A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in.
The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect.
Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok.

What an amazing experience we had at Borgo Petroro! From the moment we entered in the little hamlet we knew we were in for something special. The quiet location among olive trees makes it a good base to explore the region and the surrounding towns like Todi and Montefalco wineries. The room is beyond comfortable and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the facilities like the pool and the restaurant where we ate delicious food in the courtyard. Service is top notch! We especially loved the breakfast where local products are presented. Next time we are staying more than one night!

Nice structure. nice staff. There are adequate services. However, full outdoor parking Saturday night due to the restaurant's customers so much that they can't park. In addition, when we arrived the room was cold: I think if guests arrive, the environment must be prepared to be comfortable (and this also takes into account the hotel level and the costs). The spa with heated swimming pool, sauna and very nice Turkish bathroom (pay).

Quiet, lovely, relaxing, tranquil.
Altarocca is a place for couples looking to get away and spend some quiet time together. The hotel is located atop a lovely hillside overlooking fantastic views of Umbria. The staff is kind, generous, and accommodating and the restaurant on the property has a large variety of exquisite wine and tasteful cuisine.

Albergo situato in pieno centro storico pertanto ottima posizione. Nel complesso ottimo soggiorno camera molto pulita, unica pecca per essere un 5 stelle, avrei preferito delle stanze con una cura nell’arredamento migliore…dal bagno proveniva un cattivo odore di fogna per niente piacevole! La spa piccola ma gradevole dovrebbero aggiungere più sedute nella zona piscina e cambiare la tonalità delle luci, a mio avviso troppo fredde…non infondono una sensazione di relax…colazione eccezionale.

You can count on a restful and comfortable stay at La Terrazza after exploring Assisi or the surrounding region. The staff are always responsive and helpful. The breakfast had good choices. La Terrazza will be our choice to stay when we return here.

Brilliant hotel, a hidden gem! Wonderful gardens, excellent restaurant on site and a great SPA.
Can't fault the hotel/staff in any way. Very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. A beautiful hotel in a monastery.

Guest UserWe arrived at the station at night, the town was dark, and we walked to the hotel in about 10 minutes.
I didn't like it when I first entered, because it's an old hotel and the decoration is made of red wood. It was quite scary when I entered, but I gradually got used to it.
The front desk was friendly and the breakfast was rich. If we arrive during the day, the image should be much better.
Everything else is OK.
