Environment: The hotel boasts a garden-style architecture with ******* characteristics seamlessly integrated. The old furnishings scattered throughout add a charming touch. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The SPA was great. I experienced altitude sickness in Lhasa with body aches, and the massage provided significant relief. Highly recommended.

This hotel offers a perfect stay experience! The staff are attentive and thoughtful, and the rooms are spotless. The toiletries and bedding are of outstanding quality. The biggest surprise was the panoramic restaurant; its expansive views directly overlook the Potala Palace, allowing you to dine and enjoy the scenery simultaneously. Many people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight.

This hotel is absolutely stunning, with a rich ******* style that makes every photo-op a winner. Seeing so many international guests here shows how popular it is with tourists from all over the world. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and great communicators; they resolve issues quickly and even help guests pick out ******* clothing and enthusiastically assist with photos. If you book a day in advance, the hotel provides a private car service to major attractions, which is super convenient. On the second floor, there are complimentary massage chairs – perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing! And I have to mention the breakfast: *******, Western, and Chinese dishes, plus a great selection of fruits. It’s incredibly diverse, with handsome chefs freshly preparing ******* noodles, Chongqing noodles, pho, and rice vermicelli, catering to all tastes. If I had to choose again, I'd definitely stay here.

A very unique and beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious with 24-hour underfloor heating (the temperature is adjustable, so you can adjust it to your comfort). The bathroom is also spacious with a separate wet and dry area (though it doesn't have underfloor heating, which is a minor drawback). The view from the rooms is the most beautiful part; you can take amazing photos just by sitting outside the room, far more beautiful than strolling through Barkhor Street. The traditional kitchen on the first floor also greatly exceeded my expectations. The food was exquisite, and the service was top-notch; it would be a popular restaurant even in a first-tier coastal city.

Returned to the Hilton Shigatse and loved it just as much as before! My account manager, Wang Haitao, called me in advance to check on my needs. Upon arrival, all the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Manager Wang Haitao even personally came to my room to ask if I was feeling unwell and brought me fruit and dried nuts. Extremely satisfied! The hotel is very close to Barkhor Street and Potala Palace, both within walking distance, making its location absolutely superb! The hotel elevator goes directly to the 6th floor, where there's a popular cafe that's perfect for photos. Atour is a chain, so it's very clean and well-equipped with a light luxury feel. The Dyson hairdryer, high-quality pajamas, Peet's coffee, and a coffee machine are all highlights. Most importantly, the hotel also offers a video shoot of the 'dryland scallion pulling' experience, a welcome gift, and afternoon tea/coffee! There's also a butler service; you can just WeChat them if you need anything. Truly excellent! 👍🏻
