Location is good for getting around Brisbane cbd, but quite a bit of traffic noise at night. Bathroom had a smell that I think was coming from the drain. Apart from the noise and smell the apartment was great. The fitness facilities were excellent

The room was clean, but it wasn't cleaned daily. The bed was clean and spacious. You should bring your own slippers. Some people might find the bathroom a bit concerning, but the staff were nice.

Tired and dated. Great location, botanical gems opposite. City view!!! The tarmac roof and major building works, 3 cranes were noted! Everything needs an update. Pool area ok excepts for the noise of construction. Should have been informed. There are other hotels nearby I would suggest you look at
Hotel is next to star ****** and walking distance to board beach. Hotel is looking pretty new and in fact, has been opened for few years.
The only down side was the house keeping on one of the night. We booked for 3 rooms for 3 nights, on the first day, the house keeping was completely messed up. 3x Rooms did make up (partly) with soil towels (one of the room only has bed tidy up, nothing else) and etc were collected, however, no cleaned towels replaced, bin still full.
Without this drama, this hotel is good.

Friendly, helpful check-in. The man at the counter offered extra towels when he heard we were taking a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Paid a little extra for an upgrade as we wanted to check in early. Room was fine temperature and bed comfort-wise. It was a little bit dark when in the room at night. Also, there are no type c or plug ins next to the bed, just old style USB. We didn’t have breakfast but enjoyed a drink in one of the cocktail bars by the pool. Would recommend and stay again for its cost and location.
Friendly helpful staff.
Woolworths, liquor store and fast food red rooster a short walk over the road.
15 minutes in an uber to the pier where lots of food and entertainment are.
Had a Good stay here along with view over the pool.
It does become light in the room as no black out.
Laundry facilities available
Would recommend

We stayed for four nights over the Easter holiday in a panorama sea view room in the new tower.
First of all, the location is excellent. The pool area has a sandy beach, and compared to the Hilton next door, the water was much clearer and very pleasant. The view is absolutely beautiful. However, when the tide goes out, it turns into what feels like a “panoramic mudflat view,” so I would recommend carefully considering the timing of your stay.
On the other hand, there were several issues with the room. There is no balcony, and the windows cannot be opened. There were mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten multiple times, which caused itching and swelling. The insect repellent device in the hallway was empty, which made me question the quality of housekeeping management. When I spoke to a female staff member at reception, I was told that only body spray repellent was available, and no further assistance was offered, so I had to purchase and install my own insect repellent.
In addition, there was a sewage-like smell coming from the bathroom. The mirror and sink were not properly cleaned and appeared dirty. The room and hallway also had a moldy smell, and due to the humidity, the bed linens felt damp. The duvet was thin and not very comfortable. As I am sensitive to smells, these issues made me feel nauseous and unwell.
Later, my husband spoke to a male staff member at reception. Although the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change rooms, he responded with sincerity, apologized thoroughly, and instructed housekeeping to carry out a deep cleaning. When we returned from going out, the bathroom had been properly cleaned and the sewage smell was gone. The moldy smell in the room did not completely disappear, but it had been masked with deodorizer, and we were able to sleep well that night.
However, the same issues returned the following day. As it was the Easter holiday and other hotels were fully booked, we had no choice but to stay until the end of our reservation. Afterward, I checked reviews and found many similar complaints about the moldy smell, which made me regret not researching more thoroughly beforehand. I had assumed that as a five-star hotel, it would be fine.
Overall, the reception staff were kind, friendly, and professional. In particular, the male staff member who assisted us was excellent. On the other hand, I felt that the quality of housekeeping needs improvement.
In my opinion, these issues are largely due to a design flaw—specifically, the building was designed with aesthetics prioritized over functionality by the construction company and architect, resulting in rooms where windows cannot be opened despite the humid tropical climate. The older tower, which has balconies and windows that can be opened, may not have the same problems.
I would not recommend this hotel to those who are sensitive to smells, but for those who are not, it can still be a wonderful place to stay given its location and facilities.

