The hotel service was exceptionally good. Seeing that we had a child, they upgraded our room. The room had both floor heating and air conditioning, and it was well-ventilated beforehand, so the air was fresh. I forgot to take pictures, but the sixth-floor panoramic restaurant was really nice, and the breakfast was also excellent. I recommend the sweet tea. The picture was taken before the sun came out, and by the time it did, halfway through my meal, I forgot to take another photo. The hotel's location is very convenient for visiting the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. The only drawback is that the parking lot is in the square next door, but the hotel reimburses the parking fee, and it's not too far.
My stay at the Crown Hotel in Linzhi truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's surroundings were truly stunning. From the window, I could see the mountains and greenery. The lobby and room decor were warm and elegant, reflecting local characteristics. The facilities were impeccable. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. Every detail was meticulously thought out, making my stay truly comfortable.
I especially want to commend our housekeeper, Xiao Miao, for her thoughtful and caring attitude throughout the entire stay. She proactively recommended local cuisine and the hotel's amenities. Her warmth and attentiveness, like a friend, made my entire stay even more heartwarming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Linzhi!

Choosing the St. Regis for my高原 (plateau/high-altitude) trip meant choosing peace of mind and safety – it was a thrilling yet fortunate journey to Tibet. I stayed at the St. Regis Lhasa for 7 consecutive days during the Chinese New Year. After initially acclimatizing to the altitude, I suddenly caught a cold on the 4th day due to a health issue, which then escalated into severe altitude sickness. I experienced intense headaches and dizziness, and I was staggering when I walked. Thankfully, I was at the St. Regis. I quickly went to the medical room for oxygen and medication, then immediately returned to my room to rest. The high-quality oxygen concentrator in the room was a huge help. At the time, my companion had gone to Everest Base Camp, so I was alone, toughing it out. Although there were many tourists during the Chinese New Year, the hotel was very accommodating with my room arrangements after I communicated with them. The restaurant staff, a lovely lady (wearing a blue ******* dress with an LV crossbody bag), helped deliver meals to my room and consistently showed warm care and concern. My butler also frequently sent WeChat messages reminding me about safety precautions. The concierge manager (a ******* gentleman) also proactively looked after me, providing services and arrangements far beyond the hotel's usual scope. Despite some twists and misunderstandings along the way, it ultimately led to the best possible outcome for this Tibet trip. All in all, choosing the St. Regis for my Tibet trip was a wise decision. The reliable medical facilities and equipment, the thoughtful service, and the unique charm of Tibet that could be felt in every corner and detail of the hotel made a difference. I will definitely stay at the St. Regis again when I return to Lhasa!

I booked this hotel for a three day stay and had an amazing time. The front desk staff and the third-floor restaurant team were incredibly kind, sweet, polite, and respectful. The food was not only super delicious but also reasonably priced. The bathroom and blankets in the room were all spotlessly clean. It’s absolutely worth a visit – I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lhasa who’s struggling to pick a place to stay. You won’t regret booking here.

