Our overall stay exceeded expectations! The front desk staff were efficient and friendly during check-in, and proactively offered recommendations for local eateries and transportation routes. The room was meticulously cleaned with no unpleasant odors, the bathroom was spotless, and the mattress offered just the right firmness. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing us to sleep soundly through the night. The hotel amenities were comprehensive, and its prime location made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. This place offers exceptional value for money and is now my top choice for travel. I've already recommended it to friends.

Our family of three was absolutely delighted with the triple room! It was incredibly spacious – we could spread out all three large suitcases and still have plenty of room to move around. The best part was the fantastic natural light; the big windows made the whole room bright and airy, instantly lifting our spirits. The humidifier in the room was a lifesaver at this altitude; we slept soundly without any dryness. The electric kettle heated water quickly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of six complimentary bottles of mineral water! The mini-fridge was also very convenient for keeping our fruits and yogurt chilled. What truly amazed us was the hand-painted ceiling – auspicious Eight Buddhist Symbols, personally painted by a ******* artist. The colors were vibrant and brought a sense of good fortune. Waking up every day to such beautiful art made us feel incredibly blessed. These details really show how much care the hotel puts into its guests, balancing modern comfort with an authentic ******* cultural atmosphere. We had such a comfortable stay and highly recommend it to families traveling together!

I stayed at this hotel in Lhasa for several consecutive nights! What I loved most was the super spacious Tibetan-style courtyard on the first floor. I was absolutely mesmerized the moment I walked in! You can dine, enjoy sweet tea, afternoon tea, pet cats… In short, it’s perfect for leisurely spending time in Lhasa. The hotel is right on the Barkhor Street kora path, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! I heard this used to be the Nepalese Consulate 400 years ago, and now it's the Gesar Japo Museum! Carvings, murals, and antique objects are everywhere. Exploring this heritage-listed ******* ancient building truly feels like stepping back in time. Upon check-in, there's a traditional Hada presentation. The staff are so warm and helpful, even assisting with luggage. They also offer complimentary ******* traditional clothing for photos. In the room, there's a special high-altitude welcome kit: facial masks, hair essential oil, makeup remover wipes, and more… so thoughtful for female guests! The hotel offers a self-service breakfast. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, truly a master of creating a wonderful atmosphere! 🏡

This hotel deserves all the praise! The moment we stepped into the parking lot, we were greeted by that signature scent of a five-star hotel. As soon as we entered, the authentic ******* decor immediately immersed us in a wonderful atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in, and they even upgraded our room for free! While we waited, we sipped on rhodiola tea and enjoyed a welcome dance – it was an amazing experience. The room design was thoughtful, the amenities were high-end, and every little detail exuded quality. This is the first hidden gem of a hotel that has made us fall in love with an entire city just because of our stay there!

This was my first time in Lhasa with three elderly family members. The hotel's facilities were quite complete, and although it's a bit older, it's well-maintained. The service was warm and friendly, and we were very satisfied with our stay. When we arrived, the staff at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage. Yesterday, one of the seniors experienced some altitude sickness, and when we returned to the hotel, the front desk attendant kindly provided an oxygen tank, which effectively alleviated their symptoms. I was so busy looking after them that I forgot to take any pictures of the hotel.

Wingate by Wyndham is absolutely amazing! It's in a prime location, right next to a pedestrian street, and just a 5-minute walk to the Potala Palace, close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The hotel is very new, with a sophisticated and elegant decor that blends ******* elements. The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers throughout – a godsend for those worried about altitude sickness. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation and even a Dyson hairdryer, showing great attention to detail. The 6th-floor rooftop restaurant offers a prime viewing spot, and seeing the golden roof of the Potala Palace in the morning and evening is breathtaking. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, offering Hada scarves and complimentary room upgrades. The breakfast is delicious. New facilities, excellent service, and an unbeatable location – definitely the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa!

