I am very grateful to St Giles for accommodating to mh request for more vegan friendly food on Vesak Day so that I could also enjoy my breakfast happily. I’m so surprised that they really prepared a variety of vegan friendly food. St Giles is always my favourite choice for hotel stay. It’s feels safe with the security around and being linked to a mall it is so convenient, you can buy and eat anything at Mid Valley Southkey mall. Yesterday I saw more interesting F&B in the mall. Unfortunately although I request for a room with a good sunrise view, the window was dirty and the dressing table was not clean too, could see spots on it. Amenities wise, I think it is better now with shampoo and body wash installed. The fragrance in the room and the music from the TV were soothing. Thank you St Giles for another wonderful stay!

Location is good — very easy to grab around going KSL, mid valley. Room is Very spacious with large window of 2m. Shower pressure is good at 19th floor; but the bath tub leak(see picture ). Our bath towels look dirty and feel rough. Actually the bath mat looks cleaner and whiter than the bath towels. Breakfast spread is good but taste so so. Overall will recommend if you are not fussy. Most staffs are friendly.

This hotel is located right on the Johor Strait, and from my room, I had a great view of the bridge connecting Malaysia and Singapore. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. It's a grand hotel with a impressive feel, yet it's very well-managed. A tall young man at the front desk was particularly helpful; he even spoke Chinese, which made communication very smooth. Since the hotel is quite large, I wasn't sure where to park, and he personally escorted me to the parking lot behind the hotel. That was a really thoughtful gesture, and I'd like to express my gratitude to him here!

Decided to book last minute - initially cant book for family of 2A2C. WhatsApp them, replies was….sluggish. Finally manage to book and the room was…not like the initial ones. Previous booking it was really great. Room size room cleanliness. The room we got was small but there’s multiple hairs on the carpet. Especially with kids, that was just a no no. Call them via the phone provided, was put on hold and the line got cut off 🙂 Tried calling again, took quite a while before finally got connected. Upgrade the room for RM80. Whatever that was book on trip wasn’t as per advertised. Second, it was drizzling. So we went downstairs to take a look at the swimming area. There’s no towels. Call the front desk ask if the swimming pool is open, they mention “I think it’s open” Breakfast was subpar.

Been coming back to Holiday Inn everytime I visit Johor. Service from reception staff are generally okay, non have 'bad' attitude. Amenities are all good and working, from room to toilets to gym all working well. Breakfast was an average spread of selection woth local delicacies being offered. Will come back again on my next visit.

I often stay here but unfortunately the most recent time it was quite unpleasant. The room had an odour when I first entered and I reported it to the front desk and their manager came over to spray something which helped with the odour. Apart from that, this room looks to be in a bad state with the soap holder being broken which is quite inconvenient. The walls of the rooms are very dirty and dusty. Overall, I have stayed in better rooms at this hotel but I would say this room needs a lot of improvements. Overall the hotel is still quite good and I would still come back.

Thank you Luretta for the swift check-in. Will always book the suite here if i’m in JB. Bookings here include breakfast which is a plus, hotel allows smoking in some rooms which is also a plus. Restaurant is under renovation. Breakfast held in 1 of the ballrooms nearby. Egg station is always packed. Would be good if the chefs can prepare some omelettes before hand. Overall, pretty good stay.

Located directly beside/ above Paradigm mall, so it’s super convenient. The mall is really big, have ice skating ring and alot of activities enough for a whole day of fun. The gym is quite new, the only down side is the swimming pool water is murky.