Great location, easy to walk the city, close to train stations, fast wi-fi, clean. I had 1-bedroom apartments on the 20th floor. Stuff is friendly. Please note that there are construction works, sometimes even at night. But when you walk the sights whole day it’s not a big problem. At night here is a good soundproofing. Definitely can advise these apartments!
It is a little weird hotel. The rooms are simple and a bit outdated, motel type, but nevertheless the restaurant area, the pool (which allows to make long) and the garden are very careful and are very nice. It has direct access to the beach of Mission Beach which is very beautiful and is 5-10 min walk from the area where shops and restaurants are grouped. Breakfast a bit lazy, charging an extra for an express.
Very Good

Oouliana routLocation of the resort is very good, on the river, close to the Surfers Paradise central area and walking distance to the beach. It has lots of free garage and on site parking. It has tennis court, beautiful pool with hot outdoor spa , gym and dry sauna. All service desk guys were very attentive and helpful. Downside is that the resort is old and needs lots of maintenance. All common areas are in need of a facelift. All units have individual owners. The unit I stayed had blocked sink in the bathroom and bed mattress in the bedroom was worn out and sagging to one side. Lucky me I was able to sleep on the other side!

GGuest UserSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.
XXiaomi2323Every time I visit the Gold Coast, I stay at the Marriott, and the breakfast is always great.
However, the caps on the shampoo and other toiletries can be easily opened, which raises some safety concerns.
After 6 PM, there are no staff or services at the pool, and it's not lit. For children with UV allergies who wish to swim in the evening, it's not possible. December is summer in Australia, so it gets dark late. I hope the hotel considers extending the pool's closing time, especially since guests are here for a holiday. Thank you.
GGuest UserI stayed in room 4603 on the 46th floor this time. It was a 2-bedroom, 1-study, 1-living room with an open kitchen, and all rooms offered incredible, unobstructed sea views. The three balconies outside were interconnected, and there were two comfortable sofas on the balcony where you could lie down and enjoy the ocean. You could also see the sea from both the bed and the indoor sofa.
However, I had to switch rooms twice before I was satisfied. The first room they gave me, 4501, only had a sea view from the living room balcony, and there was a super thick pillar blocking the middle! (See picture 6). Then they moved me to room 4702 (picture 7), which had an enclosed sea view, and the visibility wasn't very satisfying. There was only a balcony space about one person wide that wasn't sealed off, where you could stand to take photos without glass in the way. I wasn't happy with 4702 either; it felt different from what I booked. And then!!! From 4702, I saw the balcony of 4703 next door (picture 8), which had a fantastic view and was also completely open with an interconnected balcony! So, I went to the front desk a second time to request a room like 4703. Finally, they gave me 4603, and we stayed for three nights. It was pretty much like the pictures I saw when I booked! So, I highly recommend everyone choose the 03 room type!
I told the front desk that I had specifically booked a 'sea and sky' infinity sea view room, and if the sea view wasn't good, I'd rather not stay. The front desk kept saying she understood, she understood very well, and only after two room changes was I satisfied. I feel like the front desk has a strategy: they first give you a less desirable room, and only change it if you ask. If you think it's 'okay,' you might fall for it. If you only changed once, to a room like the 02 type, you might think, 'Well, this is better than the last one.' But what you might not realize is that the 03 type is the truly unobstructed sea view room you booked and deserve. So, if you're not satisfied with your room, make sure to take your booking photos and immediately ask the front desk to change rooms!
GGuest UserI recently stayed at a hotel in Gold Coast and had a mostly positive experience. The staff were incredibly nice and super friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The room facilities were great, and the large room provided a comfy atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Plus, the location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach and the tram station, with a supermarket nearby for convenience.
However, I did encounter a disappointing issue: we saw a cockroach in our room. While this was unfortunate, it didn't overshadow the overall comfort and amenities of our stay. With a little more attention to cleanliness, this hotel could be an excellent choice for future visitors.
