Stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and it was such a relaxing experience. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a short escape from the city. The hotel is located right by the beach, so you get a beautiful natural vibe throughout your stay.
The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. Hotel facilities are great, including a swimming pool, gym, kids-friendly areas, and dining options, all well-maintained and convenient for both couples and families.
The highlight is definitely the view 🌅 You can catch both stunning sunrise and sunset by the beach, which makes it extra special. Waking up to the sea view and ending the day with golden sunset moments is just perfect.
Hotel Manager Mark and front desk staff Izzat really made us felt really welcome and all the hotel staffs are so helpful and friendly. Top notch hospitality. The first hour after checked in, me and my husband have planned to visit here again. We love the serenity this place offers, although it’s just an hour drive from KL city. The room is comfortable and amenities are great. Thank u for the wonderful service, we will be back soon.
I booked 3 rooms and happy that two of them are connecting rooms. Overall satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staffs and the facilities provided. Swimming pool could be better if there's not that much of dirt seen at the bottom.
My recent stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a pleasant and memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel gave a comfortable, modern, and welcoming impression. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk team was professional, helpful, and efficient. Their warm attitude immediately made the stay feel positive, especially after a long journey.
The hotel’s overall environment was clean, calm, and well maintained. The lobby had a simple yet elegant design, creating a relaxing atmosphere without feeling overcrowded or overly formal. It is the kind of hotel that feels practical for both business and leisure travellers. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby food outlets, shops, and key areas around Kuantan. This made moving around much easier and helped make the short stay more enjoyable.
The room was one of the highlights of the stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well arranged. The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job.
The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay.
Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable.
The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well.
Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice.
It was a happy and comfortable overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to return again in the future.
Had a pleasant stay at Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Kuantan. The room was clean and comfortable, and the beachfront location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Facilities like the pool were great, though breakfast could be a bit crowded. Overall, good value for a short, peaceful stay.
The view here is really beautiful — I was lucky enough to get the carpet cloud view, memang cantik sangat especially from my room on the 43rd floor. The room itself was comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels quite premium.
A few things can be improved though. Inside the room, the phone line was almost non-existent and the WiFi was quite weak/slow. Another confusing part is the lift area — once you come out from the elevator, there’s no proper signage or directory showing whether your room is on the left or right side, and no room number guide on each floor, so it can be quite confusing at first.
Parking-wise I can’t comment much since I used the valet service, which was convenient. Breakfast was okay with quite a lot of choices. If you’re paying during walk-in, it’s around RM80 per person.
Overall, still a nice stay mainly because of the amazing view and cool weather.
Pro:
The room was spacious for the price it was well worth it, location is great as well its near to the centre of the area..theres a lot of shop lot there. Amenities is bare necessity nothing fancy but u can get toothbrush kit shampoo n bodywash, in the kitchen there's microwave plates bowls n complete cutlery set n dishwash soap. The facilites around the apartment is great there's a lot to explore
Cons:
What i disappoint was the washing machine has broken and they can't fix the issue right away and only offer me a late checkout so i have to wash all my cloth manually and they can't dried out even within 2 days due to the weather. Hope they would've offer better solution to others next time mybe an offer to a free laundry service or something..also they don't have tissue prepared just the cheap toilet roll which would break easily, would be better if they also prepare face tissue as well..the towel is very dirty i couldn't dare to use as i have skin allergy and last but not least there's karaoke n game room as well there but the price you have to pay is really ridiculous few hundred for few hours just for karaoke is insane 😂
2nd time I'm staying here. Unfortunately this time I got level 12 compared to the 1st time I've been here before at level 42. I requested the highest level floor but I got level 12. This time when the sliding door opens there's smelly like people cooking. There are no indoor slippers and coffee cups provided here compared to the other unit I stayed at before. For this time check in I feel so bad and dissatisfied.
As advertised, The Kasturi was amazing! From the supremely friendly and helpful staff to the room I booked - the bathroom, the view, the resto, the beach, everything was what I was looking for in a year end vacay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you for such great hospitality!
I recently stayed at Scapes Hotel Genting for a one-night leisure trip and had a pleasant overall experience.
The hotel has a modern and stylish design, with a relaxing atmosphere that feels slightly away from the busy Genting crowd, which I appreciated. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, suitable for a short getaway. The bed was cozy and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good night’s rest. Basic amenities were well provided, and the overall cleanliness met expectations.
One of the highlights was the facilities — especially the swimming pool area, which was well maintained and great for relaxing. The surrounding environment also gives a peaceful resort-like vibe compared to staying directly at the main Genting area.
Location-wise, it is slightly away from Genting SkyWorlds and SkyAvenue, so having your own transport or using ride-hailing services makes getting around much easier.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, ideal for a short leisure escape or weekend retreat. I would consider returning again for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.

