A rather mediocre experience. I've been a Ctrip member for 15 years and rarely leave bad reviews, so I'll give this a passing grade of 3.0. The main reasons for the average experience were: 1. My baby had a fever in the middle of the night and couldn't get up the next day. I wanted to take some breakfast back to the room, but they wouldn't allow it, and the staff's attitude was quite stiff. At over 1700 RMB for two nights for three adults and one child, the price wasn't cheap. Since the hotel couldn't be understanding towards me, I can't be understanding towards them in my rating. 2. There must be floor heating or central air conditioning, because the room was extremely dry, even drier than indoors in Beijing during the heating season.

My child absolutely loved this room! Besides being spacious, it was incredibly well-equipped. They even provided free earplugs and makeup remover wipes, not to mention complimentary tricycles and bicycles for exploring the ancient city. It was very quiet at night, making for a peaceful sleep. And the front desk staff? Their service was exceptional – truly made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast, served on a street in the ancient city, was just a few hundred meters away.

This was my first time visiting Pingyao Ancient City, and this guesthouse truly deserves its five-star rating. The overall decor creates an incredible ambiance. The courtyard offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, while the interior design is elegant and grand, exuding classical beauty at every turn! The room layout and furnishings show impeccable taste. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness; every corner was spotless, and the facilities were complete and a pleasure to use. The front desk lady and all the staff were dedicated, thoughtful, and handled everything gracefully and generously. You could feel their genuine sincerity and enthusiasm everywhere. Staying in such a comfortable place during my trip made the experience exceptionally pleasant. I highly, highly recommend it!!!

This is by far the best value five-star hotel in Taiyuan. The management is well-organized, and the hygiene is consistently excellent, making you feel right at home. Both the facilities and services are well-maintained. The surrounding area offers a complete range of commercial amenities and convenient transportation, with a subway entrance right next to the hotel. Tianmei and Beimei New World shopping centers are just next door. Overall, it's great value for money. The only minor drawback is that it's an older hotel and could use a full renovation. Given that Shanxi is a strong tourist province, a refurbishment would certainly justify a price increase.

I got drunk at a work dinner last night and woke up past 10 AM, missing breakfast. I called the front desk and asked the guy there if I could get some fruit. He was super helpful and immediately arranged a whole breakfast from the kitchen, which was delivered to my room by a robot. I felt much better after eating. The service and care here are absolutely top-notch 👍. I'll definitely book Wanda again for my next business trip!

It has all the essentials and is very clean. The mattress was comfortable. Of course, it can't compare to high-end or luxury hotels. Its main advantage is its excellent location; it's very convenient for exploring, and you can easily pop back for a rest when you get tired. **Service:** The staff were very service-oriented. When we arrived, there weren't many guests, and the service was very attentive. **Breakfast:** It's not a buffet; it's a fixed-menu breakfast, like a 'nine-grid' style. It looks very appealing, and the taste is decent enough to fill you up. Overall, it's a good stay. Naturally, for this price point within the ancient city, you shouldn't compare it to hotels of the same price outside. It's incomparable, primarily due to its superb geographical advantage.

This hotel, located on a dedicated floor within an apartment building, truly exceeded our expectations in terms of design, service, and ambiance. My parents especially loved the complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails offered daily. The room's design and layout were very well thought out and practical. The WeChat concierge service was incredibly responsive and always ready to help! The location is fantastic, less than 2 km from the Shanxi Museum, and next to a shopping mall. We even caught a movie when it rained, and there are plenty of dining options nearby – super convenient!

The complimentary shuttle service to and from the station was a huge plus for us. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was also very generous, and the room itself was clean and tidy. A truly fantastic hotel!

As expected of a nationwide chain brand, the rooms were spacious and new, with a Scandinavian design style that I love. After arriving, we dropped off our luggage and went to eat. It's incredibly close to MixC shopping mall, just a few minutes away – practically a quick hop-in, hop-out trip. The taxi drivers in Taiyuan were also very friendly, recommending fun things to do and good places to eat at MixC. It's also a pet-friendly hotel, and my friend and I were very satisfied with our stay 👍. The room was very warm, and the sunlight streaming through the walls during the day looked especially beautiful 🥰🥰. It was very comfortable to sleep in at night. In Taiyuan's weather, we didn't need to turn on the air conditioning at all, perfect for someone like me who gets irritated by dry air when traveling from the south to the north. The hotel even gave us complimentary fruit and stone cakes! I was so impressed that I went on a stone cake-buying spree at the airport back home. Overall, highly recommended!
