We had a wonderful stay! The location is unbeatable, offering beautiful beach views and a great variety of food options within easy reach. The hotel itself is spotless and well-kept, and our family suite offered plenty of space and very comfortable bedding. We spent a lot of time at the Sampan Bar, which quickly became our favorite spot. Between the great music, refreshing drinks, and the ability to watch the kids play on the beach, it was perfect. A big shout-out to the team at Sampan for the awesome service! Also, for anyone driving an EV, it’s convenient that they have a Shell Recharge station. Note that only Port 1 was working during our visit, but it’s still a great facility to have on-site.

Stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and it was such a relaxing experience. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a short escape from the city. The hotel is located right by the beach, so you get a beautiful natural vibe throughout your stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. Hotel facilities are great, including a swimming pool, gym, kids-friendly areas, and dining options, all well-maintained and convenient for both couples and families. The highlight is definitely the view 🌅 You can catch both stunning sunrise and sunset by the beach, which makes it extra special. Waking up to the sea view and ending the day with golden sunset moments is just perfect.

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

TFantastic Family Escape – Kids Loved the Pool & Beach! Rating: 4.5/5 We had an absolute blast at Swiss-Garden Kuantan! If you’re looking for a family getaway that keeps the kids entertained, this is the spot. The Highlights: Kid-Approved: The pool area with the slide was a massive hit—my kids (3, 9, & 11) couldn't get enough of it. Beachside Bliss: The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful, clean beach that we really enjoyed. Nightly Entertainment: The fire show for hotel guests was a fantastic surprise and a great way to end the day. Top-Tier Service: A huge shoutout to the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Breakfast Win: The breakfast spread was seriously good! Pro-Tip for Guests: The breakfast buffet gets very busy during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. My advice: plan your timing to head down a bit earlier to beat the rush and secure your spot comfortably.

My recent stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a pleasant and memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel gave a comfortable, modern, and welcoming impression. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk team was professional, helpful, and efficient. Their warm attitude immediately made the stay feel positive, especially after a long journey. The hotel’s overall environment was clean, calm, and well maintained. The lobby had a simple yet elegant design, creating a relaxing atmosphere without feeling overcrowded or overly formal. It is the kind of hotel that feels practical for both business and leisure travellers. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby food outlets, shops, and key areas around Kuantan. This made moving around much easier and helped make the short stay more enjoyable. The room was one of the highlights of the stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well arranged. The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable. The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well. Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice. It was a happy and comfortable overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

I recently stayed at Wyndham Ion Majestic and had a mixed experience. The hotel offers beautiful mountain views, a modern room design, and a cool climate that makes for a pleasant getaway. The property certainly looks impressive and has the potential to be a great destination. However, there were several areas that fell short of my expectations for a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star property. Firstly, no hotel slippers were provided in the room, which is a basic amenity that most guests would expect at this level. In addition, only one bathrobe was available despite the room being occupied by two guests. These may seem like minor details, but attention to such details is what differentiates a true 5-star experience from an average one. Another issue was the shower's hot water system. The water temperature fluctuated constantly between hot and cold every few seconds, making it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower. This is something that should be addressed as it directly affects guest comfort. The lift waiting times were also quite long during peak hours, and the hotel felt crowded at times. While this may be understandable due to high occupancy, better crowd and lift management would significantly improve the overall guest experience. As for breakfast, it was decent but rather ordinary. The selection was acceptable, but nothing particularly stood out. For a hotel of this category, I was expecting a wider variety and a more memorable dining experience. Overall, I enjoyed the scenery and the room itself, but the service details and facilities did not fully match the expectations associated with a 5-star hotel. With some improvements in maintenance, room preparation, and guest experience management, this property could easily become much better.

This is the second time I stay in Antara by Sleeping Lion. The staff is very friendly and helpful therefore I came back again. Sleeping Lion reception is located at Tower D, therefore i prefer to stay at tower D (nearer to chin swee temple) if you want to take the cable car, the link bridge to Sky world is at Tower A. As it’s residences therefore no room service, but they do provide toilet rolls, in room slippers, those usual toothbrush etc, hand wash, shower, shampoo. The troublesome part is the trash, so either you can watsapp their customer service line to request for them to empty the trash, for me I would bring the trash down to level 1 myself and request for more plastic to change. Overall is still a big and comfortable residences for my family stay in Genting, the walk from link bridge to skyavenue is quite fast, inbetween they have a lot of escalator, the longest lane without escalator they have this small buggy which can fetch 3-4 passenger to and fro which can save quite a lot of the walk.

