We chose Ocean Flower Island specifically for the Oceana Resort, which boasts over 5,000 rooms. The visual impact was truly stunning; everything felt so grand and luxurious. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast at the restaurant was varied, and we could even choose our preferred breakfast slot, which was super convenient for those of us who like to sleep in. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the high-speed train station and a little sightseeing train that makes it easy to explore Island 1. All in all, the Oceana Resort is definitely the top choice when visiting Ocean Flower Island!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! A huge thank you to our butler, Leo, who was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. When my phone died, he arranged a shuttle and brought a power bank to our room. He also delivered meals, helped us switch to a room with no stairs, and even brought welcome fruit. The housekeeping was prompt, and ice was delivered quickly. When a family member had a stomachache and went to the lobby for medicine, the staff kindly prepared hot water and bottled water. The shuttle driver was smooth and efficient. Everyone's service was truly heartwarming. A quick heads-up: the Yunpeng constant temperature pool opens at 3:30 PM, so remember to ask your butler to ventilate it in advance. The omelet station at breakfast had enthusiastic service and plates were changed quickly. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate. Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images. During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings. What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip. The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

Returned for another stay, and the experience was still great. Although it's an older hotel, the facilities are well-maintained. Last time I stayed in the Ocean View Suite, which was fantastic. This time I chose the main building's full sea view room, and it offered excellent value for money. Of course, older hotels in Sanya Bay mean a superb location with beautiful sea views and a perfect spot for sunset. Our butler, Vivi, was also very thoughtful. For family trips, I highly recommend the Ocean View Suite, and for couples, the Executive Full Sea View in the main building is also a good choice.

The butler, Hanghang, deserves full marks for excellent service. They promptly addressed any issues, and their service really added to our hotel experience. However, the room I stayed in had a damp, musty smell upon entering. The double bed room allowed for the door and windows to be opened for ventilation, which helped air it out. But the children's twin room had a sealed balcony glass door, preventing any ventilation, so the smell was quite strong in there.

The meticulous service from Butler Alalei made for a very comfortable trip. When the signal in our original room was poor, the butler immediately arranged for a room change. They also helped deliver takeout to our room. The buffet breakfast at the Western restaurant was also excellent, though we unfortunately overslept and missed it on the second day. The environment is beautiful, and the desserts are delicious, though a bit too sweet for my taste. They were kind enough to adjust the sugar content for me later. Butler Alalei's service is top-notch and highly recommended.

The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location on Shimei Bay, with a clean and uncrowded beach. The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, and every photo you take looks like it's straight out of a magazine. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding incredibly soft, and the ocean view was incredibly soothing. We were looked after with such care from check-in to check-out. I particularly want to commend Nikki; her service was meticulous and thoughtful, responding promptly to all our requests. She was patient and attentive throughout, making us feel incredibly welcomed. The hotel has excellent facilities for families, a wide range of beach activities, and delicious food. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. Everything, from the environment and facilities to the service, was impeccable. Nikki's considerate service, in particular, doubled the joy of our entire vacation. Staying at Le Méridien in Wanning is truly worthwhile, highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel at the end of March. The hotel is of a very high standard for those who value a good, relaxing vacation. Excellent location. Very good food and top-notch service. Housekeeper Xiao Kuan's service is very good and excellent. All issues were resolved as quickly and comfortably as possible. There are many shows and activities for adults and children. The pool and gym are very good. There are food streets and supermarkets within a 5-minute and 20-minute walk from the hotel. It is also worth noting that although the hotel has its own beach, swimming in the sea is not allowed. This hotel is perfect for those who prefer a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Stepping through the French windows, you're greeted by an uninterrupted expanse of ocean. In the evening, I leaned on the balcony railing, waiting for the sunset. The orange glow turned the tips of the waves into shimmering gold, and I felt completely immersed in the warm light – the atmosphere was simply incredible. The staff's service was also incredibly thoughtful; they called beforehand to confirm my arrival time and even offered to reserve a high-floor room with an ocean view. The fruit platter had super fresh fruit, showing great attention to detail. For a sea-view hotel of its caliber, the price is really a bargain – excellent value for money. The only slight downside is that there's some construction next to the hotel, so there was occasional noise during the day.

The hotel is located in the Old Town, which makes shopping and dining very convenient. The room was spacious enough, but the window was too small, making it feel a bit cramped. The shower had great water pressure and a consistent temperature, and the drain worked perfectly. The complimentary tickets and discount coupons mentioned in the hotel's promotions were never offered by the front desk, so I couldn't use any of them. On the first night, a neighbor knocked on my door to give me a fruit platter, saying the staff had left it with her because I wasn't in my room. This is the first time I've encountered such a situation, and I didn't dare eat something that had been left with a stranger. The elevator reeked of smoke, and cigarette butts were scattered everywhere.