Staying in Lhasa's 400-year-old 'Living Fossil'! The Gurkha Hotel is absolutely brilliant!
✨ Seriously, you guys! I stayed at a hotel in Lhasa where you can literally 'touch history.' It instantly transformed my Tibet trip from mere 'sightseeing' into a truly immersive experience. This blogger is officially obsessed and wholeheartedly recommends it!
🏨 First off, the location is absolutely tailor-made for an in-depth exploration—right in the heart of the Barkhor Street kora route, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! In the early morning, you can follow the elderly faithful along the cobblestone paths during their kora. In the evening, after browsing the shops on Barkhor Street, you can simply turn around and step right into this Tibetan-style courtyard. The sheer bliss of not having to rush back is something only those who stay here will truly understand! 🙌🏻
🌅 But what truly makes it special is its 'heritage'! Once the Nepalese Consulate, this 400-year-old building still bears the marks of time: ******* carvings on the wooden beams, prayer wheels in the courtyard, prayer flags hanging from the eaves. Even the angle at which the sunlight hits the stone paths feels like a replication of old times. Sipping a coffee in the incredibly atmospheric courtyard, your fingertips tracing the warm cup, the aroma of coffee mingling with the serene tranquility of Tibet—time itself seems to slow down. ☕️~
⚠️ And here’s the highlight: the check-in perks that truly elevate the '******* cultural experience' to the max:
1️⃣ Free ******* clothing rental! Wearing it to stroll Barkhor Street, passersby actually thought I was a local, and my photos felt incredibly authentic and immersive!~
2️⃣ The hotel offers 10 complimentary courtyard travel photoshoots. They have their own photography studio, and the photographers are experts at capturing the light and shadows of the ancient architecture. No need to find angles yourself; effortlessly capture those 'timeless' and 'epic' shots!
3️⃣ The room comes with a special high-altitude care package! Face masks, conditioner, essential oil makeup remover—all provided. They understand the challenges of high-altitude dryness and our thoughtful skincare needs.~
4️⃣ Free admission to the Gesar Japo Museum! Listen to staff share stories of the consulate from 400 years ago, then enjoy a complimentary sweet tea. You'll instantly grasp the 'romance of old Lhasa'!
What's even more surprising is how modern comforts are seamlessly integrated within this ancient structure! Rooms are equipped with oxygen facilities, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep even at high altitude. The rooftop cafe offers stunning night views of the Potala Palace. A latte enjoyed with that ancient building view? Pure bliss! The breakfast's ******* noodles and tsampa (a traditional ******* staple food) are incredibly authentic! And the service? Absolutely impeccable! The front desk staff offer traditional Hada scarves and sweet tea, and the security guards help with luggage, showing incredible care, just like family!
Coming to Lhasa and want to stay comfortably while deeply experiencing ******* culture? Look no further! Staying here isn't just about a night's rest; it's about creating a ******* story that will forever be etched in your memory.~
📍 Location: No. 45 Linkuo South Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa
The location of the hotel is excellent, on the edge of the Yarlung Zangbo River, completely unobstructed, is the best location in the village, the roof is the best viewing platform, the hotel is very new and clean, the bedding is good, the breakfast is rich, especially the manager, super warm, first-class service attitude, When I left, the little sister at the front desk sent a large bag of snacks, and I had the opportunity to go again. I have introduced other family members to stay at the Peach Blossom Festival.
Highly recommended for their service and cleanliness.buffet dinner and breakfast buffet were awesomely spread..all the staff left a very good memory for their guests..I may not be back this way but should i be..it will be right here!

Lhasa Fanlian Hotel | The Pinnacle of ******* Aesthetics, Impeccable Service & Facilities – A Must-Stay in Lhasa!
My recent trip to Lhasa, staying at the Fanlian Hotel, completely redefined my expectations for high-altitude hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the rich ******* ambiance, incredibly attentive service, luxurious and sophisticated decor, comprehensive oxygen supply system, and astonishing sound quality. The entire experience was exceptional, making it truly the best accommodation in Lhasa!
The hotel's ******* style is profoundly rich, far from just a simple accumulation of elements; it's as if ******* culture is etched into every design detail. The three-story high-ceiling lobby is majestic, with colossal prayer wheels, butter lamps, thangka murals, gilded ornaments, and ******* wood carvings visible everywhere. Red walls paired with traditional patterns create an atmosphere steeped in the unique faith of the holy city, with every step revealing a new vista. The renovated old ******* house spaces in the public areas are even more authentic, perfect for impromptu photos that look like they're from a ******* blockbuster. It's an immersive experience of the depth and beauty of ******* culture, far more authentic than many internet-famous B&Bs.
The decor is luxurious yet tasteful, embodying a ******* light-luxury style. The materials are exquisite, and the craftsmanship is superb. Guest rooms are spacious and grand, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering excellent natural light. Natural material furniture paired with refined ******* soft furnishings creates both the luxurious texture of a high-end hotel and the unique warm ambiance of Tibet. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. Both public areas and guest rooms are spotlessly clean and exude quality, making for a dignified and comfortable stay.
What's most reassuring is the impeccably complete oxygen supply system. There's 24-hour diffused oxygen throughout the room, requiring no manual operation. The moment you enter, you can breathe ample oxygen, completely eliminating concerns about altitude sickness. Paired with a humidifier, the dry high-altitude issue is also perfectly resolved, allowing for peaceful and sound sleep at night and energetic exploration of Lhasa during the day. This is incredibly friendly for first-time visitors to high altitudes and truly rare among hotels at such elevations.
I must particularly highlight the exceptional sound quality. The professional audio system in the room is incredible – clear highs, rich lows, and a full, non-muffled soundstage. Whether listening to ******* folk songs, light music, or pop, the reproduction is incredibly accurate. Relaxing with music before bed creates an unparalleled ambiance, offering a private concert hall experience right in your room. Audiophiles will absolutely adore this detail.
The service is also beyond reproach. It’s a full butler service, with our butler, Zhang Jiaqi, being warm and attentive. Upon check-in, we were presented with a Hada (ceremonial scarf) and sweet tea, with every detail considered. Any request was met with an instant response. She proactively helped with luggage, offered travel tips, and assisted with altitude sickness concerns, always with a gentle and patient demeanor, never perfunctory. From check-in to check-out, we were treated with kindness and felt completely at home, with a service standard far surpassing many five-star hotels.
Furthermore, the hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of essential attractions like Barkhor Street and the Potala Palace, making travel incredibly convenient. You can also experience unique ******* cultural activities such as Thangka painting, ******* incense making, and singing bowl sound therapy. Eating, drinking, playing, and staying are all taken care of in one place.
In summary, the Lhasa Fanlian Hotel perfectly integrates a rich ******* style, luxurious decor, attentive service, comprehensive oxygen supply, and excellent sound system. Every aspect hits the mark. Whether visiting Lhasa for tourism, pilgrimage, or leisure, this is the undisputed choice. The next time I visit Lhasa, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone planning a trip to the City of Sunlight!

