Trav3L bUgThis was a really good deal on Trip and perfect for my traveling family. The location was good for the Curve/IPC/Ikea for fair weather. For rainy days, one can get to the MRT under cover and head to IOI or 1Utama. The water pressure was wonderful. The bed was good too. The only thing to manage expectations is that the aesthetics of the hotel room and hallways leave a bit to be desired for a 5âïž hotel. Iâve added some pics to help get a feel of what I mean. The sofa cover was ripped in some places, the lampshade also had some cuts, the upholstery had stains, and the wall and skirting looked like it was touched up many times on different occasion with different toned paint. I didnât really know what to make of it or even how to review this space. For the price we paid, it was lower than most 5-star hotels, and so the hotel met the price expectations.
Service was good although they do seem understaffed at the reception with there always being a queue when we went to re-verify our keycards. It seems that the wooden one works on the lift and door; and the plastic one only works on the door. We did not get this memo. They were super nice about it :)

Guest UserI checked in at 2:30 PM on June 1st, 2026, a public holiday, but my room wasn't ready until 6 PM. I kept asking the front desk, and they kept saying it would be ready in 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, I asked again if it was ready, and they told me to wait another 40 minutes. In the end, I kept pushing them and they finally gave me a room at 6 PM.

Anonymous UserThis is a very new hotel, located in the city center, and it doesn't take much time to get to the attractions. The pool is beautiful, an infinity pool with a Jacuzzi. The only downside is that we originally booked two rooms, but the hotel arranged them on different floors, which was very inconvenient. We ended up having to pay extra to upgrade our rooms to be on the same floor. But even then, they were at opposite ends of the hallway, east and west.đ

Stayed 2 weekday nights at Monkey Canopy Resort and overall had an enjoyable stay. It's quite a remote drive on the outskirts of KL, but the kids were excited the moment we arrived. The resort is spacious, beautiful, and even has EV charging stations.
Check-in was self-service. While we were guided to the kiosk, the staff wasn't particularly welcoming and did not provide information such as breakfast timings or the WiFi password. With few guests around, a little more assistance would have been appreciated.
The buggy ride to the room was fun and the buggy drivers were friendly. Waiting time was reasonable, usually under 10 minutes. The room itself was spacious and clean. One thing to note is that there are about 10 steps leading to the room with no ramp, so carrying luggage can be a challenge.
Breakfast was decent but fairly standard, with nasi lemak, noodles, eggs, ham, and bread. The selection remained mostly the same over the two mornings.
The resort grounds are huge with plenty of activities available, although most come at an additional cost. Despite a few service shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay and had a great family getaway.

