The environment and design of Wantoo B&B are warm and comfortable, and the coffee shop in the courtyard has a very romantic ambiance. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the breakfast is well-balanced. The owner, who prepares breakfast, mentioned that the breakfast menu changes daily, but unfortunately, we only stayed for two days, and indeed, the breakfasts were different on both days. The front desk lady had an excellent service attitude. Since there aren't many supermarkets in the old town, it's hard to find fruit, but she kindly gave us apples and pears. The B&B offers free bicycles and tricycles, and spending a day cycling freely around the old town was truly delightful. It was a genuinely great experience.

My baby had a fever in the middle of the night and couldn't get up the next day. I wanted to take some breakfast back to the room, but they wouldn't allow it, and the staff's attitude was quite stiff. At over 1700 RMB for two nights for three adults and one child, the price wasn't cheap. Since the hotel couldn't be understanding towards me, I can't be understanding towards them in my rating. 2. There must be floor heating or central air conditioning, because the room was extremely dry, even drier than indoors in Beijing during the heating season.

I've always loved Kempinski, and this Taiyuan location offered another excellent overall experience. The service was top-notch, with prompt responses to all my requests. The hotel is conveniently located near the commercial district, and it's less than a 20-minute drive from the South Railway Station. The call center always went above and beyond, being very generous with their assistance. Staying on a higher floor with a street view also provided a nice outlook. The only, and I mean *only*, thing is that it would have been even better if the breakfast selection could have been a bit more diverse. My child was very happy too.

Song Sheng Chang Inn is right on Pingyao Ancient City's bustling South Street, making it super convenient for visiting all the attractions. They also have their own restaurant and offer travel photography services, which is really handy. The inn itself used to be a 'piaohao' (a traditional bank), so it has a fantastic historical atmosphere. The owners are incredibly welcoming and always happy to answer any questions. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Pingyao!

Centrally located in the ancient city, right next to Gulou, and within walking distance to attractions like Jiulongbi, Huayan Temple, and Daiwangfu. Great food options like Longjuxiang are also nearby. It's so convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest when you're tired before continuing your sightseeing. The hotel staff are all very polite and always greet you with a smile. The hotel is very clean, and the drinks in the mini-fridge are surprisingly affordable, even cheaper than outside! We specially tried the recommended Chinese restaurant, and the food was delicious, especially the ribs – so tender they practically melt in your mouth, absolutely amazing. I was very satisfied with this stay and hope the hotel continues to thrive.
