Hotels With Spa in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan

4.5 stars!  Property is older but extremely well maintained.  The corner western/Japanese rooms are spacious with two western beds and tatami area, single japanese bath and shower area and separate toilet area, mini fridge, tv, sitting area overlooking the river and table with four chairs as well as a massage chair!  Onsen area has both indoor and outdoor areas separate for men and women and a cold plunge as well as multiple hot baths.  Minus half a star for low staffing in the store/cafe areas (often no staff member to be found when kakigori desired), no in house lunch option and overly fatty meat on the 3rd night dinner (breakfast and dinner were LARGE and BEAUTIFUL but perhaps heavy on the yuba.  Also, shuttle to the train station is only at 10 and 11am and getting cabs is difficult.  However, would overwhelmingly recommend Nikko Senhime Monogatari!

This hotel is super convenient! It's just a short walk from Sano Shintoshi Bus Terminal, and Sano Premium Outlets is also within walking distance. Plus, there's a convenience store nearby. The public bath was a nice touch, and it wasn't too crowded, so I was able to really relax. I especially loved the herbal scent of the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

古き良き温泉ホテルという感じです。 部屋は広くてゆったりくつろげました。 温泉は宿泊客以外も利用可能ですが、平日だったから（？）人が少なく、ゆっくりできました。 一人でしたが、夕食は個室でとらせていただきました。牛肉が美味しかったです。 エレベーターに使用している香りが好みの香りでした。 またあの辺りに行く機会があれば利用したいです。

This hotel was about 30 minutes drive from Nasu Animal Kingdom and was on the mountain road. There are no convenience stores or supermarkets near the hotel, so I think it is better to buy beverages brought in at convenience stores found early. The room was very clean and the staff 々 was kind, polite, kind and happy. Thank you. What impressed me especially was that the full course of dinner was very delicious, and the beautiful golf course spreading from the window while eating made me have a calm time. I was able to eat slowly in a quiet place, probably because there were many calm adults in the customer base. Breakfast was also very delicious in a buffet style where you can choose fresh vegetables, rice, bread, side dishes, etc. The hot spring on the 2nd floor is a cold mineral spring, and it is called a hot spring of beautiful skin, so my skin became smooth and smooth ♪ I went twice at night and in the morning, but I was able to relax so that I could sigh. There was also a fitness room and an esthetic salon on the second floor. Also, the drinks to drink while watching the stars on the veranda of the room at night were the best and comfortable time The room feels a bit old, but it was very large, and the towels and roomware were clean and cozy. The bed was a little hard and I could sleep just right. The air conditioner can be adjusted in the room and there is also an air cleaner. However, there is no outlet near the bed and it seems that the mobile phone cannot be charged at the bedside. Maybe it was somewhere? I thought again that I was glad to choose this place because it was better than I imagined in everything. I would like to use it when I come to Nasu again ♪

Located at the innermost part of Lake Chuzenji, this hotel boasts first-class scenery and environment. It features indoor and outdoor hot springs, and offers complimentary coffee and tea from afternoon to evening. Guests can enjoy tranquility while gazing at the lake. The breakfast environment and food are excellent, and a shuttle bus is available to Nikko Station.

The hotel has to enter at 3 pm, the previous time has to be sorted out, and only 3 o'clock has been checked in before. It was the first time I encountered an early arrival and couldn't enter the hotel! There are not many service staff, maybe too busy. But the room was not bad, dinner was also delivered to the room, there was a Chinese girl serving us, such a remote place and Chinese waiters were rare. There is a buffet bar in the lobby, and drinks can be used at will.

The hotel is very close to the attractions, there are private hot springs for hot springs, the staff are also very good, the rooms are very clean and comfortable to live, far from Nikko Station, it takes more than half an hour to walk, you have to take a car, but the environment is good, if I will stay again next time I have a chance,

Location was ok, it's easy to access if you drive. Slightly further up above Nikko. There's beautiful lake just right in front of the hotel. Hotel is pretty new, the only downside is there is no dinner/breakfast included (we choose dinner and breakfast but somehow, they don't provide dinner/breakfast in winter season). They offered each of us 1800 yen for compensation which we could use it in their souvenir shop (you may buy drinks, snacks and bento box, there is microwave in their lobby). We don't really want bento for dinner, hence we drove about 10mins to nearby to have dinner, actually turns out not bad, good food with affordable price. If we knew dinner and breakfast was not available in the hotel, we would have booked another hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel close to the train station then this is a good choice. If you get the room with two beds then it is a pretty good size room, otherwise they are very small rooms. The beds are quite comfortable and the breakfast is adequate.

Environment: It's about a 10-minute walk from Kinugawa Station. There's a small hill where pushing luggage can be a bit difficult; you can contact the hotel for a shuttle service. Unlike most Kinugawa onsen ryokans, it's not located right on the river, which is a bit of a shame. Cleanliness: Excellent. Facilities: First, the large public baths have alternating men's and women's baths, each with its own unique features. There are sleeping baths, cream baths, and saunas. The overall design is very reasonable and simple. The rooms are large, easily accommodating at least four people, and include both Western-style beds and Japanese-style tatami mats. The rooms are large and quite new, without the usual musty smell of older hotels. The window view is just average, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Dining: We had two meals during our stay. Dinner and breakfast were both deluxe kaiseki cuisine, which was delicious and photogenic—five-star quality. It ranks among the top three kaiseki meals we've had at onsen. Service: Excellent. The Vietnamese lady who greeted us spoke Mandarin, and the restaurant manager, a lady from Guangdong, explained the dishes in great detail. Overall, the service was excellent.
