Romantic Hotels in Hunan, China

Very friendly and warm staff throughout our stay. We were served by Mr Yang, who was patient and extremely accommodating. He carefully checked our requests on the booking platform and made sure everything was arranged just as we wanted. Breakfast had a good variety, and the staff there were attentive and kind, making the experience even more pleasant. Upon check-out, Ms Jessie thoughtfully offered me some local tea as a souvenir, which was a lovely gesture. She also provided useful information about the surrounding area and the national park, along with maps to help us plan. Mr Chen, a very courteous gentleman, assisted us during check-out smoothly. I’d also like to mention a kind lady at breakfast (Ms L—unfortunately I didn’t catch her full name) who was very helpful. Overall, the location is excellent, and they provide free luggage storage. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from all the staff.

Super convenient location. Friendly staff. Efficient check in/out. Hotel leaves little to be desired with everything it provides, be sure to check out the neighbouring bar ”Firefly” or 萤火虫 for baidu map searching purposes. Late night walks in this area are to die for, and the train station is a five minute walk from the door. IFS mall is five to ten minutes away. Wuyi street is slightly further, around another 5 minutes from IFS. You can continue walking leftward towards the popular Old Taiping Street for a snack or some souvenirs as well. Can’t forget good ol’ huangxing street that's two minutes away of course. Did I mention Lawsons and 711 as well? All there.

The rooms are brand new and smart, and the hotel's interior is beautiful with fresh flowers everywhere. Breakfast is quite tasty, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Sometimes, the laundry room staff even help with washing and drying clothes, which is incredibly thoughtful. Although it's a local Changsha chain, it's really excellent. When the kids wanted drinks, they just filled a bottle with mineral water and also gave us two breakfast vouchers. It's only two stops from Orange Isle, five stops from Yuelu Mountain, and about a fifteen-minute walk to IFS. The location is truly convenient.

The Didi taxi 50% off coupon was incredibly convenient and a great deal. The overall lighting was excellent, making the space very comfortable. The environment was lovely, and the service was warm and attentive. The facilities were complete, and the location was convenient, very close to Wanjiali Plaza. Plus, they offered afternoon tea delivered right to the room, which I was very happy with.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, making travel incredibly convenient. You can spot it right across from the subway exit, and getting to the high-speed rail station or Huanghua Airport is a breeze. They even arranged one of our rooms with a river view, and the Xiangjiang River scenery was truly impressive. The rooms are spacious enough, and getting a taxi right outside the hotel is never a problem. They even offered a small umbrella when we left in the morning – such thoughtful service! The hotel is close to Pozi Street, and on the fifth floor, they have a washer-dryer combo. They also offer non-smoking floors. I highly recommend booking a river view room.

My stay at the Junyi Mountain and Water Hotel in Changsha was fantastic. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation and plenty of attractions nearby. The room was spacious, bright, and well-equipped with modern amenities, and the bedding was so comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were always warm and attentive; every interaction felt genuine and professional. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes. Overall, Junyi Mountain and Water Hotel Changsha is a highly recommended quality hotel, perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Checking out and getting the invoice was also very quick, the front desk lady was super efficient! Rating: 9/10.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The room is very spacious and well-equipped. It even has a huge bathtub and a super clear projector directly facing it, so you can watch movies while soaking. I regret not staying here sooner in my trip. They also provide free laundry and drying services around the clock. The location is excellent, right in Nanmenkou, making it convenient to access the subway station and Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street.

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

Two days and one night in Changsha | Stayed at a really cool hotel and had Cha Yan, which isn't available in Wuhan. Discovered a hidden gem design hotel in Changsha! 🖤 The overall dark aesthetic is super cool, with excellent taste that's both stylish and upscale. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the concierge even recommended Hongyuan BBQ nearby, which was very authentic and bustling with local life. The location is also convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Zhidi Plaza. Of course, a trip to Changsha wouldn't be complete without Cha Yan! This time, I tried all the milk teas and coffees from the Cha Yan family – they're not in Wuhan yet 😭 The milk tea was as refreshing and consistently good as ever, and the coffee was surprisingly excellent, easily comparable to a professional coffee shop. Both my stomach and taste buds are satisfied, I'll definitely come again next time~

I had a great stay , The room and common areas were very clean, and housekeeping did a solid job throughout my visit. The location is convenient for getting around, and check-in/check-out was smooth. The receptionists were very kind and helpful,they were responsive and quick to assist with any questions. Amenities were well maintained and everything worked as expected. Overall, excellent value and I’d happily stay here again.
