in swift and patiently answering all my questions about travel routes. The breakfast in the restaurant offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients, including delicious local specialties. My room was spacious and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding and a spotless bathroom. The room was equipped with an oxygen machine and humidifier, which greatly alleviated any discomfort from the high altitude and significantly improved my sleep quality. It's also conveniently located for trips to Panlong Ancient Road and Khunjerab Pass. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Tashkurgan!!!!!

This hotel is excellent! Our room had a direct view of the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' in the afternoon, which was stunning. A big thanks to the manager for upgrading us to a room with a bathtub. The hotel itself is very new and modern. The next day, they conveniently arranged a complimentary transfer to the airport. The complimentary souvenir, especially the milk jujubes with nuts inside, was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse, with a great selection of tasty side dishes. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Travis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that.
She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met.
It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here.
Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed.
While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information.
The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate).
The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean.
Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever.

PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

Guest UserThe hotel is very close to the Kalajun entrance, about a 5-kilometer drive. Follow the navigation; the gravel road is narrow but don't hesitate. The moment you see the room, all your fatigue will melt away. The shower room and separate wet/dry bathroom are clean and hygienic, completely free from the inconveniences of staying in a tent camp. Lying on the bed, pull open the 360-degree curtains, and the surrounding scenery fills your view. Open the electric curtain on the dome, and you can see the sky. If you still have energy, before sunset, go for a one or two-hour horseback ride to enjoy the grassland sunset—it's incredibly pleasant. The hotel's service is very thoughtful and meticulous, and it has its own restaurant where you can order dinner, which tastes pretty good. Breakfast is a buffet and quite rich. The highlight, though, is the starry sky after dusk, which truly cures everything. To avoid light pollution, the hotel thoughtfully turns off the ambient lights. In the morning, open the curtains and you can watch the sunrise. This is a hotel that constantly provides pleasant surprises.

Maidoumm^(oo)^Booked two rooms here. Originally, we planned to stay in Fuyun because we were going to Tianchi the next day. However, since we'd already made it all the way to Urumqi, we decided to stay for a night and explore. We booked this hotel last minute. It's very close to the Grand Bazaar, about an 8-10 minute walk, and the area around it is bustling with activity. Finding food is super convenient; there are restaurants and a small mall downstairs. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the great location makes up for it! It really depends on what you're looking for.

Anonymous UserThe shuttle only runs once every half hour, and I waited for quite a while at the airport pick-up point for it to arrive. The hotel isn't really close to the airport; it's about a 20-minute drive. The room was compact but overall decent. The facilities are a bit old, but the room decor isn't bad for its class, and it was clean with a comfortable bed. The only downside was a noisy and unorganized senior tour group checking in, which made the front desk quite chaotic.

Excellent service and a very clean, spacious room with comfortable bedding. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance of the ancient city. Popular spots like the century-old teahouse, Id Kah Mosque, Rainbow Alley, Buidai Alley, 'Grandpa's Grandpa's Father's Nang' (a famous naan shop), and Oil Painting Street are all just a stone's throw from Guilai Inn. There are plenty of local eateries downstairs, making dining very convenient. The owner is very welcoming, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The night views are beautiful and captivating. Plus, there are bus stops nearby for easy access to the airport and train station. It was a pleasant trip and I highly recommend it; you definitely won't regret staying at this inn.

Fanfan129This stay exceeded my expectations! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful; they proactively upgraded my room for free upon arrival. The new room was much more spacious, with better lighting and views. The hotel itself is very new and spotlessly clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. All the amenities were comprehensive, and transportation was convenient. The staff were gentle and patient, and check-in was efficient and swift. The value for money is absolutely outstanding. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!
