The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Starlight Night Market. The river-view rooms offer a direct view of the Lancang River, the Starlight Night Market, and White Elephant Beach! I stayed on the south side of the river for New Year's Eve and watched the fireworks show, and this time staying on the north side was a great, varied experience!
They upgraded our room to one with a river view, and the scenery is beautiful. However, the bass from the Six Nations Music Plaza downstairs plays continuously until after 11 PM, so those with heart conditions should definitely reconsider!!!
The hotel lobby is grand, fresh, and elegant, with a rich Dai ethnic flair. The reception staff's Dai traditional clothing is beautiful and graceful! There are welcome drinks in the lobby!
The hotel offers free hot springs, a water park, and an infinity pool. The hot spring water is relatively clean, but a few pools had some moss, which I suggest they clean promptly! The pool faces the Lancang River directly, making it perfect for photos!
Breakfast was abundant, with a wide variety of delicious options!
The service was warm and friendly; staff actively smiled and greeted guests!
This hotel offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth revisiting!

I have to say, this hotel was the most satisfying part of my Lijiang trip. The hotel environment and rooms were excellent, especially the service. Due to an issue with the air conditioning, the room temperature was very high. When I called the front desk at night, the night manager immediately showed me other rooms, but it was too late to switch at that moment. To my surprise, the next day, while we were out touring, the duty manager called me to upgrade us to a Deluxe Executive Suite. It was such a pleasant surprise! The staff were also incredibly helpful and promptly addressed any issues we had. It was truly a delightful trip, and I'll definitely be back.
This hotel is ideal for active travelers due to its excellent location, being just a 20-minute walk from Nanping Street, the Old Town, and Yuantong Temple, with the added convenience of a direct subway link to the railway station. While the rooms are well-equipped, light sleepers should request a room away from the main road to avoid traffic noise, and although the breakfast variety is limited, it offers fair value for the price.

The room is already small, and they've put in an oversized TV cabinet, which takes up a huge amount of space! The decor has an old-fashioned feel, and the facilities are a bit dated. Most guests are 35+, so it's not really a family-friendly hotel; I wouldn't recommend it if you're traveling with kids. The service attitude is good. I bought breakfast vouchers online, which made it quite a good deal, but the breakfast itself was nothing special, just average. There's no self-service laundry room, and the air conditioning is noisy. The absolute advantage is that Cuihu Park is right across the street, the surrounding environment is elegant, peaceful, and comfortable, and several cultural attractions are nearby, making the location extremely convenient.

The front desk staff were very friendly and the hotel's location is excellent, really convenient. The surrounding area is great with lots of food options. Downstairs, there are fruit shops, noodle places, restaurants, BBQ, and hot pot – absolutely everything you could want.

The service was incredibly thoughtful. They contacted us in advance to arrange airport pickup and even provided a generous afternoon tea spread. The coffee was delicious, easily on par with what you'd find at a good cafe.
The butler service was truly excellent. They not only recommended fantastic local eateries but also gave us tips on how to explore the area. The guesthouse environment itself is wonderful, with great views of the snowy mountains. The room was well-stocked with a variety of disposable amenities, showing great attention to detail.

Choosing Naga S Hotel was truly the most delightful surprise of my Xishuangbanna trip! The location is simply unbeatable – just a few minutes' walk to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Starlight Night Market, and right around the corner is the dazzling Golden Pagoda. Serene and solemn by day, it becomes a brilliant spectacle at night, making you feel like you're living inside the most captivating landscape painting of Jinghong.
The hotel's design beautifully blends Dai ethnic charm with modern simplicity. You'll find a seamless integration of bamboo weaving, wood carvings, and lush greenery everywhere, offering both a sense of local culture and ultimate comfort. Our room was spacious and bright, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. The bathroom had a thoughtful wet-and-dry separation, showing great attention to detail. What I loved most was that our room window faced the Golden Pagoda directly. At night, pulling back the curtains revealed the pagoda lights illuminating the sky, like a flowing masterpiece.
The service also deserves special praise! The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive, proactively recommending fun spots and delicious food at the night market, and even thoughtfully advising us on how to avoid peak crowds. Every day, returning to the hotel, we were greeted with refreshing welcome tea, and luggage assistance was always prompt. The hotel also has a rooftop viewing platform, offering panoramic views of Gaozhuang, perfect for a relaxing evening breeze.
For tourists, this place is truly a 'hidden gem' as a base. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can easily stroll through the night market in the evening, enjoy Dai cuisine, and take photos in traditional Dai attire, then walk back to your room to rest. In the morning, you can visit the Golden Pagoda when it's less crowded to experience its tranquility. Transportation is also very convenient; getting a taxi to Manting Park or the Tropical Botanical Garden was hassle-free.
If I had to offer one small suggestion, I'd hope for a swimming pool in the future. But even without it, Naga S Hotel is already wonderful enough that I want to recommend it to all my friends visiting Xishuangbanna! Here, you not only enjoy excellent accommodation but also an immersive experience of Gaozhuang's poetic charm, where 'stars fall to earth every night.' I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Banna!

