The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, with a rich variety of options including both Chinese and Western cuisine, and the ingredients were fresh. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent service and were quick to respond to any requests. The room hygiene was top-notch; both the bedding and bathroom were very clean. The rooms and public areas were well-maintained and comfortable to look at. Plus, there are plenty of dining options conveniently located around the hotel.

The hotel is located on Ocean Flower Island, where there are only two hotel options. This is the more affordable one. We could order food to the room easily using the QR code provided. Walking to the nearby food street takes about 20 minutes, but it is easy to get a DiDi ride there instead. We visited in December, and the outdoor swimming pool was closed. There isn’t much to do in the hotel itself, other than taking photos at the nicely decorated main lobby and surrounding areas. The room is uniquely decorated with the Glacier theme and the bed is comfortable. Overall, it’s a reasonable option if you are looking to stay on Ocean Flower Island at a lower cost.

The hotel upgraded us to a suite for free, which was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. The hotel also has a pool, which is great for kids. Our package included tickets to the C Show, and we bought a separate ticket for our child, which was worth it. There's also an aquarium, it's not huge but good for taking photos. It's super convenient if you're visiting the Water World – we stayed two nights and went both days, it was fantastic! We proactively added the customer service (Xiao Haitun) on WeChat, so we could communicate any needs promptly. They also informed us about activities and dining options very quickly. Thanks a lot!

Our stay at Sheraton Haikou was fantastic! It's perfect for both family vacations and parents with kids. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Our butler, Sally, was incredibly responsive and warm. The pool and hot springs facilities are excellent, and the beach is just a short walk away. The sea breeze and the sound of the waves were so relaxing. With the coconut trees and the ocean's charm, it really felt like a perfect getaway. We booked this hotel to see Hua Chenyu's Mars Concert, and it was also convenient for reaching Changying Global 100 Fantasy Park. The concert shuttle pick-up point was right at the bus stop outside. We'd definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance! 😊

Peter was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The hotel's location is superb; our balcony offered direct views of the blue sea and white sands, perfect for catching the sunrise each morning. Our room was clean and bright, and the soft, comfortable bedding ensured a great night's sleep. The breakfast featured local specialties such as Hainan rice noodles. My family and I had an exceptionally comfortable stay. The proactive and thoughtful service truly exceeded all our expectations. I've already recommended it to all my friends – it was a perfect holiday! We'll definitely be choosing this place again on our next visit.

This is a pretty good choice for a leisurely family trip. Pros: - The staff are warm and provide excellent service. They even gave us a cake because it was my birthday when we checked in. - The natural environment is beautiful, and the hotel offers many public activity areas and special events. - The private hot spring in the room can be enjoyed at any time, which is very comfortable after a long day of walking. Cons: - Compared to newer hotels, the room facilities are a bit older, without smart controls or anything like that. However, it's not as dilapidated as some online reviews suggest; the facilities are complete and clean. It really depends on personal preference. - The hotel consists of individual villas (each with 4 rooms). I personally found the on-call shuttle service very convenient, but it might be troublesome if it rains. - The hotel is located on a mountain (sort of), so calling for taxis or food delivery isn't very convenient, and there aren't many food options nearby. However, it's acceptable for a stay of about two days.

Howard Johnson Resort Sanya Bay is conveniently close to Sanya Airport, making for a quick arrival. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; as soon as we reached the front desk, someone was there to help with our luggage and escort us to our room. The surrounding area offers excellent transportation options, with easy access to public buses and ride-sharing services. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and a large supermarket in the shopping district, which is very convenient. The hotel features a heated pool and a large outdoor pool, both fantastic for swimming. On our last day, we were delayed by a photoshoot, but the hotel concierge kindly arranged a late check-out for us – truly excellent service! I'll definitely be staying here again.

It was one of the most beautiful places we have been, the resort was amazing with a heated outdoor swimming pool, with a beach just along side the resort. The location was superb with lots of restaurants and supermarket just a block away. The breakfast buffet was also great with so western, Chinese options and they even have the egg station!

On our way back from Wenchang after watching the rocket launch with our child, we spotted Mission Hills Hotel, a place we'd stayed at before. Seeing such a great price, we booked it right away! I recall when Mission Hills first opened; it was quite a sensation, and we felt so proud to stay there. This time, with our child in tow, we arrived to find the doorman as friendly and enthusiastic as ever – truly maintaining their high standards. Even though it was almost midnight, the front desk attendant politely and gently handled our check-in, making us feel the hotel's service genuinely exceeds five-star expectations. Our room, while small, was immaculately clean. The thick carpet immediately conveyed its luxury status, and the room smelled wonderfully fresh, completely free of any odors. They thoughtfully provided a children's toiletries and slipper set for our little one. This attention to detail made us feel incredibly warm and cared for. Throughout our one-day stay, every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel completely at home. Mission Hills Hotel truly is a super five-star experience!

Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities and environment are truly exceptional – very clean and tidy. My only minor complaint is that the outdoor pool felt a bit too simple. The breakfast buffet is huge with an incredible variety of dishes. I stayed two days and still couldn't try everything! The Hainan specialty Hou'an noodles were delicious, and so were the Jianbing Guozi (savory crepes). Dinner was also excellent. The Hainan yellow beef was very fresh and the quality was good. The Zao Po Cu (vinegar soup) and spicy soup were appetizing and tasty. There was also a live band performing 🎤. It would have been even more perfect if cocktails 🍹 were available. The Wenchang chicken was very fresh. Service was consistently great. The hotel offers many adult activities, but you definitely need to book them in advance, as it's very difficult to get a spot by booking on the same day. I had a wonderful trip. The hotel had a full itinerary of activities, and the scenery was beautiful. Special thanks to our butler, Mile, for their thoughtful service, including preparing fruit and a small cake. The activity arrangements and bookings were very reliable. 👍
