Sea View Hotels in Shandong, China

I stayed for two nights in a sea-view room and the view was absolutely stunning. It offered great value for money. You could open the window and see the blue sea and sandy beach right there, or just relax by the window and watch the sunset. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. Plus, you could walk straight out to the beach from the hotel. In the evening, sitting by the sea and listening to music was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Weihai.

First of all, I’d like to thank the incredibly friendly staff who managed to arrange an apartment room for us on the 34th floor with a breathtaking view of the East China Sea, even though we checked in at 1 am. There was also a fruit basket in our room upon arrival, which I’d like to highlight as a very positive touch, as it makes you feel valued as a guest. Overall, our stay at the Haiyi International was wonderful; the apartment was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were exactly as described. What’s more, the location is very central on the beach promenade, so we were able to enjoy the light show from our apartment every evening or take a mere 10-minute walk to the beach. For a family of three adults, this apartment is absolutely lovely, especially as it had two bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The only thing I would suggest improving is that the bedroom number two are separated from the living room by glass walls, and as these aren’t fully soundproof, you can hear people in the living room from the second bedroom. Another area for improvement is that, although there are curtains for the glass wall between the living room and bedroom number 2, there is a glass section next to the door to the room that cannot be covered by the curtain, which means the room is flooded with light coming through from the living room. We also noticed during our stay that the hot water runs very slowly, unfortunately – though this is more down to the building itself. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Haiyi International and would book this hotel again for our next visit to Qingdao, thanks to the friendly staff, the excellent location and the facilities.

I recently stayed at Pullman Yantai Center Hotel, and overall the experience was excellent. The hotel truly feels deserving of its 5-star rating, with outstanding service, facilities, and atmosphere. However, there were a few maintenance issues that affected the stay experience. The SONY TV in the room had very poor pixel resolution and display quality. In addition, the bathtub drain plug was difficult to operate and had to be manually removed by hand, and the windows leaked during the rain. There was also an overcharge issue at the front desk during my stay, but the receptionist handled it professionally and promptly corrected the problem by issuing a refund. Their service was outstanding. In addition, I did not receive the wine factory coupons that were supposed to be included during my stay. I hope the hotel can improve these details, as the rest of the stay was otherwise very enjoyable.

This hotel truly deepened my affection for Weihai. Although I opted for a more budget-friendly room without a sea view (on the 15th floor), the public observation deck offered an equally stunning vista. Watching the sunrise and sunset with the sea breeze blowing made my entire vacation feel so serene. The room was meticulously cleaned daily – fresh slippers, trash emptied, and general tidiness – these small details made me feel incredibly comfortable, like being well cared for by a friend. Just across the street is the beach; I enjoyed leisurely evening strolls along the shore, watching the gentle waves and kids building sandcastles. It was a heartwarming and healing experience. The hotel is also close to Torch Eight Street, making it easy to walk over and capture those vibrant, youthful scenes. What touched me most was the hotel's warm hospitality; the staff's smiling faces made this unfamiliar city feel so welcoming. I will definitely be back, both for this beautiful sea and for the homely comfort this place provided.

The hotel's location is superb, right next to Fushan Bay and May Fourth Square, with a seaside boardwalk just outside. The front desk lady upgraded me to an Executive Seaview Deluxe King Room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unbeatable ocean view, and I could enjoy the beautiful sea and city landscape right from my bed. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. After checking in, Ginny added me on WeChat. The service was attentive and thoughtful; she'd check in every day to see how my stay was going. While having dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the third floor, a short-haired lady—I'm not sure if she was a manager or supervisor—noticed me wiping my child's hands from a distance. Because the restaurant only had alcohol wipes, she specifically sent someone downstairs to get alcohol-free wipes. She anticipated the guest's needs without even being asked, which shows true professionalism and attentiveness. It's these small gestures that make a huge difference. Every service staff member in the restaurant was also very gentle and friendly, and the food was excellent. I don't often write reviews unless I've had a genuinely great experience, and I would definitely choose the Haitian again for my next trip to Qingdao.

Chose the Sheraton for my vacation in Rizhao, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is superb, right next to Wanpingkou, making it super convenient to stroll along the beach. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and the front desk staff were warm and polite. My sea-view room had an amazing view, with the balcony directly facing the sea and floor-to-ceiling windows providing excellent natural light. Waking up to watch the sunrise and enjoying the sunset in the evening created such a wonderful atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean, with meticulous housekeeping. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the mattress was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, fully equipped, and taking a bath was very relaxing. The hotel facilities are excellent; the gym and pool are great for unwinding, and the breakfast spread is rich, with plenty of Chinese and Western options and fresh ingredients. The overall service was professional and attentive. It's perfect whether you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway or a short trip. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Rizhao. Highly recommended!

My stay here exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center, and just a few minutes' walk to the subway. I booked a room with a view, and the sea view from the window was breathtaking, especially at night. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; despite being in a bustling area, it was completely quiet with the windows closed. Downstairs, there's a commercial district with everything you could ask for in terms of food, entertainment, and shopping. Both the front desk and room service were very prompt. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting; it's so convenient for getting around, and the view alone is worth the price of the room.

As soon as I entered the door, the room was clean and tidy, the environment was cured, the corners and corners were very neat, the sheets were refreshing and soft, and the hygiene was impeccable. Fantastic! The room was spotless, very spacious, and even had a sea view. It was fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine, and an induction cooktop. The host also recommended a local morning market (where we bought some huge abalone and sea snails in the morning!) and even lent us a pot to steam a whole batch of fresh seafood. Since our train was late, they kindly allowed us to check out two hours later, which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!

A truly great value stay! This Qingdao Beer themed hotel is such a cool concept, offering various beer flavors and even hop-derived products. You can walk right out of the hotel to the beach, and while it's not Golden Beach, it's still lovely, with swings and other decorations perfect for adults to enjoy 😝😝. Upon check-in, we were given three fruit beers. The yellow ice cream by the entrance is complimentary and you can have as much as you like. When we checked out, my elderly family members wanted some but they were waiting for a refill, haha. We chose the package that included unlimited beer, but unfortunately, it was only one glass per person. I'd suggest not calling it 'unlimited' as it can be misleading. I tried my hand at making hand-ground coffee – I was a bit of a novice, but managed to brew two cups 😂. The hotel breakfast was fantastic. I tried DIY TACO for the first time, which was unique, and there was a great variety of food. The fresh fruit and vegetable juices were refreshing, and there were also various bottled drinks, all local Laoshan products, as well as original draft beer – I didn't dare take any, fearing it might be chargeable… The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the service was incredibly attentive and thorough. It's definitely worth staying here!
