It was a very interesting visit to this section of the Great Wall of China. Beautiful scenery, a steep route, and an engaging Russian-speaking guide, Volodya. The only downside was the huge queues going up and down in the scorching sun; we lost a total of three hours. Perhaps because it was a weekend.★

Yesterday we went on a tour of the Forbidden City. The tour, "Ek kur Iya," was in English, and our guide, Jia, lasted about four hours. We were very pleased; the guide explained everything clearly and thoroughly, answered all our questions, and even monitored the group's well-being to ensure we didn't overheat or get tired. I recommend it to everyone. Everything was well-organized, and they sent us the meeting time and location in advance. A huge thank you to Jia and the organizers.★

It's worth a visit; you can explore the museum before dinner, and there was also a short performance in front of the building. The dishes are unusual; you wouldn't order something like this for yourself, but here's a chance to try it.Trip.com picks