Antara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard. One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful. The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap. The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered. Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice.

JJO PKFThe hotel was previously known as Shazan Inn but has since been taken over by the Wyndham brand. The hotel and rooms have undergone refurbishment — exterior roof tiles and walls have been replaced and repainted, while the furniture and fittings are also relatively new. One downside is the limited parking space. If you drive out, you may have to compete for a spot when you return. On the plus side, the location is excellent — just around the corner from the iconic clock tower, main eateries, and shops, all within walking distance. Our stay included breakfast and I have nothing much to complain about. The spread was decent, with an egg station as a plus point. During the two mornings we had breakfast, different dishes were served. The staff and housekeeping team were kind, courteous, diligent, and helpful. Whenever we requested additional items, they attended to us quickly. Good job and keep it up! We stayed for 3 nights in the Temenggong Suite, which comes with 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and kitchen. The downside is that there is only 1 bathroom. Looking back, booking connecting rooms might have been cheaper and more practical. However, the hotel is divided into two wings, and surprisingly, the wing with connecting rooms does not have air-conditioning. While Fraser’s Hill is cooler than most places, it is still not as cold as Genting Highlands or Cameron Highlands, so this was unexpected. The suite was spacious and came with a smart TV in the living room, giving access to Netflix, YouTube, etc., which was useful to keep the kids entertained. There is also a kitchen suitable for simple cooking. However, there was no telephone in the room, meaning requests had to be made by going down to reception. Likewise, the hotel could only contact me through my mobile phone, which was not practical due to poor mobile reception inside the room. Basic amenities were provided, but the water pressure was really low. With only one bathroom and weak water pressure, expect a longer wait if staying with family or a larger group. Another thing to note is that our suite still used a traditional door knob instead of a smart card system, and we were only given one key. I felt slightly uncomfortable as there is always a chance of forgetting to lock the door. Housekeeping also does not have a spare key, so you either leave the door unlocked for cleaning or leave your key with housekeeping/reception. This was not explained during check-in — fortunately, the housekeeping staff informed us. The suite does come with air-conditioning, but it appears to have been modified so the remote control cannot fully operate it. Even when switched off using the remote, the AC continues running with only the vent closed. The only way to turn it off completely is via the wall switch, and adjusting the fan speed or temperature was not possible. Despite the points mentioned above, this hotel does not deserve a poor rating. My family and I genuinely enjoyed our stay. The only things that disappointed me were 1.) the air-conditioning filter, which looked like it had not been cleaned for some time, and 2.) some towels that were old with yellow stains. The suite also felt like it could have been better maintained, as there was noticeable dust and dirt in certain corners. However, these issues were not severe enough to ruin the overall experience. At the end of the day, Wyndham is currently the only international hotel brand in Fraser’s Hill. Most other options are either decades-old apartments, Airbnb units, inns, or motels. I genuinely hope Wyndham continues to maintain and improve its rooms and services despite having very little competition in the area. Overall, it was still a pleasant family stay with a great location, friendly staff, and good potential. With better upkeep and attention to small details, this hotel can easily become the clear standout choice in Fraser’s Hill.

