I chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. We absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are cozy with great mattresses and comfortable pillows, new plumbing, and everything is spotless. The room has everything you need, and the toiletries are high-quality. The spa complex is fantastic, featuring a pool, hammam, Finnish sauna, and a gym. The restaurant has a terrace with a view of the Old Town, and the food is delicious. Breakfasts are excellent.

During hot weather, the hotel pool is a great place to spend time. BUT!!! The pool is a huge plus, and simultaneously a huge negative because access to it is open to absolutely everyone for a fee, and on Sundays it's a nightmare – it's Ladies' Day, and you simply can't get near the pool. What's more, women swim not in proper closed swimsuits, but in whatever they arrived in, and get this, even in street shoes! No one pays attention, but it's unhygienic! On other days, conversely, ONLY men come. And as a woman, I feel uncomfortable when dozens of male eyes stare at me in my swimsuit! The hotel room costs $100 for one person, which isn't the cheapest price for Bukhara. The management should prioritize the comfort of hotel guests! Otherwise, the rooms are large and spacious, with everything you need: towels, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo. The breakfast is delicious, with a great selection and everything is absolutely tasty. Special thanks to the chef for the porridges. My stomach was tired of pilaf and shashlik after a month, so kudos for the buckwheat and oatmeal!

The overall experience was good, but the overall facilities are a bit old (perhaps this is the standard in Uzbekistan), and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The service attitude is polite but not very enthusiastic. It should be noted that you need to pay an additional tourist tax of about 50 RMB to get the small white receipt, and you must pay in cash, which is different from what was written on Ctrip. I am a bit speechless.

總體還可以吧。酒店很新，主要缺點是房間有點小，我以前遠離市區能大點。結果除了大床剩下沒什麼空間。酒店一層有ATM，早餐很不錯，西式加烏式，水果有草莓很贊。打車方便離古城不遠十公里，酒店對面有烤包子，離一公里有餐廳，可以叫外賣。

I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. On my last day, my train schedule suddenly changed, departing an hour earlier. Even though it was early in the morning, I requested a transfer from the hotel to the train station. The staff member who checked me in was incredibly kind and helpful; despite my limited English, she made a great effort to understand me, and I really appreciated her hospitality. The driver who took me to the station was also very safe, and I was so grateful for the early morning ride. The breakfast was delicious too. The hotel had minimal amenities, so bringing your own toothbrush set is a must. Also, there was a distinctive scent throughout the hotel, but I got used to it after a few days. The shower had a slight sewage smell, but only when first turned on. I really enjoyed listening to the beautiful violin performances every evening, and being able to watch YouTube in my room was a nice touch.

About 500 meters from the old town, you will pass through a very dirty construction site. Next to Wyndham. The facilities are very poor. The shower water can only be turned on hot, otherwise it is cold and hot. The network is very slow. The sound insulation is very poor. There are people partying at 2 o'clock in the morning. The front desk service is very good. They helped me call a taxi several times. Every time I called a taxi, the location here seemed to be inaccurate. The breakfast was not very good, there was no milk.

Очень красивый отель с прекрасным обслуживанием, в пешей доступности от старого города. Нам предоставили семейный номер, состоящий из двух стандартов, соединенных межкомнатной дверью, очень удобно для 4 человек! В номере есть все необходимое, хороший ремонт и удобная мебель. На ресепшн помогли со всеми вопросами - забронировать столик в ресторане, осуществить обмен валюты и проч. Единственное, что немножко огорчило - достаточно скромный по сравнению с Хивой и Самаркандом завтрак, горячих блюд было мало, выпечка в заводских упаковках, зато неплохой кофе.

A great family hotel! Located very convenient - in foot access from the old city, the nearest sightseeing is Lyabi House. You can get to the hotel by taxi, although some facilities in the old city can only be reached on foot. Hotel staff is very friendly, hospitality. The host of the hotel has turned on heating as it has already been cold at night on the street. You can leave things in the hotel after expulsion, walk around the city a few hours before the train. I liked breakfast. Especially remembered a delicious home baking, dinas, carrots!

The hotel has a cozy recreation area where you can just lie down, relax and drink a cup of aroma tea. And the pool is a separate bonus, especially in the heat! A separate thanks to host an incredibly hospitality man, showed real eastern hospitality. He went to meet us and allowed us to stay at the hotel 3 hours after departure so that we could quietly wait for the train. Free! It is expensive. The staff is also very attentive, always ready to help with advice and where to eat deliciously, and where to go to see the most interesting. Breakfast is just delightful! Huge choice: a variety of east sweets, nuts and dried fruits, galva, pancakes, fresh fruit, cash, yogurt, twelve each will find something on the soul. Especially striking attention: breakfast with a huge selection of eastern sweets, fruits and home baking. The host and his team soulful people showed us what such eastern hospitality is. We all advise this hotel. And we when we left even the coin threw to return.
