The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Yellow River and Marathon Park. The scenery is beautiful, and the geraniums blooming outside the hotel's Western restaurant really put me in a good mood! The warm greeting from the cleaning lady in the lobby made me feel like home. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a beautiful view of the Yellow River. The breakfast was also hearty, and the bowl of Lanzhou ramen was especially satisfying! Overall, it was a pleasant trip, absolutely amazing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. I'll definitely come back again if I have the chance. Highly recommended!

The hotel room is nice, but as soon as you get out of the elevator you'll be hit by a sudden burst of aromatherapy, which makes you feel dizzy and uncomfortable. The front desk had an indifferent attitude. When I checked in, there were three people at the front desk but no guests. No one responded even when I walked to the counter. I had to call out twice before someone looked up and checked me in. It was very uncomfortable. No one always answers the phone.

The hot and cold water in the shower seemed to be flowing. It was obviously very embarrassing to have hot water coming out even though it was completely cold. It took a while for it to recover... The decoration is older, and the breakfast is average, but the small balcony is actually It's quite comfortable... What can I say? I hope the catering can be strengthened, and the bedding can be updated at once. It's really quite old... It's all a bit yellow...

The laundry room is so awful. I went there originally because I wanted to wash clothes, but I ended up finding two cheap washing machines, one of which was broken. I didn't know that at the time, so I threw the clothes in and they got wet. It didn't spin for a long time, and it even started smoking. I almost ruined my clothes... The room is ok. If you're just staying here, there's no problem. But if you're there just to wash clothes like me, you'd better look at other places.

This is a very cost-effective hotel. The front desk is very friendly. The hygiene is a little worse, but the room is very warm and spacious, suitable for babies with a lot of luggage. The Dang River is right at the door and the environment is good. It is convenient to go anywhere. After all, Dunhuang is not big, and it is quiet here. There is a parking lot, a large free parking lot, and a charging station next to it.

Visiting Dunhuang in spring was an absolute delight! The city is incredibly clean and tidy, with well-organized streets, making for an excellent overall experience. The hotel I stayed at offered top-notch service, was spotlessly clean, and paid attention to every little detail, making me feel very comfortable and secure. And the food? Oh, I have to rave about the food! The donkey meat yellow noodles were perfectly chewy and flavorful, the Huyang焖饼 (braised lamb pancake) was rich and fragrant, and to top it all off, a glass of Li Guang apricot peel water was refreshing and cut through the richness. It was all full of authentic local flavors. Beautiful scenery, a clean city, great accommodation, and delicious food—Dunhuang is definitely worth another visit!

Every time I choose Xiongyue Hotel, the transportation is convenient, the environment is elegant, the service is thoughtful, and you can take a bath and watch movies, rest for free, and taste a variety of fruits.

We were not impressed, especially for the price. We've stayed at hotels that are similarly priced and expected much better. To be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture, the room interiors, and the breakfast and drinks to get were all very nice. However, the problems started at arrival. We were told the afternoon tea was cancelled and the restaurant was fully booked because of an event. No one told us this in advance, which was very disappointing. The check-in was disorganized. The receptionist (who was also the manager) turned away to help someone else while I was still talking to her. She didn't give us our room keys, saying the bell boy would open the door. But when we got to the room, the bell boy had to walk all the way back to get the keys. The bell boys were actually very friendly and helpful—the only good part. To make things stranger, the female manager called me a few hours after we checked out. She asked how the event affected our stay. I was busy and rushing around, and the call worried me—I thought I had left something behind. Asking for our opinion after we left was too late. They should have asked us during our stay, or better yet, informed us before we even arrived. So, while the place is beautiful, the poor communication and service ruined the experience. We wouldn't stay here again for the price.