GGuest UserOverall Review: Great Views, But a Noticeable Gap Between Experience and Expectations Overall, this stay had clear pros and cons. The hotel’s location and scenery are undeniably excellent, but there is still considerable room for improvement in areas such as traffic flow planning, facility details, service experience, and privacy management. Given the Ascott brand management and a room rate of RM1,100+ per night, we had expected a more premium accommodation experience. Unfortunately, the actual stay fell short of expectations and did not fully reflect the price point. Pros 1. Excellent Location and Scenic View The hotel is strategically located along a main road and directly opposite a golf course, offering an unobstructed view. Waking up to lush green lawns, blue skies, and white clouds created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 2. Room Layout Suitable for Families or Groups We stayed in a Premium Two-Bedroom Unit, which was nicely designed with a practical layout. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Although the bathrooms were relatively small, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it convenient and comfortable for a group of four. 3. Thoughtful Amenities The hot and cold water dispenser located at the lift lobby was a thoughtful touch. The room also came with a kettle, which was especially convenient for families and guests who prefer hot drinks. Cons 1. Bed Comfort Could Be Improved The bed was Queen-sized, but the mattress felt rather firm, while the pillows were overly large and thick, making the sleeping experience less comfortable. 2. Lift Access System Was Not Sensitive Enough The lift card scanning sensor was not very responsive. When staying on a lower floor, there were occasions where the access card had not yet been detected before the lift had already passed the intended floor, which affected convenience and user experience. 3. Poor Drop-Off and Parking Layout The luggage unloading area was located at the entrance of the parking area, where the road was narrow and often obstructed traffic flow. In addition, after rainfall, the parking area had significant puddles, making it inconvenient to walk, especially when carrying luggage. 4. Limited Check-In Space The check-in reception area was relatively small and struggled to handle the holiday crowd. During peak periods, the space became congested and chaotic. 5. Narrow Public Areas and Restaurant Queue Management The hotel hallways were generally narrow. While it is understandable that queues are unavoidable during peak travel seasons, the restaurant waiting area was clearly unable to accommodate the volume of guests, resulting in congestion. 6. Inefficient Dining Area Layout The food serving area could be better organized, especially around the coffee machine section. Despite having multiple machines, they were still insufficient to handle the high guest volume, leading to long queues. 7. Privacy Concerns The hotel should consider implementing stricter drone control policies within the property. While staying on the 4th floor, we woke up to find a drone flying past our open balcony/door area, which felt intrusive and raised privacy concerns. 8. Mismatch Between Price and Experience We chose this property largely because of the Ascott brand reputation and the RM1,100+ nightly rate, expecting a more premium level of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. From operational details to service quality, the hotel did not reflect the level typically associated with its pricing and branding.

YYigehaoyundongdexiaohai121The rooms were kept pretty clean, though naturally, don't compare them to a luxury 5 or 6-star hotel. The staff were quite friendly. There are lots of monkeys around, so be sure not to leave any food unattended outside, as they're quick to snatch it. The natural surroundings are lovely, and if you have some spare time, you can hike up the mountain behind the hotel for excellent views.

VVasanth Vignesh M RHad a wonderful stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences, Genting Highlands. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. One of the highlights of my stay was the foot massage at the hotel, which was very relaxing after a long day. The food was also good, with a nice variety of options and great taste. The breakfast area was quite crowded in the morning, but I visited during a long weekend, so that was understandable. Despite the crowd, the staff managed the situation well. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Great service, comfortable facilities, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Genting Highlands and would happily stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

TTriple A TourRecently we stayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel’s location is very strategic, especially for visitors who want easy access to Kea Farm and other nearby attractions. It is convenient for food hunting, shopping, and sightseeing around Cameron Highlands. The basement parking at the hotel was acceptable, although the number of parking spaces is somewhat limited. For guests staying in the house units, parking is much better as it is available directly in front of the room, making it very convenient. The check-in process was fair, with a reasonable waiting time, while the checkout experience was smooth and efficient. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The amenities provided could be enhanced to offer a better guest experience. Room cleanliness also requires more attention, as housekeeping standards should be improved to ensure guests enjoy a more comfortable and pleasant stay. Overall, Copthorne Cameron Highlands offers a great location and convenient parking options, but improvements in amenities and room cleanliness would significantly enhance the overall stay experience.

GGuest UserThis is our first stay in ion delemen for 4D3N. The unit is very spacious and clean however we faced some difficulties as below. 1. Broken bedframe: One of the room bed is broken and we have reported to the reception immediately however no action was taken nor any updates was received. There are difficulties every time when we sleep on it as it is unstable. 2. Wifi connection: Throughout our stay, we unable to connect to hotel WiFi and no action was taken to rectify it. 3. Noisy door: There's a very annoying sound every time when we open or close the room door.

GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience! We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness. The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.

SSHEREEN KHAIRUNISAThe place itself is nice, and the unit is very spacious — definitely suitable for a big family. We enjoyed the stay overall because the house was comfortable and had plenty of space for everyone. However, the check-in process was a bit confusing at first. We initially went to a different receptionist because we thought it was the correct one, but apparently they were from a different company. We were quite surprised to find out that we had to collect the key from the MyNews store, where someone was waiting there. Honestly, it felt a little suspicious at first because 3 days before our stay, I had a few questions to ask but the contact number provided couldn’t be reached at all, and nobody replied. When we arrived during the rain and went to the wrong place to collect the key, we kept calling and trying to find someone but couldn’t get through. Luckily, we eventually figured it out. The unit also had a washing machine, but unfortunately it wasn’t usable. We also had some difficulty entering the unit at first because the key card didn’t detect properly. My suggestion would be to provide an active contact number that guests can easily reach and clearer instructions on where and how to collect the key, especially if calls are difficult to answer. That would make the overall experience much smoother.