This is my third day extending my stay, which definitely shows how much I approve of this hotel. The staff's service awareness is exceptionally strong, perhaps due to the intense competition in the hotel industry. Regardless, out of the three hotels I've stayed at in Tibet, the service at逸扉 (Yifei) is absolutely 200%. Plus, the facilities are excellent, and the rooms are great! The rooftop view restaurant is even better, and upon check-in, they offered a choice of three complimentary coffees, redeemable at the lobby on the first floor. I'll definitely be strongly recommending Yifei to any friends traveling to Tibet this year.

I initially saw that this hotel had been open for quite a while, but it had a high rating at night, so I decided to give it a try for one night. It certainly didn't disappoint! I didn't have to worry at all about the facilities being old; the room's interior was very well maintained and beautifully decorated. All the amenities were complete and worked perfectly. Every staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. They have a laundry room, ******* clothing you can try on, and even backpacks. Downstairs, there's a restaurant and a car service that can take you to indoor attractions. It felt very safe and convenient, so I extended my stay for several more days. You can choose this hotel with confidence!

YYizepingguoThe location is excellent, right opposite the Tibet Museum, just a 5-minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is very convenient; during the off-season, you can park directly in front of the lobby without even going down to the underground garage.
The front desk staff was very professional in helping us check in and thoughtfully reminded us to rest on our first day at high altitude.
The room has a traditional and warm ******* decor. When visiting Tibet in the off-season (December), it's essential to stay in a warm hotel to alleviate the discomfort of high altitude.
Even in Tibet, Shangri-La's breakfast maintains its usual high standard. Be sure to try the tsampa and homemade yogurt. We also happened to meet Kent, who is in charge of the restaurant, and he provided excellent service and recommended some itineraries for exploring Tibet.

GGuest UserWe absolutely fell in love with this hotel - both the room and the overall environment. It is a beautiful hotel and we took loads of photos. LLvlingfan007The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.
GGuest UserThe room is very clean and hygienic.
The breakfast is good, with rich variety and spacious environment.
The bedding is very comfortable, clean and has no smell of smoke.
Oxygen is available 24 hours in the lobby, and hot drinks are welcome - Rhodiola in the lobby: I have not experienced these two.
Coke and Wanglaoji are free in the room.
It is worth noting that not all rooms have oxygen, and you need to book a ”room supply” room.
The hotel restaurant is also OK. The portion is large and the taste is good, suitable for those who don't want to walk out.
