The hotel is great and centrally located and walking distance to the supermarket, cable car station and eateries. Room is spacious, with an executive chair and working table and comfortable bed and toilet. Washing machines and dryers are provided complimentary on the 3rd floor where the gym and coffee house are located. Reasonable good selection of breakfast buffet spread at the coffee house.

We stayed for two nights at Fungee’s Hotel, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a very relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel truly welcomed and valued. Their hospitality added a special touch to our visit. The location is also convenient, making it easy to explore Changsha.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

An Instagramable hotel with good service and location. Spacious room with chic deco. However, the mattress is too hard for a comfortable sleep. Besides, the noise (dog barking, car horn ,etc) can be heard especially for rooms facing the road. Breakfast spread is acceptable, with spread mostly to the local favour. The night shift staff can help with the laundry if the dryer or washing machines are in use.
Old Taiping St, Pozi pedestrian St, Huangxin pedestrian st, IFS, and Wuyi sq are within 1 km radius. Wuyi station Line 2 is about 400m away. The nearest shopping centre is Wanda Plaza less than 200m away. There's a massage centre on 4th floor to soothes your tired legs.
Overall, we are happy with our stay. Thanks to Xiao Jun & Xiao Meng for their good services.

Facilities: Decent, still relatively new.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Environment: Great, very close to the subway station.
Service: Warm and attentive, the front desk ladies were all very gentle.
Double afternoon tea: Tasted good, excellent quality.
Daily 5 pieces of standard laundry (wash and dry): The wash and dry service was very good.
Didi taxi 50% off coupon: Super good deal, only cost a few yuan to take a taxi to the train station.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the service was excellent! We asked the front desk and they provided kids' slippers, toothbrushes, and even a disposable bath bag. The location is truly fantastic – just about 200 meters from Exit 1 of Xiangjiang Middle Road, right across the crosswalk. It's close to Orange Isle, and they offer a free laundry room and a delivery robot. The view from the window was also beautiful, with a great vista! The only minor downside was that the coffee at breakfast was just so-so; I personally feel coffee is the soul of a buffet breakfast. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money!

This hotel is right next to Martyrs' Park and very close to the subway station. I arrived early on Saturday morning for check-in, and the two front desk ladies were very helpful, smoothly upgraded my room, and I got a bigger room, which made me so happy! The hygiene is excellent, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. The whole room is smart-controlled by 'Xiao Du' (a smart assistant), which is very convenient. The pumpkin pancakes at breakfast were delicious! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

I stayed in Changsha last week and tried a different hotel this time. My previous stay was near IFS, and when I got off the train this time, I thought I wasn't close to Wuyi Square. But I was wrong! It was just a short walk to the bustling pedestrian street, and all the shops had promotions going on – it was so lively. Even though it was a Monday yesterday, it felt like a weekend! The hotel's location is highly recommended, and the service was excellent. When we checked out, the front desk attendant even gave us a small gift.
There's one thing I'd like to mention: could guests please not be allowed to smoke in the lobby at night? The ventilation system seems to be shared, as we could smell it in our room too. Since our room didn't have windows and we have sensitive noses, it was quite uncomfortable.
I ordered food late at night and there was no robot to deliver it to the room, so I called the front desk if they could bring it to the room. They refused and told me to get it myself. After going to the lobby I see the receptionist talking to the assistant, both of them are clearly not busy.
Sure, I can get the food myself but when I'm paying the price for an Intercontinental hotel I would expect top tier service. And I've had hotel assitants bring the food to my room in chinese hotels that costs less than half the price of this one.
Besides that, the hotel looked nice, and the room was good. The location is not really great if you plan to walk anywhere, but with a taxi it's acceptable. The view is pretty good if your room is facing south. Facing north (even with river view) it's not that spectacular.
Service: I arrived quite late, but the service was excellent. The initial room had a toilet issue, but they promptly upgraded us to a different room, which was great. They even have a robot that delivers food.
Ambiance: As a design hotel, it's very picturesque with beautiful scenery everywhere you look.
Location: It's right above the subway station, and you can take an elevator directly to the hotel from the high-speed rail without even going outside. It's also very close to Chaozong Street, Jiefang West Road, and IFS.
Facilities: The room comes with a voice assistant and a free minibar. The coffee at breakfast is delicious, and the beans are very aromatic.

This stay was really great, the hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and they even showed us the room beforehand, letting us change if we didn't like it. For this price, I thought it would be just okay, but it was clean, tidy, and odor-free. The hot water was plentiful and the shower pressure was excellent. The air conditioning also worked perfectly. Highly recommend, it's the best!

