Sea View Hotels in Shandong, China

The room is incredibly well-designed, and it's super close to the beach and Torch 8th Street, so you can easily walk there. They really thought of everything with the room details – the toilet had disposable seat covers, and there were two pillows, one softer and one firmer. Plus, there was no strange odor, so it seems like they change everything out between guests. The housekeeper (not sure if that's the right term) was also very patient. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, you could honestly spend a long time just enjoying the room, especially since you can watch the sunset from there.

I'm reviewing this quite strictly because it's priced the same as the five-star hotel next door. The room and facilities are relatively new, spacious, and very clean. The linens were all comfortable to use. The location and view are also excellent. Here are the downsides I'd like to highlight: The design details of various facilities in the room are quite average. For example, the shower head on the wall couldn't be adjusted, so you had to hold it, and it took a long time for hot water to come out. It was nice that laundry detergent pods were provided with the washing machine, but there was nowhere in the entire room to hang clothes. I suggest adding a retractable clothesline in the shower room. The room's air conditioning and ventilation system didn't work well. It felt stuffy and hot during the May Day holiday, and there was still a noticeable odor in the room, so I had to keep the windows open for ventilation throughout my stay. The TV had no free channels, everything had to be paid for, but thankfully, I could cast from my phone. The breakfast was probably on par with a three-star hotel and needs improvement.

The room was large, clean, high up, and had a great view. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water flow. We enjoyed the breakfast choices, only the coffee machine was a disaster, as it, however, is a common issue with much too many hotels in China. The location of the Pullman is excellent, opposite of the “old town” and right besides the Wanda shopping centre, which houses a wide choice of restaurants (great Beijing style duck on the 3rd floor!). We do recommend staying at the Yantai Pullman.

This hotel truly deepened my affection for Weihai. Although I opted for a more budget-friendly room without a sea view (on the 15th floor), the public observation deck offered an equally stunning vista. Watching the sunrise and sunset with the sea breeze blowing made my entire vacation feel so serene. The room was meticulously cleaned daily – fresh slippers, trash emptied, and general tidiness – these small details made me feel incredibly comfortable, like being well cared for by a friend. Just across the street is the beach; I enjoyed leisurely evening strolls along the shore, watching the gentle waves and kids building sandcastles. It was a heartwarming and healing experience. The hotel is also close to Torch Eight Street, making it easy to walk over and capture those vibrant, youthful scenes. What touched me most was the hotel's warm hospitality; the staff's smiling faces made this unfamiliar city feel so welcoming. I will definitely be back, both for this beautiful sea and for the homely comfort this place provided.

Huge thanks to Ginny and Manager Fanfan for their exceptional care – their service philosophy is truly outstanding! The hotel itself is lovely. We booked an executive deluxe sea-view king room, and we were particularly impressed with the room's design. The bathroom and bedroom are completely separated by a solid wall. Plus, there's a two-door design: the first door ensures that if an adult uses the restroom at night, it's not an issue. The second door means that if an adult is showering or using the tub late, the solid wall completely separates the two areas, so it doesn't disturb anyone else's rest at all.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to several tourist attractions like Wanpingkou Scenic Area and the World Sailing Championships Base, and within walking distance to the beach. From the room, you can enjoy views of the sunrise and Rainbow Bridge. The breakfast is rich, offering a combination of Chinese and Western dishes; I especially recommend the Shandong pancakes and beef noodles. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Keith from the concierge team for his proactive and quick problem-solving, which has made us trust this hotel even more. We will definitely visit again!

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I'd genuinely recommend this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get around. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so grabbing a bite or shopping is a breeze, and getting a taxi is no hassle at all. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive; check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and they were always polite and responsive to our needs. The room itself was spotless and tidy upon entry, with a simple yet cozy layout. There were no strange odors, and both the lighting and ventilation were excellent. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just right. We had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep, as the soundproofing was effective – we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided. The hot water came on quickly and had stable pressure, making for a pleasant shower experience. The common areas were tastefully decorated and very well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The value for money here far surpasses other hotels in the same price range. It's perfect whether you're traveling for leisure or business. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

As soon as I entered the door, the room was clean and tidy, the environment was cured, the corners and corners were very neat, the sheets were refreshing and soft, and the hygiene was impeccable. The bed was very big and comfortable, I slept too well, I will definitely choose here next time! And the sea view is completely immersive and endless. Fantastic! The room was spotless, very spacious, and even had a sea view. It was fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine, and an induction cooktop. The host also recommended a local morning market (where we bought some huge abalone and sea snails in the morning!) and even lent us a pot to steam a whole batch of fresh seafood. Since our train was late, they kindly allowed us to check out two hours later, which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!

Environment: There's a gym on the first floor and a whisky tasting area below where you can enjoy a private hot spring bath – very relaxing. Service: Very attentive~ Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay longer to enjoy the sea views from the hotel, take a private hot spring bath, and most importantly, order some drinks~ Overall service is excellent. Recommended~