The hotel was absolutely amazing. I arrived around 8 PM, and they immediately offered me sweet tea and asked me to sit down and rest. The hotel staff had already checked me in. The air conditioning and oxygen generator were already on in the room, and the white fungus porridge on the table was at the perfect temperature. The overall facilities were excellent, the shower gel smelled wonderful, and the room was very clean. The kettle boiled water quickly, and the service was great. The only downside was the TV; it could be upgraded. The breakfast was delicious, especially the rice noodles—I ate two bowls! The chicken sausage was also excellent; many dishes featured beef and chicken, which are suitable for ethnic minorities, which was a big plus. The stir-fried ******* noodles were delicious, and the yogurt was also very good. However, the toppings were just average, and the honey was a little too sweet. But overall, it was fantastic. They first poured me a cup of tea, then I asked for hot milk, and they even prepared hot coffee for me – very thoughtful. The next morning, I had to catch a flight at 7 am, so I asked the hotel if they could prepare breakfast, and they thoughtfully provided bread, water, and milk. The hotel offered a choice between afternoon tea and evening drinks; I chose the drinks because I was busy in the afternoon and didn't go for the afternoon tea, but the drinks were truly amazing and delicious. Just look at the pictures! They gave me a gin and tonic, the orange one was Blood and Sand, the one with cucumber was Moscow Mule, and the red wine was Sangria. That was my order. The Blood and Sand and Sangria were very good (I recommend drinking the Sangria last). I also left an unused oxygen cylinder for you.

The hotel offers high-quality centralized diffused oxygen for 18 hours. The Thangka murals and frescoes are so well-maintained they look brand new, preserving a rich ethnic charm. The solid wood furniture and exquisite ******* decorations complement each other perfectly, showing meticulous attention to detail in every corner. The hotel is incredibly well-prepared for the plateau climate; not only do the rooms have 18-hour diffused oxygen, but also humidifiers and constant temperature underfloor heating. I didn't have to worry about altitude sickness or dryness at all, and I slept soundly every night in Lhasa. The service was simply impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, offering thoughtful advice on high-altitude travel during check-in and serving warm Rhodiola tea. The hotel also provides a complimentary ******* clothing experience and professional photography service. In the charming Tibetan-style courtyard, every photo turns out like a masterpiece. On Tuesday afternoons, you can even join 'A-Jia' (******* elder sister) to experience making 'tsampa' (a ******* staple food), which is a truly memorable activity.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I absolutely love the Tibetan-inspired zen decor throughout. Honestly, I found myself missing Vanlann (the hotel name) when I stayed at other hotels afterwards; I felt completely spoiled by it. The sweet tea before bed, the daily clean clothes, and the exceptionally good quality welcome fruit – it all added up to a super thoughtful and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

ZZailushang_jingWhen I first saw that it opened in 2010, my heart sank a little, fearing the facilities might be outdated. But I decided to give it a try. As soon as the car entered the main gate, I was blown away. Especially after going up the slope and entering the second gate, it felt like an ancient ******* manor. The entire hotel exuded a grand yet culturally rich atmosphere. It perfectly showcased the sophisticated essence of ******* culture. The rooms are huge, mostly over 50-60 square meters, and the temperature inside was very comfortable, without that stale smell you often find in older hotels. The only thing I'd complain about is that for a hotel in this price range, the breakfast selection isn't very extensive. Overall, it's the absolute best in Lhasa. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on future visits.

GGuest UserThe hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Rooms feature a 24-hour oxygen supply, with quiet wall-mounted diffusers or nasal cannulas available, and the system is virtually silent. The rooms themselves are clean, featuring smart toilets and automatic curtains. There's a self-service laundry room equipped with dryers. The hotel has a large parking lot and its location is convenient for transportation. Additionally, there's a viewing deck with a great view of the Potala Palace. Our butler, Zaxi, was outstanding, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

JjojoaipingCelebrating my birthday at the Hilton Shigatse was truly a heartwarming experience, filled with thoughtful details. From the moment we arrived, Kerry was incredibly attentive. She not only decorated our room with a lovely birthday setup in advance but also prepared exquisite desserts, with surprises at every turn. Throughout our stay, the Rhodiola tea service was a delightful touch, allowing us to enjoy a warm cup amidst our busy schedule. This perfect level of consideration completely exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a great view, ensuring a good night's rest. There was no forced pleasantry, just a genuine and appropriate level of care that made us feel respected and valued. This was a truly reassuring and warm stay, and it will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Shigatse. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for quality and warmth.
