Guest UserI spent a weekend here, and it was a great experience! My apartment was absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the 42nd floor. Waking up to that sea view every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The facilities and services provided by the hotel are top‑notch. The hotel staff are helpful and professional. I am glad I chose this hotel for my trip! I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent there. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable experience!

Bearing the Crowne Plaza name, it once must have been glorious. My first stay here was a huge disappointment. The beach near the hotel is truly mediocre. The outdoor family pool is out of service, the Ferris wheel isn't operating, and the surrounding environment is completely different from what I saw in the online videos – a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Breakfast is served one floor below the lobby, and there's no direct elevator access, which is inconvenient for older guests. I had to ask a staff member who led us through a long, disused section of the restaurant, opened a door, took us to an elevator in Zone A to the second-floor lobby, and then we had to walk back to Zone B to catch another elevator. The breakfast selection was extensive, but the taste wasn't up to 4-star standards. The staff were all very nice, but the management is nowhere near 5-star hotel quality. I understand that with lower prices, there are more guests, and they need to cut costs. I definitely won't be returning for a second visit.

Guest UserI stayed for four nights in total, and from check-in, through multiple inquiries, last-minute requests, and finally check-out, I interacted with Kimi at the front desk numerous times. Her service quality was consistently excellent throughout. She wasn't just friendly at the start and then less so later on. Whether it was for minor inquiries or coordinating things like room preferences, executive privileges, or breakfast benefits, Kimi always provided clear and accurate answers, with no conflicting information. Her professionalism was steady, her patience unwavering, and her demeanor genuinely reserved. The entire experience was smooth and seamless, which is a truly exceptional level of front desk service. I will definitely recommend The Westin Qingdao to my friends and family, specifically highlighting Kimi's outstanding service at the front desk. My sincere thanks again.

Guest UserThe room is very spacious, perfect for families with kids. The window directly overlooks the Olympic Sailing Center, and you can even see the 'May Wind' sculpture. Waking up every day to the vast ocean and sailboats is truly wonderful. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Olympic Sailing Center Plaza from the hotel. You can stroll along the coastline to Taipingjiao Park and even go beachcombing there. All in all, it's super convenient to get anywhere. Highly recommend! Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'll definitely stay at Orange Crystal again. Oh, and the breakfast is also very plentiful!

From a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question.
After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

danyuanqingchangjiuThis hotel is right by the sea, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. You're just a few steps away from seeing the ocean, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The room was absolutely huge, and the price was very reasonable. Shandong people are so generous! Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'm definitely staying here again. Highly recommended!

Guest UserBooked a two-bedroom ocean view suite for my family. Waking up to the sea view every day was fantastic. It's a two-bedroom, one-living room suite with three bathrooms, meaning each bedroom has its own private bathroom for ultimate privacy. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station and MixC shopping mall, making shopping, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. In the evenings, ordering late-night snacks was a breeze, with a delivery robot bringing them right to our room. The hotel is situated in the heart of Shinan District, surrounded by numerous attractions like Badaguan, the coastline, Olympic Sailing Center, Yanner Island, Signal Hill, the Church, and the Naval Museum. Getting around to these spots is super easy by taxi or a hired car. The hotel breakfast is a buffet with a great selection of both Western and Chinese options. Finally, a big shout-out to the hotel butler, who was incredibly responsive and provided excellent service.

Guest UserThe Mandarin Hotel is located on Starlight Island in the West Coast New Area, surrounded by the sea and boasting stunning island scenery. As soon as you arrive, you can feel a sense of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sea breeze creates a wonderful vacation vibe. However, there was an entertainment event on the island that day, so it was incredibly crowded.
Stepping into the hotel lobby, the elegant and grand design perfectly blends with marine elements. The glass dome and crystal chandeliers complement each other beautifully. What impressed me most was the self-playing piano in the lobby; its melodious tunes flowed under the dome, adding an artistic touch to the entire space and instantly washing away any travel fatigue.
My business twin room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic sea views. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the ocean. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showcased quality.
The hotel's amenities are excellent. The complimentary indoor pool has clear, well-maintained water and is a good size. It's very well-regulated; you need a swimming cap to use it, and there's also a sauna and hot spring. The gym is fully equipped, and in addition to exercise machines, there's a table tennis room and an aerobics room. The hotel garden is charming, with European-style stone carvings adding a unique flair. Just outside, there's a seaside boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Parking and EV charging were very convenient, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making my entire stay, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly welcoming.

Before checking into the Hyatt Regency, we stayed at the MGM Grand.
What a difference! LOL.
Because I'm a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I was disappointed that MGM didn't upgrade our room or offer complimentary breakfast. However, the duty managers patiently explained everything and even kindly gave us a small lion plushie because we mentioned a few service issues.
In contrast, the Hyatt Regency upgraded our room. And the breakfast at the Hyatt Regency is truly amazing! Unfortunately, with a child, we only made it downstairs at 9:55 AM. Our butler thoughtfully offered to deliver breakfast to our room, but we decided to go down and explore the restaurant ourselves.
The hotel faces the Third Bathing Beach directly. We managed to grab some food and drinks before the vendors packed up for the day – though they packed up incredibly fast! But we understood, as we were saving room for the lunch buffet.
We also mentioned it was our child's birthday in advance, and they kindly delivered a delicious small cake. It was really good!
The Hyatt Regency will definitely be our top choice next time we visit Qingdao.

This is the perfect place to stay if you love shopping malls! The transportation is convenient. Exit A2 of Wusi Square Station, turn left, walk for five minutes, and you'll see Yuexi Apartments on your right. The front desk is on the first floor for check-in. Nearby, there's a 7-Eleven and a Luckin Coffee, and a few restaurants further up the street. I'm giving it five stars mainly because the price is acceptable, and the staff at the front desk was friendly and polite. The in-room amenities aren't perfect; I recommend reading other reviews as many people have already pointed out key issues. However, these seem to be building-wide problems (like dimly lit corridors to save energy, slow elevators, etc.). Although the room I stayed in didn't have a stunning view (it wasn't a sea view room and was blocked by the building in front), the bed and pillows were very comfortable for all three nights, and housekeeping cleaned daily. For your first check-in, it's easier to enter from the first floor. Once you have your room card, you can access Yuexi Apartments from the 6th-floor Sky City Garden, which connects directly to MIXC Mall. The in-room washer and dryer are very convenient, and they provide a small packet of laundry detergent daily. The refrigerator is large and cold enough! I suggest adding a plate or two and some utensils to the kitchen, which would make it even more convenient for guests.
