The loft bed max weight is 80kg (I did not see this notice anywhere before booking the room) - end up, we did not stay the loft top bed - 6 of us squeezed into 2 queen beds (2 of us squeezing in between the beds). Is good if hotel can raise this 'max 80kg' somewhere! One natural problem - outside wind strong - sometimes really very noisy - hotel can consider fixing something that can tone down the noise. The rest are just good!

The 2-bedroom apartment was overall nice and comfortable. The furniture, though a bit old, was clean and well-maintained, just like the bed and mattress, which were also clean and in good condition. However, the water heater was not an instant type and needed 30 minutes to heat up, which was a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, our experience took a negative turn on the day of check-out. Around 10:30 AM, the electricity supply to our unit was cut off. We immediately contacted the hotel reception, and they arranged for a technician who arrived at 11:15 AM. Upon inspection, the technician informed us that the distribution board was damaged and couldn't be repaired. He mentioned that customer service would arrange a temporary room for us to shower since Cameron Highlands is cold, and this provided us with some relief at the time. However, the hotel never arranged for an alternative, and we ended up having to shower with cold, freezing water. While the apartment itself was comfortable, the lack of proper follow-up and service during the power outage left us disappointed.

Also staff should improve in how they refill the food. The food is finish at 9am and guest need to queue for refill which take up to 30 min per food, otherwise the refilled food will be gone in 5 min cause they just refill 1 small plate (dessert plate).

I gave no complaint about this hotel except for a few 1. The path from parking level 1,2,3 to the lift lobby should be well lit and bright and should not look like a backyard. The lift area at parking should be paint and clean up. After all this is 4 or 5 star property in Kuantan 2. Coffee house stop serving coffee and anything at 1030 am. Only tea. That is strange. However, the pillowcase was old and had started to pill, creating small fabric balls that made it feel rough and unpleasant and an unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. Other than that, everything else was fine. Would consider staying again if housekeeping improves.

I would appreciate the owner as he literally concerned about customers stay which included availability of parking as well. Snacks provided by them brought back all the child memories. We recently stayed at Magtree Genting hotel, in room 2004, tower 4, and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel is generally okay, but there are a few areas that need improvement. Firstly, the bunk bed in our room seemed to be broken. When our children slept on it, the bed shook quite a bit, which was concerning. This issue needs to be addressed promptly, either by repairing or replacing the bunk bed to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests. Secondly, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was not cleaned thoroughly, and this was quite disappointing. A higher standard of cleanliness is expected, especially in the bathroom area. As for the breakfast, it was just so-so. The selection was quite limited, with options such as fried noodles, fried rice, Nasi lemak, soup noodles, small sausages, fried eggs, roti canai, curry chicken and bread. However, there was no milk, cereal, or cake for the children. Additionally, we found that the creamer seemed to have been bitten by either a cockroach or a mouse, which was quite unappetizing. We have photos to support this observation. Overall, while the hotel is generally okay, there are significant areas that need improvement, particularly with the bunk bed, bathroom cleanliness, and breakfast quality. Love the king sized bed and all the big pillows. Room was big enough and comes with a sofa bed. Toilet also very clean and comes with bottled shower gels, shampoo and conditioner. Look very organised and complete. Food during breakfast was also very nice, served by well-mannered waiters and chefs. Plenty of delicious food to choose from. I particularly like the vege fritters they cooked, brings back old memories when i was little, living in kampung with my late mom. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying there and would definitely come back whenever I'm Kuantan.

During our sightseeing trip from 1 pm to 10 pm, we returned to find the towels we had used earlier that morning, wet and folded on the table instead of being replaced with fresh ones. Additionally, our used cup had not been washed and was left untouched. Location & Amenities: The location was great, and the kids had a fantastic time, especially in the pool area. We were happy to sit back, relax, and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves—it was incredibly calming. We were planning to shorten our stay from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night due to heavy rainfall, flooding in some areas, and car issues. We asked her at the front desk, after consulting Trip.Com, if we could shorten our stay. Instead of showing understanding, she kept saying she couldn't assist and that the Manager on Duty was unavailable. She directed us to deal with Trip.Com the following day, which we understood. However, when I asked if, in case Trip.Com approved our request, we could check out later (around 1 or 2 pm), she refused. She claimed they couldn’t offer a late check-out as the hotel was fully booked. I was shocked, as I was giving up an extra night and yet wasn’t granted even a late check-out at 12:30 pm, and yet she was mentioned it will be chargeable. To my surprise, I later checked online and saw plenty of rooms available and an empty pool. This was disappointing. Just imagine, i am planning to give away my extra night and when i wasnt able to get a slightly late check out due to fully booked ? what ridiculous is this ? IF, we requested late check out on the actual check out date, i totally understand . But this is another way round and she left me speechless. On a positive note, Mr. Aftar, Mr. Azlan, and Mr. Rahmat were understanding and helpful. Despite not asking for much, their suggestions, empathy, and sincerity made a significant difference in our stay. It was because of them that we decided to continue our stay and cancel our initial plans. A big thank you to them for their kindness and helpfulness, always checking in to see if we needed assistance and offering thoughtful suggestions. Overall Experience: Our overall stay was very good and enjoyable. The kids loved the pool and the sightseeing views.
