Hotels With bar in Aomori Prefecture, Japan

Right above Aomori Station, this hotel's location is super convenient, with direct access to JR from the lobby. It's often fully booked, so the hot spring is usually quite busy no matter when you go, but they do have real apples in the onsen! There's a hot bath and a slightly cooler one, both very comfortable. The spa, yoga, and dining are mostly extra charges, but there are plenty of activities. The rooms don't have bathtubs, which makes sense since everyone's expected to use the large hot spring. The facilities and equipment are quite new, the bed is very comfortable, and you can see all the best parts of Aomori from your window, including the bay and the bridge.

The Towada Winter Story Festival was a total bust, but Lake Towada itself was an unexpected delight – absolutely stunning. By chance, I even hiked a portion of the Oirase Stream in the morning. The weather, with snow one minute and clear skies the next, added so much character to the lake's scenery. The hotel room was spacious, and it was quite an interesting check-in experience, using very old-fashioned keys and a metal door.

We thought it's going to be fresh in August up the mountain but it wasn't. Very hot and without air-conditioning you'll be suffering. Rooms are tiny and it barely fit 4 people. Road to get there is rough so make sure you have an off road car (the last 5 min only). The onsen is insanely beautiful especially the women's. Food was pre-served and left out in the heat to stand. Didn't look particularly appealing. Shared bathrooms.

Breakfast and dinner are divided into Japanese and Western styles. Dinner is very ceremonial, especially French food. The hotel is very close to the ski resort and Suantang Hot Spring, and there is a shuttle bus. The restaurant has a good view. It is very pleasant to sit in the warm restaurant, drink hot coffee, and look at the snow outside.

The tea and coffee service for the meal are delicious and surprised. I thought the service was very good for the price. It was a surprise even though the futon was laid. Very happy. It was a service that I wanted to dive as it was. The bath is far away, but the morning bath is very beautiful and amazing. I was able to spend a leisurely time. Also, I knew that there were 33 lakes in the poster in the building, and I went around the next day. There was a good response. I think it is a good hotel for the price.

A very sincere family-run hot spring hotel. The hostess is the mother and the son is the boss. They are both very enthusiastic and attentive. The hospitality is top-notch and full of warmth. There is a small corridor in the side hall for free flow after 5 o'clock😎 Various alcoholic drinks and my favorite Aomori apple juice. The boss played the shamisen to entertain everyone. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast and dinner were very rich. The local cuisine was fresh and delicious. Free flow continued 🤣 The room was very spacious and clean. I slept very well. The large bath will not disappoint. I slept until dawn after taking a bath. The three-day and two-night stay was really comfortable.

This hotel faces Lake Towada, offering a beautiful and quiet environment with a real vacation vibe. The gentleman at the front desk was also very friendly. The room facilities are quite new and modern, so it doesn't feel old-fashioned at all. The mattress was especially soft and comfortable. There's also a small indoor bath in the common area. The only downside was the breakfast, which was quite simple – just toast and salad. It would have been perfect if the food matched the quality of the stay.

The location is fantastic, right by the JR station. This was incredibly convenient given the heavy snow in Hirosaki, as I didn't have to drag my luggage far. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent. It's also very close to Hirosaki Castle, within walking distance or you can catch a bus right outside. There's even a direct bus to Morioka from the front of the hotel, which I'd consider for my next trip – super convenient without having to take the Shinkansen!

This hotel is right next to the ski resort. The snow quality is excellent, and on a clear day, you can even see Hokkaido across the Sea of Japan from the summit. It seems that over half of the guests are international visitors. I didn't encounter a single foreign guest who was loud or bothersome. The staff all appear to speak both English and Chinese. While the variety at the buffet might be a bit limited, they do ensure it's always replenished. The food is tasty. Disposable slippers are provided, but they're very thin, so you feel the cold directly. I saw many people who had brought their own flip-flops.

This is really a great hotel. Staff are all nice, hotel’s facility is also good. Free drink and snacks are available in hotel lounge. Highly recommended to anyone who planned to tour in Aomori!