My trip to Xishuangbanna was made possible by choosing the Meihua Lizhi Sunac Hotel, and the experience far exceeded my expectations – a perfect recommendation!
Located in the Sunac International Resort Area, the hotel boasts a tranquil and serene environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by lush greenery, it exudes tropical charm. The lobby is elegantly designed, with warm wood tones and Dai-style elements, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The comfortable and spacious lounge area showcases quality throughout. The guest rooms are bright and airy, with a timeless and minimalist luxury style. The entire room features intelligent voice control, allowing you to control the lights, curtains, and TV simply by speaking. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the Dream Lily mattress is so comfortable you won't want to get up. The bathroom features a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet for cleanliness and convenience, and a complimentary minibar – attention to detail is evident. The service is also heartwarming: the front desk is efficient and welcoming, the complimentary airport pick-up is punctual and thoughtful, and responses to any needs are extremely quick. Amenities are comprehensive, including complimentary afternoon tea, a late-night noodle shop, a gym, and a self-service laundry room. The rooftop pool offers stunning views, perfect for taking amazing photos. Although not in the city center, it's easily accessible by taxi and close to the airport and Sunac Land. The place is quiet and comfortable, with attentive service and excellent value for money. It's the top choice for a vacation in Xishuangbanna, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!
This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. Front desk staff member 212 was warm and attentive, handling both check-in and check-out quickly and with a great attitude. The location is convenient for getting around, with all amenities nearby. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and the environment is quiet, not noisy at all. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town, highly recommended! We had a very peaceful 520 with my boyfriend.
Excellent! The room was spacious and clean, and the service was top-notch. The front desk, housekeeping, and security staff were all incredibly warm and attentive. Thumbs up! Parking was convenient, and it's just a ten-minute drive to the city center. The hotel hasn't been open long, so it's very clean and hygienic, and the breakfast spread is fantastic.

XXianggenichengnannannanHow to put it, Banyan Tree holds a special place in my heart. Everything is generally good, and I've stayed there before. However, the facilities are just so inconvenient, and they haven't been updated even in this day and age. Before going to bed, I had to search everywhere for the light switch. In the middle of the night, if I wanted to turn on the light, I couldn't find the switch anywhere – they were all so far away! If I wanted to turn off the light after lying down, I'd have to get up again. I couldn't even find the light switch in the minibar area before bed, so I had to sleep with the light on. When I woke up and wanted to lie in bed to admire the snow-capped mountains, I had to get up to open the curtains (or rather, the door panels). Entering the main gate was a struggle; the villa's main gate is so old and worn out it's hard to open! And that surround around the bed is so anti-human. Should I step on it or not when getting into bed? If I don't step on it, it's a bit of a reach to get in. But if I do step on it, surely many people have stepped on it, and you can't wash fabric coverings after every guest, right? With these surrounds all around the bed, I couldn't even sit on the edge of the bed! Plus, the staff weren't very proficient; it took half an hour for check-in (and I was the only guest). Although the price has dropped, it's still over 2000 [yuan]. Honestly, being in the room felt like one word: tiring. It felt like I was constantly circling the room, looking for this and that… I'd take off my clothes and not know where to put them, and then the next day I'd have to remember where I put them.
GGuest UserThe room facing the street was quite quiet, which was nice. The front desk has a coffee machine, and you can ask the staff to prepare drinks for you as needed.
The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and proactively offered us travel advice. Parking allows one exit within a 24-hour period, so plan your outings accordingly.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Old Town Windmill, maybe because I walk a bit slowly, but it's definitely not just a few minutes away.
The room is equipped with smart home features, and the quality of items like tissues is quite good, showing that the owner has high standards for the amenities provided.
BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped.
The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.
GGuest UserThis hotel made up 90% of my wonderful Lijiang trip – it was incredibly comfortable and the service was so thoughtful. The excellent service started right from booking; the owner added me on WeChat to ask about my arrival time and if I needed a pick-up, always replying instantly. They even helped with my luggage! The hotel is halfway up the mountain, offering stunning views of Lijiang Old Town. Whenever I wanted to go out, they'd drive me to the old town entrance, making it super convenient – a quiet escape yet close to everything. Plus, food delivery comes right to your room. The daily afternoon tea, coffee, and regular tea were all delicious, and the mini cakes and cookies were also high quality. There are 3 cats to pet, and a huge, super clear projector that was so comfy it made me not want to leave the room, haha.
⭐️ **Amenities:** It has an elevator! Floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious and bright room, with sunlight streaming in – super comfortable! There's underfloor heating, powerful air conditioning, and a humidifier. The furniture is solid and high-quality, and the bed is just the right softness with comfortable linens.
⭐️ **Hygiene:** Daily cleaning, disposable slippers in sterilized packaging, soft and clean towels, separate toilet and shower areas, and a bathtub – extremely clean!
⭐️ **Service:** Absolutely amazing, they catered to every request! They provided sightseeing tips and routes with location pins, no pushy sales, and were as warm and attentive as a good friend! Unlimited complimentary bottled water, they'd offer water and an umbrella when I left, and fresh flower cakes when I returned – they looked after me so well!
We will definitely be back.
YYiyuyiyuThe front desk service was excellent, and the facilities were very complete. The hot spring, dormitory, and restaurant offered a rich breakfast. I was very satisfied with my room. The hotel environment is fantastic, with a Southeast Asian decor style. The front desk staff were very responsive to all my requests. They even allowed a late check-out when my plans changed unexpectedly. I'm very grateful and had a very satisfying stay.

