I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

The environment is pleasant, and the location is convenient as it is situated in front of a mall. The room is also spacious. However, the housekeeping aspect is somewhat unsatisfactory. Although housekeeping is provided daily, the cleaning appears to be minimal. The floor is neither swept nor vacuumed, resulting in dust accumulation. In addition, the management should pay closer attention to the condition of the rooms. In my case, the bathroom door hinge was almost detached, which could pose a safety risk to guests. I hope these matters can be improved in the future.

The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Overall, everything was very good and satisfying, except for the pizza I had by the beach, which had a hair in it. Someone did come and replace it with a new pizza, but the time taken to prepare the replacement was very long, to the point that I had already lost my mood to enjoy the pizza. The first time I ordered, the food arrived very quickly, but when they replaced it, I had to wait for quite a long time. This was very disappointing.

located about a 12 minute drive away from 1st world genting navigating isolated roads that connects to the ion garden areas. parking easy to navigate, drove up to the first floor and parked there with no hassle at all, went to check in on the G floor smoothly into a room that was no satisfactory (corner room) overlooking to the other corner of the building, due to my religious beliefs I had to haggle for a different room that's the same sizing as my attained one (similar pricing) superior king room.... front house handled it perfectly, I made a mistake for not getting her name for a recommendation but it's what anyone would expect from a 5 star establishment, professionalism.....she wears glasses and has dyed reddish tied hair she arranged me to a room (floor 38) with a balcony view that overlooked the hills surrounding the genting highland area, briefed me about the amenities that the hotel provides and plus clearly instructed on how I can park for free within the premises room was amazing, splendid view, showers were clean with optimal water pressure, tv worked as it should connected to my phone via screen cast, Mini bar...well...it's just there if u need it for the breakfast however, wide selection, like any buffet breakfast you'd get at such establishment, but nothing too good nor nothing bad can be mentioned. good view tho if seated around the windows for a view while eating the meal, sufficient space for a crowd, doesn't get too cramped amenities however, couldn't really say much, they have a pool and a small heated pool, didn't use it as it was crowded with foreign nationals (came in tour buses) that aren't rather hygienically taking care of the premises several meeting rooms and a gym, (necessary equipped for the gym), kids playroom... rather small..but I can't imagine a kid at this era would spent time in a playroom much rather than on their smartphones

This is the second time I have booked and stayed in this place. I was given the exact same room that I had stayed on my first time. Everything is still in good condition and well maintained 👍

I was satisfied with the room cleanliness, and the customer service hotline was responsive and efficient whenever assistance was needed. The location is also very convenient. There is a shopping mall located downstairs, and guests can easily access Genting Highlands via the linked bridge, which takes only about 20 minutes on foot. However, the check-in experience was disappointing. We had to wait more than one hour to check in, and there was no prior notice regarding the delay. Upon arrival, guests were required to take a queue number and wait, which made the process even longer and more frustrating. Better planning, staffing, and communication during peak periods would greatly improve the guest experience. Another concern I was also unhappy was the service attitude of the manager, Kenny. His communication came across as rude and unprofessional, which made an already frustrating situation worse. A manager should be able to handle guest concerns professionally and respectfully. I hope the management will provide additional customer service training to improve service standards. Overall, while the location, facilities, room cleanliness, and customer support were positive aspects of the stay, significant improvements are needed in check-in efficiency, communication, and staff professionalism. With these improvements, the overall guest experience would be much better.

One-night last-minute stay at The Kasturi Resort, Cherating with my husband and two kids. First time here and overall satisfied. Calm, relaxing resort and we enjoyed the spa. However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

I recently stayed at Scapes Hotel Genting for a one-night leisure trip and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, with a relaxing atmosphere that feels slightly away from the busy Genting crowd, which I appreciated. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, suitable for a short getaway. The bed was cozy and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good night’s rest. Basic amenities were well provided, and the overall cleanliness met expectations. One of the highlights was the facilities — especially the swimming pool area, which was well maintained and great for relaxing. The surrounding environment also gives a peaceful resort-like vibe compared to staying directly at the main Genting area. Location-wise, it is slightly away from Genting SkyWorlds and SkyAvenue, so having your own transport or using ride-hailing services makes getting around much easier. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, ideal for a short leisure escape or weekend retreat. I would consider returning again for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.
