Stay at Wingate by Wyndham Lethbridge for modern comfort and convenience in southern Alberta. Our central location off Highway 3 provides easy access to Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden Helen Schuler Nature Centre and Fort Whoop-Up. Surrounded by restaurants our pet-friendly hotel is minutes from Park Place Mall and businesses such as Richardson Oilseed and P and H Milling. Back at the hotel enjoy amenities like free breakfast and WiFi as well as a pool and gym.

"Hotel was pretty good. My only complaint would be the weight room. Everything is quite rusty from humidity and the treadmill didn’t work. (Not a huge problem as I was still able to workout) Room was clean, breakfast was good and other amenities were good. Would stay again!"

YYoudiqiuAfter a great time at Emerald Lake, we were able to check in at 2 PM and even got upgraded to a lake-view room. It was lovely to lie in bed and enjoy the view, though it was a bit noisy being right by the elevator. We had dinner reservations by the window, and the view was beautiful; the steak was good too.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Irwin’s Mountain Inn for a quick winter getaway, and overall, it’s a solid choice for those who want to be in the heart of Banff without the premium price tag of the luxury resorts. What I Loved: The Location: You really can't beat being right on Banff Avenue. It was a quick, scenic 5-10 minute walk to the downtown core for dinner and shopping. Plus, the ski shuttle stop is just steps away, which is a massive plus in January. The Amenities: After a cold day outside, the 8-person hot tub and dry cedar sauna were highlights. They were well-maintained and exactly what I needed to thaw out. The Staff: From check-in to check-out, the service was genuinely warm. They were happy to provide local tips and made the process seamless. On-site Dining: We grabbed breakfast at El Toro Restaurant inside the hotel. The food was surprisingly good—definitely a step above your standard hotel fare—and very convenient on a chilly morning. A Few Considerations: Noise Levels: As some other travelers have noted, the walls are a bit thin. I could occasionally hear activity in the hallways and the hum of the heating system, though it didn't ruin my sleep. Parking: The underground parking is a great perk (especially to keep the snow off the car), but it is limited and quite tight. If you’re arriving late in the evening during peak season, you might have to hunt for a spot. Room Vibe: The rooms are clean and functional, but they do feel a bit ”classic.” If you are looking for ultra-modern luxury, this isn't it—but for a cozy, budget-friendly mountain base, it hits the mark. Final Verdict: A fantastic mid-range option for winter travelers. It’s clean, cozy, and perfectly situated. I’d definitely stay here again for the convenience and the hot tub alone!

GGuest UserNot our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today! It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so  minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered. Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”. After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card. Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge. “No apologies or thank you for staying with us”. Disappointing. Side note - Service in the ****** was great - including the restaurant.

SSyed MWe stayed here for one night. The room was bright and spacious. I liked the sliding shower door. Usually hotels have curtains that get wet and sometimes water leaks outside. The bathroom was small but clean with good lighting. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv. The room window was nice and big. The pool and hot tub was a great amenity. The pool place had nice big windows with a great view. I loved the shower/restroom (with a bench) by the pool which made it convenient to shower and change before heading back to the room. They also provided pool towels. The location was conveniently located near restaurants and maligne canyon (which was closed due to the wild fire). Breakfast wasn’t included. I would recommend staying here.

GGTANKSMy fellow Rotarian and I came for the 2025 Rotary International Conference in Calgary. The stay was pleasant. Service was excellent. Room was cleaned daily which was nice returning to a tidy clean room. Coffee and tea were replenished daily which was great. I will highly recommend to friends and family. The hotel was so close to the airport. Shuttle service was provided to the airport which was convenient. I liked the lobby display ready for the 2015 Calgary Stampede from July 1st 2025 for ten days.

SSyed MWe had a great 3 night stay here. We got the room with the balcony where you can see the mountains too. I really appreciate their room service. When we use to return to our rooms after a long day, the room and bathroom would be tidied up and provided fresh towels. The room was a decent size, it had an iron and microwave. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was awesome. It opened at 7am. We would leave the hotel for a long day with our bellies full. The staff was constantly refilling and cleaning the tables. The varieties were great and tasty. I loves their eggs, hash browns and seasoned potato wedges. They also had orange, apple and pomegranate juice. They have a nice conveyor toaster which I thought was convenient for everyone. We never had trouble with parking. The waterslide and pool is great fun. They also have a hot tub and sauna. I really appreciate the shower/restroom they have by the pool so you can shower and change before heading back to your room. There’s plenty of pool towels too. The location is near to several restaurants and gas stations. I would recommend staying here.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful two-night stay in Banff. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well organized. After long days enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, it was the perfect place to relax. A special thank you to Marilyn, who provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her professionalism and kindness made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, close to downtown Banff and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Banff.

GGuest UserHotel is a bit far from town but it provides free town shuttle. We booked the balcony room hoping to get a better view. We have rooms with big trees in front. When asked if we can change rooms, he won’t change since it’s not booked direct. The balcony room has little heat as the heater is smaller and the room is colder.

JJanice223I had a wonderful stay. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made check‑in feel effortless. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, and the space was clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. Small gestures like this truly make a difference. I’d happily stay again.

TTravel KweenWe had a large family room in the basement that was conveniently located next to the spa. Our check in was super friendly and the room was large and very spacious. The kitchen was lovely with lots of special touches. We had a few issues with the room, we booked a family room bath tub and there was no tub. Unfortunately the drain in the shower was disgusting, and the tiles were broken, we asked for another room but they had none available. We were told we could shower in the spa room. The spa wasn’t working and when we got in the shower they’d run out of shower gel. The sofa bed isn’t suitable for anyone as it’s very uncomfortable. Our very small teenager tried to sleep on it and she felt every spring. Despite our issues I would recommend this hotel as the location was good, staff were lovely and the breakfast was decent.