GGuest UserTo start with: it's been a long time since I've had such a satisfying experience.
**Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied.
**Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees.
**Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip.
**Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again.
**Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service.
**Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers.
**Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.
LLewis001Dali Junfa Pullman Hotel Review | A hidden gem offering stunning views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake right from your bed.
Pullman is my top choice when visiting Dali. Its prime location directly overlooks Erhai Lake, with distant views of Cangshan Mountain, and it's conveniently close to Xingsheng Bridge and Erhai Park, making it super easy to get around and explore.
As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I received a complimentary stay in an Executive Lake View Room. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views – I could take in the full splendor of the mountains and lake without even leaving my bed! The room's decor blends seamlessly with Bai ethnic design, and the amenities provided were high quality with thoughtful touches throughout.
The breakfast buffet was extensive, and the complimentary dinner, included with the room, offered a mix of Chinese and Western light meals, alongside local Dali specialties like rice noodles and rubing cheese. Dining by the window with lake views was a treat. The rooftop heated infinity pool and the grand spiral staircase in the lobby are popular photo spots. The afternoon tea was also exquisite, and heading to the Starlight bar at sunset for a drink created a wonderfully atmospheric experience.
The service was warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient and thoughtfully handled. As an Accor brand, the quality is reliably excellent. It’s perfect for both couples on a romantic getaway and families traveling with children. Definitely my top pick for accommodation in Dali.
GGuest UserThe whole room is smart-controlled, but what surprised me most was that it came with a washing machine AND a dryer! Plus, you can see the snow-capped mountains and the lake right from your bed. This is exactly what a vacation should be like!
The service was truly exceptional. Every day, a delightful afternoon tea was delivered to the room, and in the evening, there were comforting late-night snacks. The best part was the complimentary SPA – the massage was so professional, I actually fell asleep 💆🏻♀️
I just tried out the travel photography on a whim, throwing on a 'Bao Fu Lu' brocade waistcoat. The photographer simply styled my hair, and to my surprise, the results were absolutely stunning! It felt like my own zodiac year photoshoot.
In the evening:
Sitting in the room, watching the lake turn golden with the sunset glow.
The distant snow-capped mountains appearing and disappearing.
At night:
Fireworks blooming right before my eyes 🎆
Now *that's* the perfect atmosphere for Chinese New Year! My emotional needs were totally met!
LLeedan_mmI stayed at the InterContinental Lijiang for four nights this trip, primarily traveling with my elderly parents. It's been almost twenty years since I last visited Lijiang, so I had high expectations for this trip. I booked the hotel well in advance, thinking that staying in a guesthouse with elderly people would be inconvenient (due to long walks on cobblestone paths). Therefore, I chose the InterContinental, mainly due to my trust in the brand. However, I was a bit disappointed this time.
First, I must commend the hotel's excellent location, making it very convenient to explore the Old Town. Secondly, the hotel offers beautiful views. But the hotel's shortcomings are also quite apparent – the facilities are outdated. The toilet was clogged for three out of our four nights, and the window screen was broken (preventing us from opening the window for ventilation). I reported these issues several times, and the hotel staff responded promptly and had a good attitude; the maintenance department would come to fix them. However, the old facilities kept causing recurring problems, significantly impacting our overall living experience. The hotel waived the extra bed fee for two nights, but the overall price doesn't match the outdated facilities. With the peak tourist season approaching, the hotel should prioritize maintenance and inspections, and improve the quality of its services.