NNFaaaaaaaaHSecond time staying at this hotel.
1. Location wise is best. It is in the centre facing the golf resort.
2. Walking distance for eateries.
3. View is superb. Depends on the weather, it could be very misty at night and morning. And the view is so serene.
4. Staff is very polite and friendly. Front desk and restaurant crew is very helpful. This is a very plus point for me.
5. Food is so so. Selection is modest but hearty. Breakfast this time is buffet style. The first time I went, it is based on order. I think it is based on the number of guest on that day.
6. There is parking available for the guest but it is on first come first serve basis.
7. Beds are comfy.
8. Cleanliness still needs to be improved. There is a black mold in the toilet especially around the rubber at the wall.
9. Got some foul smell coming from the toilet. It could be caused by the sewerage system.
GGuest UserOverall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room and overall environment were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. The location is also very convenient — within around 15 minutes’ drive to popular attractions such as Kea Farm, Agro Market, and Cameron Valley. It is also located right next to Tokyo Town, making it easy to find food and shops nearby.
However, there are a few areas for improvement. The toilet space is relatively small, which may feel a bit cramped for some guests. In addition, although free-flow drinking water from Cuckoo is provided, guests need to walk out to the corridor near the lift to collect it, which can be slightly inconvenient.
Overall, it is still a good stay considering the cleanliness and strategic location.
YYigehaoyundongdexiaohai121The rooms were kept pretty clean, though naturally, don't compare them to a luxury 5 or 6-star hotel. The staff were quite friendly. There are lots of monkeys around, so be sure not to leave any food unattended outside, as they're quick to snatch it. The natural surroundings are lovely, and if you have some spare time, you can hike up the mountain behind the hotel for excellent views.
Zzila missone“Recently staycation di Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Genting Highlands and overall memang puas hati 🏔️✨
View memang cantik, sejuk dan tenang. Room besar, bersih dan selesa especially untuk family trip. Swimming pool pun best, sesuai untuk budak-budak dan dewasa. Breakfast variety okay dan sedap. Staff friendly & check-in process agak smooth.
Location pun strategic sebab dekat dengan GPO dan Genting area.
NNickJessWe had a wonderful and fabulous stay at the Copthorne Hotel with my family. The ambience was warm and inviting, and we truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It was a perfect short getaway for us. Thank you for such a lovely experience!
GGuest UserMy friend and I each got a king room. Overall, the service and the hotel's garden design were excellent. The price is quite a good value for a villa-style resort of this caliber. There are gardeners maintaining the flowers and plants every day, creating a beautiful 'step-by-step changing scenery' effect. The only minor downside is that some facilities are a bit old, but any issues we raised were immediately resolved. The front desk staff had a slight accent, but for anyone who understands English, communication was perfectly fine.
There's a private beach area upfront where you can relax and watch the sea, which was a really nice touch. There are also cute little cats in the courtyard that will interact and play with you.
AAnonymous User2nd time I'm staying here. Unfortunately this time I got level 12 compared to the 1st time I've been here before at level 42. I requested the highest level floor but I got level 12. AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had mixed experiences. On the plus side, the hotel's mountain-top location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views and a 15-20 minute drive to the theme park and ******. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze.
However, I had some significant concerns with the hotel's facilities, which felt outdated and in need of maintenance. There is a swimming pool with warm water, but no hot water shower at changing room after you swim. It's not possible to shower there before you back to your hotel room. Cleanliness could also be improved too. The biggest headache was the parking - while it's free for hotel guests, the process of validating and exiting the car park was convoluted and stressful, especially during peak hours. I.e. every time you exit the car park, you need to validate your touch n go card at hotel lobby (tower 2) while car park is at tower 7. You have to take lift to level 3 to walk across skybridge and take lift again to collect your car. Don't forget you only have 20 min to exit the car park after validation. And the parking lots themselves were also cramped and challenging to navigate.
The hotel's layout, with multiple towers and levels, was confusing even for me, and I found myself getting lost daily. I e. Check in at tower 2, you may stay at tower 3, car park is at tower 7, and breakfast is at another tower. If you're comfortable with this, you might enjoy your stay, but I'd recommend exploring other options in Genting Highlands.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel! The workers there provided me and my family good services, big thanks to receptionist-Chloe, and Hridoy for making it the best experience.
JJinHon1. The distance to First World Hotel Genting is not far, it only takes about 12 minutes by car.
2. The downside is that I stayed in a large room, and it took a lot of time to find it the first time because I couldn't figure out which tower it was in.
3. The room is well-equipped with hot water, a washing machine, and a hairdryer.
4. It can sleep a lot of people; if you squeeze, 8-9 people could fit. ❤️
5. Remember to hold your room card against the door for a bit longer when opening it.
