Drawing back the curtains in the room, the Potala Palace appears in full view, unobstructed, offering unique and stunning scenery in the morning, at dusk, and at night. The hotel's attention to detail is truly thoughtful, providing the 'Lhasa essentials': oxygen, underfloor heating, and humidifiers, which greatly alleviate the discomfort of high-altitude travel. The daily complimentary fresh fruit and free postcard mailing service make you feel incredibly well-cared for. The location is also impeccable; it's just a few minutes' walk to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street, making it super convenient to explore Lhasa's main attractions. The viewing restaurant on the sixth floor offers excellent views, allowing you to enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea while admiring the Potala Palace, creating an absolutely fantastic atmosphere.

Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics.
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available.
Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs!
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!
I booked this hotel when I was traveling with my family. This hotel is considered very good in Linzhi. The hotel is in authentic ******* style, the rooms are also very nice, and the overall design is very unique. The breakfast is also very rich, and there are many ******* lifestyle experience programs. The hotel's butler, Mr. Cicheng, waited for us until 12 o'clock on the first night. He really cared for us meticulously, which touched us. The hotel's airport driver was also very enthusiastic, and we were very satisfied

I booked this hotel for a three day stay and had an amazing time. The front desk staff and the third-floor restaurant team were incredibly kind, sweet, polite, and respectful. The food was not only super delicious but also reasonably priced. The bathroom and blankets in the room were all spotlessly clean. It’s absolutely worth a visit – I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lhasa who’s struggling to pick a place to stay. You won’t regret booking here.
There’s room for improvement for the check in service. I provide my personal id card for check in but the customer service requested me the booking number which I find it ridiculous. The hotel was booked under my name and they supposed could have checked my booking right away. The customer service replied that it was relatively troublesome if only id is provided. I am clueless as to the standard of customer service provided by this 5 stars hotel. The rest of my stay is pleasant.
Motorcycle Travel 318, this hotel should be very comfortable. Many mainland hotels do not have massage chairs. It only costs more than 300 yuan and has a massage chair. The environment is also very good. I like it very much. The sweet little buns for breakfast are especially delicious. I think the breakfast is very rich, with a lot of porridge and vegetables. Love it. It would be great if there were such hotels in the mainland.

Our butler, Alan, provided excellent service. The hotel's location is generally good, and some room types even offer views of the Potala Palace. They provide complimentary fruit and yogurt, and there's a turndown service where they make the bed and arrange your shoes. The front desk staff are all very handsome and beautiful, and incredibly friendly. Breakfast was also fantastic. Very satisfied!
Hygiene: Hygiene is very good, that is, the shower is not very good when I live on the first day, and the water is very hot.
Facilities: The facilities are also OK, it used to be the James Joyce brand, now change the name to do it yourself!
Environment: The surrounding is very convenient, parking is also convenient, remember to register the license plate number.
Service: The front desk beauty service is very good and very warm.
We stayed for three days and will come next time.

Looking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.

It's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

MMendel2haoLet me start with a few direct impressions:
1. After booking, I asked if they could pick me up from Lhasa Station. No problem, a Mercedes sedan was arranged!
2. Upon arrival, the front desk asked if it was my first time in Tibet and Lhasa. It was, so they offered me a cup of Rhodiola tea to relieve fatigue and help with acclimatization!
3. I stayed for two consecutive nights and got a free upgrade to a deluxe twin room!
Can any other tourist city in the country beat that kind of service?
Additionally, the hotel's decor and interior exude a strong ******* style and ambiance. Facing Nanshan, the words ”Long Live the Motherland” are clearly visible. It's also very close to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Tibet Museum, and Norbulingka (all within a 20-minute walk).

11398221****This was my first time in Lhasa, and when I was booking a hotel, I was immediately drawn to Fanlian's decor. The aromatherapy inside the hotel was very pleasant, and the interior design was exactly my style. Being welcomed with a Hada (******* ceremonial scarf) and hot tea made me feel right at home instantly. The hotel offers many experiential activities like yoga, ******* incense making, and meditation. The room was very comfortable, equipped with a humidifier and diffused oxygen. The warm porridge provided nightly in a thermos was a lovely touch. I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Lhasa. Each room also comes with a dedicated butler who is attentive and meticulous, answering any questions promptly. This was a very satisfying stay.
LLvlingfan007The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.