Constance ChooThere aren't many hotels at Malaysia's KLIA International Airport. The Sama-Sama Hotel, a 5-star property, has been around for a long time and its facilities are a bit dated, while other airport hotels have rooms that are too small. For travelers transiting through Kuala Lumpur or needing an overnight stay, I highly recommend the ibis Styles Sepang KLIA â it's excellent! When I first saw the 4.4 rating on Trip.com, I didn't have high expectations, thinking the facilities would be very ordinary. However, my actual stay completely exceeded them, offering a surprisingly great experience! This hotel, newly opened in 2024, is exceptionally well-maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the overall design is resort-style, with lush greenery everywhere. Upon entering, you're greeted by a fresh, botanical scent, completely devoid of the usual oppressive and stuffy feeling of typical airport hotels đ.
Thereâs a wide selection of room types. Solo travelers can choose a standard king or twin room, with 26㥠of spacious, uncrowded comfort. Couples or friends can upgrade to a Superior room, and for families, the Family room with one king and one single bed can accommodate up to three people. There's also a windowless Deluxe King room, perfect for those just needing a temporary stopover and planning to rest indoors during the day. Accessible rooms are also available for guests with mobility needs.
Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a separate shower and bathroom, and a safe. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, perfectly adequate for daily living and work.
The amenities are top-notch. There's a large outdoor infinity pool with a shallow kids' area, complete with loungers and parasols â it's incredibly relaxing to soak in the pool and watch the sunset in the evening. The 24-hour gym has a full range of equipment. On the ground floor, thereâs a casual bar with live music in the evenings, offering a very relaxed atmosphere. The STREATS restaurant serves local Malaysian dishes and international cuisine, and can accommodate Halal, vegetarian, and children's meals. The breakfast buffet has a rich variety, and buying breakfast separately at the hotel is much more cost-effective than adding it to your online booking.
In addition to paid treatments like spa services, facials, and hair washes, the hotel also offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a large free outdoor parking lot, so parking is not an issue if youâre driving. The green courtyard area is expansive, perfect for an evening stroll to unwind.
Real-life room photos look much better than the online pictures. The décor is positioned at a 4-star standard, but the comfort of the mattresses, soft furnishings, and bathrooms definitely rivals 5-star properties. The only major drawback is the rather poor soundproofing. You can clearly hear guests walking and talking in the hallway, and noises from adjacent rooms. Coupled with the roar of planes taking off and landing, light sleepers can easily be woken up in the middle of the night.
The location is incredibly convenient, just 1 km from KLIA airport. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the airport with fixed schedules; remember to register and book at the front desk before check-in. It's a 5-minute drive to Mitsui Outlet Park, so you can stop by for some shopping during your layover. Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers needing an overnight airport stay. It's half the price of the 5-star Sama-Sama KLIA in the same area, yet its hardware, environment, and amenities are more modern and comprehensive, making for a great transit experience đ.

zheekiatOverall a pleasant staying experience here.
Convenient access to Onsen Spa as well as to restaurant/mall, Sora dining experience is fantastic too.
The only feedback is that the breakfast buffet option is quite limited, perhaps can further improve on this.

Guest UserGreat stay at One World Hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the service was superb, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices.
The location is also very convenient, as the hotel is connected to the mall, offering many dining options and easy access to shopping and other amenities.
The only suggestion for improvement is to add more kid-friendly food options at breakfast. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

HmarThe best... Even though it's close to home, it was a great way to cheer up the kids who wanted a holiday during the school break. Most places are jammed, so this was the best option for the kids. The important thing is that the kids loved it! The room was clean and had a bathtub. After swimming downstairs, they could relax in the room too. This resort has a beautiful view because it's on high ground and surrounded by lush green golf courses, which is great for eyes that are always staring at phones and laptops. My husband also seemed re-energized after our staycation here. We slept soundly and comfortably. Breakfast was also very delicious; even though kids aged 4-11 had to pay, it was absolutely worth it. There was plenty of food and it was tasty. The cheese omelet was really good, and the breads were delicious. Overall, I recommend bringing anyone to stay here. The kids' corner was also good; kids could play, and there were many fish for them to look at, so they weren't bored staying here. But then again, check-out was at 11 AM, which is a bit early, huhu. Sorry, I can't upload videos; I mostly took videos and fewer photos.

le_reve13Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff but Needs Significant Maintenance and Better Housekeeping
Arrival & Service
While the staff we interacted with during our stay were mostly friendly and polite, our initial impression was quite poor. When we first arrived at the property, there was absolutely no one available to attend to us or welcome us. A prompt greeting goes a long way, so this was a frustrating start to the visit.
Room Condition & Upkeep
Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The furniture was notably creaky, and the finishes throughout the room felt very worn out and tired. The lack of upkeep made the space feel neglected and certainly did not reflect the standard I would expect from a Mövenpick property.
Cleanliness
The biggest letdown was the bathroom. The toilet area definitely could have been cleaner, and there was visible grime on the walls, which was quite off-putting. Cleanliness is a bare minimum expectation, and this fell short.
Overall Summary
While the pleasant demeanor of the staff is a definite positive, the lack of attention upon arrival combined with the poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned room means I left disappointed. The hotel is in desperate need of a refresh and better quality control regarding housekeeping.