Perfect
From the moment we arrived, this stay was nothing short of exceptional. We were picked up at the train station by the hotel’s driver free of charge — such a thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel welcome. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm hospitality and enjoyed a delicious dinner that truly exceeded our expectations. The entire homestay is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. We’ve stayed at hotels across China, including ones double the price, but this one stands out above them all. The comfort, service, and attention to detail here made it the best stay we’ve ever had in China. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect and memorable stay.
Exceptional Stay at Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel My recent three-night stay at Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel was absolute perfection! The second I walked in, the front desk team welcomed me warmly and finished check-in in minutes—no tedious waiting at all. My room was impeccably clean, with a plush bed that had me sleeping soundly each night. Waking up to the faint view of Zhangjiajie’s lush mountains through the window was a lovely surprise, and the room’s quietness made it ideal for relaxing after day trips. The breakfast buffet shone with fresh options, from crispy pastries to hearty hot dishes, and the coffee was always smooth. What truly made this stay unforgettable was Service Steward Xiao Yu—he remembered my preference for early breakfast, helped arrange a timely taxi to the scenic area, and even left a note with local snack recommendations. I’ll 100% book Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel again on my next trip and can’t recommend it enough—especially if you get to be assisted by Xiao Yu!
Very big hotel with lots of amenities including a well equipped gym, laundry room, billiards, etc. While the room was quite clean, the hotel itself is quite old. I didn’t like the layout of the bathroom but the room was quite big. Staff was respectful. There is also a restaurant in the lobby for both breakfast and lunch. The location is very convenient since it’s right at the entrance (~6min walk from fenghuang ancient town) and right in front of the bus station where they drop you off from the high speed train and where you will take the bus to the station.
Best service..bery friendly…help pick up and drop to cable way station…the boss / owner also very help and friendly…room very nice view to Tianmen mt and river. Very suggest here…and romantic place
Great place to stay near the airport and train station. Only 30 minute didi taxi ride to the national forest east gate in Wulingyuan. Also next to the cable cart that takes you up to Tianmenshan mountain about 5 minutes taxi ride. Very clean place and hosts are nice
We primarily want to express our gratitude to the administrator Cherry, who did everything necessary to make our stay at the hotel comfortable, and her efforts deserve the highest praise! She was in contact with us every day via WeChat and in person, and helped resolve various minor problems that arose. Cherry is the only person at the hotel who speaks English. The hotel staff does not speak English, but communication is possible through a translator. Regarding the hotel, it's quite old, although everything looks very nice in the photos. In reality, the buildings are very old and worn down. Some of the equipment is outdated. The hotel grounds are kept clean, the cottages are surrounded by a beautiful park and forest, with clean air and birdsong. However, the hotel does not meet the level that is advertised. The hotel was advertised as having five restaurants, but in reality only one, serving Chinese cuisine, was open; everything else was closed, possibly due to the low season. However, this was not mentioned on Trip.com. The breakfast selection was very varied, but the food wasn't very tasty. We had a hard time choosing what to eat for breakfast. This hotel is suitable for people who are looking for peace and quiet. It's located a bit outside the city, about 10 km away, and you'll need to take a taxi every time you want to get to the city. But if you want tranquility, this is the place for you.
Had a wonderful stay at No. 5 Valley Inn. Upon arrival our assigned innkeeper, Frankie gave us a thorough brief on hotel amenities and meal timings. He also suggested routes to take for Wulingyuan. In case you haven’t bought attraction tickets, the inn sells them at a slight discount. A WeChat group was setup for easy communications. They’re effectively bilingual so you can text in both English and Chinese. All requests from meal orders to pickup/drop off can be made through WeChat. The hotel provides FOC pick up and drop off service to the nearby West-gate of Wulingyuan. Hotel environment had a charming country vibe. The resident cats and dogs even bring you to breakfast. Breakfast buffet had good variety, and Ala-carte dinner offers many options. Don’t miss the fabulous valley views of morning fog/ evening sunset from the heated pool and rice terrace. Should you decide to stay indoors, they offer activities like calligraphy, knitting, and pastry making. A strong recommend.
Great location! We really loved the hospitality and the landscape here. Warm and friendly. Feels like a family. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made me feel right at home. They were incredibly accommodating, offering a seamless pick-up and drop-off service to the South Entry of the national forest, which was a huge convenience for exploring the stunning surroundings. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including high-quality toiletries that added a touch of luxury to my stay. One of the highlights was the food. The hotel proudly serves local and organic dishes that are not only delicious but also showcase the rich flavors of the region. Every meal was a delightful experience, making it easy to enjoy the culinary culture of Zhangjiajie. Additionally, the staff were more than willing to share information about activities in the area and assist with ticket purchases for attractions. Their knowledge and recommendations enhanced my visit significantly. Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking to explore Zhangjiajie. The combination of spacious accommodations, warm hospitality, and delicious organic food makes it a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return!
The hotel is very cute and at an excellent location, great value for money and the room spacious, comfortable and clean. What really made our stay amazing was our hosts Tassa's welcoming and incredibly helpful nature. She helped as arrange all our sightseeing meticulously so we can fit as much as possible in our tight timeline and secured the best prices for everything, always had a smile on and was genuinely the nicest. The breakfast was great, especially the noodles that were prepared on the spot. The entrance can be hard to find as it's on the side of the building but beyond that, I highly recommend it and would stay again.
