I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

The environment is pleasant, and the location is convenient as it is situated in front of a mall. The room is also spacious. However, the housekeeping aspect is somewhat unsatisfactory. Although housekeeping is provided daily, the cleaning appears to be minimal. The floor is neither swept nor vacuumed, resulting in dust accumulation. In addition, the management should pay closer attention to the condition of the rooms. In my case, the bathroom door hinge was almost detached, which could pose a safety risk to guests. I hope these matters can be improved in the future.

The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable. The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well. Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice. It was a happy and comfortable overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

Overall, everything was very good and satisfying, except for the pizza I had by the beach, which had a hair in it. Someone did come and replace it with a new pizza, but the time taken to prepare the replacement was very long, to the point that I had already lost my mood to enjoy the pizza. The first time I ordered, the food arrived very quickly, but when they replaced it, I had to wait for quite a long time. This was very disappointing.

The view here is really beautiful — I was lucky enough to get the carpet cloud view, memang cantik sangat especially from my room on the 43rd floor. The room itself was comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels quite premium. A few things can be improved though. Inside the room, the phone line was almost non-existent and the WiFi was quite weak/slow. Another confusing part is the lift area — once you come out from the elevator, there’s no proper signage or directory showing whether your room is on the left or right side, and no room number guide on each floor, so it can be quite confusing at first. Parking-wise I can’t comment much since I used the valet service, which was convenient. Breakfast was okay with quite a lot of choices. If you’re paying during walk-in, it’s around RM80 per person. Overall, still a nice stay mainly because of the amazing view and cool weather.

This is the second time I have booked and stayed in this place. I was given the exact same room that I had stayed on my first time. Everything is still in good condition and well maintained 👍

2nd time I'm staying here. Unfortunately this time I got level 12 compared to the 1st time I've been here before at level 42. I requested the highest level floor but I got level 12. This time when the sliding door opens there's smelly like people cooking. There are no indoor slippers and coffee cups provided here compared to the other unit I stayed at before. For this time check in I feel so bad and dissatisfied.

One-night last-minute stay at The Kasturi Resort, Cherating with my husband and two kids. First time here and overall satisfied. Calm, relaxing resort and we enjoyed the spa. However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

I recently stayed at Scapes Hotel Genting for a one-night leisure trip and had a pleasant overall experience. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, suitable for a short getaway. The bed was cozy and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good night’s rest. Basic amenities were well provided, and the overall cleanliness met expectations. One of the highlights was the facilities — especially the swimming pool area, which was well maintained and great for relaxing. The surrounding environment also gives a peaceful resort-like vibe compared to staying directly at the main Genting area. Location-wise, it is slightly away from Genting SkyWorlds and SkyAvenue, so having your own transport or using ride-hailing services makes getting around much easier. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, ideal for a short leisure escape or weekend retreat. I would consider returning again for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.
